Added a Blue Cod. This was similar to the monk fish, but more tender, delicate, flaky, and sweet. Both fishes were not seasoned, so be sure to sprinkle some chicken salt with a splash of vinegar. The way it was battered was messy and uneven, so you don't get the full crispiness. Overall, the fish and chips were good. No, it's not the same as in England, but it's New Zealand's version, and definitely acceptable. Yes, it's pricey, but that's just being in the heart of Queenstown.
