Last week I came here for a new headlight that had burned out. The friendly staff made it easy for…read moreme to find the correct bulb and even helped me put it in since I was having a difficult time figuring out just how to remove the old bulb. The bulb lasted one day and blew again!! I have been having a difficult week between work, having my father in the hospital, and other personal happenings so I didn't have an opportunity for an entire week to come back and get a new lightbulb. Unfortunately I had already thrown out the receipt and packaging the day I replaced the bulb the first time and was prepared to just buy a new one. As I was speaking with a gentleman that works here the woman who helped me with my purchase last week overhears us and says "didn't you just fix your headlight last week?" Well, being the expert I am now, thanks to last weeks free training, I replaced the headlight and was told to have a wonderful day. No hassle, no bother, no worries, and I didn't have to pay for another bulb. I should have gotten their names so I could include them in this review. I really appreciate you taking care of me. You didn't even know what an absolutely frustrating and horrible week I had had and you showed me a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Thank you!!! One last note, I was even given a glove on both occasions so I wouldn't accidentally touch the bulb and ruin it.

This is a great location! I've been shopping here for the last ten years (wow, since I was a…read moreteenager!) and it's been a consistent experience every time. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful beyond compare. The prices always seem fair to me because it beats paying an exorbitant amount of money at an automotive shop. As of late, I have had the misfortune of needing various car supplies, but was fortunate enough to remember this particular shop and its convenient proximity to my daily travels. My most recent visit entailed a purchase of a pair of new windshield wipers. An associate quickly helped me find the ones I needed. Another associate quickly and earnestly offered his help in replacing them. I vehemently declined as I was feeling stubborn and dead set on accomplishing this *minor* feat on my own - like the strong, independent woman I am. But alas, my protests were all for naught because I couldn't get the dang old wiper off the doohickey. After waiting a respectful amount of time *probably* watching me struggle from inside, the kind associate came to my aid. I asked him to walk me through the process and show me exactly how to do it so I could replace the second one on my own. He was patient and effective in his explanation. Again, my independence (read: stubbornness) made me send him off after his demonstration so I could work my magic on the next wiper blade. As I was fussing with it, the manager rounded the corner outside, returning from her break, and offered her help as well. It was refreshing to see a woman in the automotive field for once. But as with the last, I told her I had to do it myself. She insisted on silently staying in case I needed help and I accepted. Once I successfully replaced it in record time (the first time is still a record!), she actually sincerely congratulated me. -- I know it may all sound silly reading this but all of those little interactions really added up to make an otherwise annoying chore an exciting learning experience where I felt supported and genuinely cared for. These are the experiences customer service and serving your community are all about. A+ job, Haygood Autozone team!

When I walked in, I explained my situation but the person I was talking with told me very bluntly they could only do it if it was a check engine light. I suppose this was a misunderstanding on my part, even though this is what I read on the website, but this man was very curt and did not help to provide an adequate customer service experience.

For me to give a review it's usually when a business has either gone above and beyond and has done…read morea fantastic job, or they have been so bad that words can't describe how appalling they were. In this case, I've gotta give 5 stars, 2 Siskel and Ebert thumbs up (WAAAY UP), and a standing ovation. I called Advanced Auto just to ask if they had a particular part at their location which I wasn't able to locate on their website. It took me 3 calls to get through only to be put on hold for 9 minutes and 54 seconds before I hung up. Yes, I looked at my phone to see how long I was on hold before I hung up. So I decided to call Autozone on Newtown and it only took 1 call and which was answered on the 2nd ring by Tammy. I asked her if they carried the part I needed which are called baffles that come in pairs, she said they do but they only have 1 pair in stock at their store, I told her I needed 2 pairs, so she checked while I was on the phone, found it at the Granby store location and saw they only had 1 pair in stock there as well. I said ok I'll have to hurry up and go grab it from the Granby location and THEN come to their location off Newtown. She told me she didn't want me to have to do all that running around if I didn't have to not to mention have the part sold to someone else and me end up wasting time and gas on a useless trip. So she offered to put them on hold and ordered the one at the Granby location to be shipped to their store so that I could pick them both up at the same time and guarantee I get them! I thought, "Go 'head girl whicha bad self!!" But I didn't say that, rather I just said, "Now THAT is customer service at it's finest and yes I will be giving you a fantastic review for your help Tammy!" So she went ahead and did just that, they called me when it came in, and I went to pick them both up! Just had to give a fantastic review for the help and assistance that Tammy gave to me, and yes, I will be shopping here from now on for my auto parts solely based on this excellent customer service experience I received!

Great experience with Vince last weekend test driving all three of the 300 series mid-size SUVs…read more We made an appointment and they were ready for us when we arrived - easy day. You could tell Vince knew his stuff. I tested him on a few things and he easily answered all my pertinent questions and remained helpful and polite the entire meeting (largely over an hour). I test drove three cars and enjoyed them and was impressed with the features and options inside. The dealership is lovely and clean with a nice waiting area with drinks/coffee available. I have yet to purchase and have maintenance so I can't speak to that - but the buying and test-driving experience was good so far.

Mercedes-Benz - A customer service experience you should know !…read moreThink buying a Mercedes-Benz means you're going to receive premium customer service? My experience has been very different I am sharing my experience because customers DESERVE TO KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN when something goes wrong, and you need Mercedes-Benz to stand behind its customers. I have been a loyal Mercedes-Benz customer for decades. My first Mercedes was a 1981 500 SL; I have owned five Mercedes-Benz vehicles. After this experience, I am questioning that loyalty. On July 28, 2026, my wife and I were traveling to Florida to close on our new home when my 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with only 53026 miles suddenly broke down on the highway. There were. No warning lights, no warning messages, and no symptoms beforehand. The sudden engine failure put my wife, my family, and me in a potentially dangerous situation on the highway. The Mercedes-Benz dealership diagnosed catastrophic engine damage involving cylinder #2, including a burnt valve and damage to the top of the piston. The failure was investigated using a borescope, compression testing, and a smoke test. I was also told it was highly likely the #2 fuel injector had mechanically failed. The repair estimate is $26,465.19. My Sprinter was well maintained through a Mercedes-Benz dealership since the day I purchased it. I was told by two dealerships, Virginia and Fayetteville, to contact customer care, and they told me they had never had this type of failure on this model. What is most disturbing is what happened next. Neither the advisor nor the customer care team contacted the dealership to investigate the failure. No meaningful investigation was conducted into WHY this engine failed. No one contacted the Fayetteville Mercedes-Benz dealership to obtain additional information. Yet Mercedes-Benz still made a decision denying goodwill assistance. My first case was closed. A second case was opened and then returned to the same worker, Kennedy. After all of this, I finally received a call from a new representative.Christoher. I was told Mercedes-Benz could not help because of the vehicle's year and mileage. I find it extremely insulting that Mercedes-Benz considers a well-maintained 2016 Sprinter with 53,026 miles "High Mileage" when the vehicle has suffered a catastrophic engine failure, and the repair is $26,465.19. I even offered to pay the labor if Mercedes-Benz would help with the major repair. Instead, I was offered $1,000 toward a future Mercedes-Benz purchase. I was told that even though my Sprinter was upfitted, it was worthless, and the upgrade done to it would not be considered at all for the Value of the Sprinter. So here is what we have, upfitted - equals no value added to the vehicle, no investigation into why this has happened - equals not worth their time Oh, did I mention they stated I purchased the Sprinter via an auction This equals no investigation into the Sprinter, no request for proof of purchase. I get a call almost a month later from roadside assistance. Saying they received my case for roadside assistance- WOW. It took over a month to get someone on the line to answer any questions. I had my first advisor call at 7 pm twice - once to say you purchased it via an auction and hung up she stated Case closed; no help. I opened a new case to look into why it was closed and a request to get a new advisor. They gave the case back to her. I got a call again at 7 pm, and this time it was to say," Your case has been escalated to a new advisor."Call ended. I don't think trying to get a expalaintion into why certain things were not done, or a reasonable answer as to why goodwill was denied. When there is evidence Mercedes has given goodwill to a vehicle with much higher mileage than mine. I didn't expect them to give me goodwill assistance because I asked them. I expected to be treated like everyone else and to see if I qualified for the goodwill, but you can't qualify if all their information is wrong and they didn't ask me for anything to clear up what they had on file. I offered multiple times to send over the information they had wrong. I requested that they send me a denial letter via mail or email. No one has responded. After everything I have invested in this brand, that offer of $1,000 felt less like customer care and more like: "Your problem, not ours." This is not simply about money. It is about safety, accountability, communication, and how Mercedes-Benz treats a customer who has been loyal for decades. I am deeply saddened and extremely disappointed Because of this experience, I have now put my SL AMG up for sale. After decades of loyalty, I never thought I would say this: If anyone wants a "dying star," mine is officially for sale. All stars eventually die. But this one didn't simply fade away- it has completely flamed out and gone into the ocean. Five Mercedes-Benz vehicles.Decades of loyalty. And when I needed Mercedes-Benz to stand behind me.
