Specialties
Erika Jordan offers eclectic, trauma-informed clinical care for a wide range of clients — adolescents through adults — including people navigating severe trauma, coercive control, and court-involved situations. What sets the practice apart: nobody gets forced into a single model or handed a stack of coping skills and called healed. The work is integrative and built around the actual person in the room — honest, tailored, and grounded in real understanding.
History
Established in 2009.
Erika began her career coaching clients through the world of online dating — but the deeper the work went, the clearer it became that the patterns people kept hitting were rarely about dating at all. That realization sent her into formal clinical training and reshaped the entire practice around trauma, identity, and healing.
Meet the Business Owner: Erika J.
Erika Jordan holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology (MFT track), is a doctoral student in Marriage and Family Therapy, and is completing supervised hours toward AMFT registration and California licensure. Her foundation is also sociological — with a BA in sociology and behavioral science — shaping how she works: she sees both the person and the systems they move through. Power, control, and systemic injustice aren’t side topics; they’re often central to the healing.
An eclectic, integrative clinician, Erika works across past, present, and future, starting from the belief that the past is the foundation everything gets built on — so the work often begins there, filling the old cracks with gold before building forward.
She brings warmth, humor, and zero judgment, plus a finely tuned radar for the stories we tell ourselves to survive. She won’t hand you a worksheet and call it healing — she helps you understand yourself, reclaim your story, and write the next chapter on your terms.
