So, I'd used Eric in the past without incident. On a Monday I contacted him about a Beloit tenant's over the range microwave. We agreed that due to the cost difference between attempting repair and a new one to just replace it. He only deals with Brother's Main appliance in Janesville, so I ordered one from them online and set it up for him to pick it up. Once that was set, I texted him that the microwave would be ready in Janesville for pickup on Thursday and the tenant information, which included that it was an upper flat. Eric called the next morning saying that he wished I'd told him that it was upstairs (as if I was asking something out of the ordinary) because he doesn't go upstairs. Risk management, he said. I don't recall the exact wording; he may have said that he doesn't do installs upstairs. Regardless, how the heck does an appliance repair business not use stairs? What if there was a dryer in a basement? Sorry, can't do it. I asked if he had any suggestions about somebody else who would do it. He did not. He lamented that "nobody wants to work anymore". Heh. Coming from a guy who won't work due to stairs. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

Terrible experience. I hardly ever leave negative reviews, but this was such a horrible customer service experience, I almost can't believe it. We spoke with Eric to have our dryer repaired after it stopped heating on Monday. We settled on a time for the very next morning (Tuesday) and were at home and ready for him to arrive during the 2-hour window he gave us for the repair. He did not show up and later told us that he won't come out unless he confirms the appointment on the phone day of, even if you talk to him the day prior. I wish he had told us that at the time of setting the appointment so that we would have known to keep our phones on us. When he didn't show, we rescheduled for Thursday. On the phone before he arrived I kindly asked him to park where we have cars parked in a parking area on our property because our home is also a business, and if cars are parked in the driveway it's confusing for our customers. He parked in the middle of the parking area which would have made it difficult for cars to park properly, I asked him kindly if he wouldn't mind moving his (large) vehicle to a very close, actual parking space and a place that would allow for through traffic and clear parking for our customers. He responded in a very angry, highly unprofessional tone to me, huffed off to his vehicle, slammed his door, and drove away without even telling us he was leaving. After now knowing how unprofessional Eric is, I'm glad he left before repairing our dryer, because I wouldn't trust him in my home, around my family, or with my appliances. read more

Eric came out on Labor Day morning (2019) to rescue my (90 y/o) Mom from a leaking refrigerator ice maker input hose. Despite the holiday, and being a very busy man, he come right away after she called. Once on site, he quickly and expertly fixed the problem for her. His price was VERY fair. Thanks very much, Eric. Very rude and unprofessional. He had an aggressive and arrogant attitude from the moment he arrived. Then he barely looked at my brothers dryer and made some snotty remarks (including saying he should have had his head checked before he agreed to show up and help him" and said "hope you figure it out" with an attitude and left without putting the dryer back how it was when he got there or saying goodbye. If you want someone who thinks they're better than you and treats you like you're scum on their shoe, Then I recommend him with flying colors. If you wanted to be treated with respect and dignity, then I'd try another repair service. read more

Called him on Thursday afternoon and he was able to come out Saturday morning to look at my dryer and dishwasher. He had all the parts for the dryer and had it taken apart and put back together in just over an hour. He then looked at the dishwasher and found the problem right away that two teams that were sent out from Sears home warranty didn't spot or fix. He had that done in about 15 minutes and was on his way. Great quality work, very professional, and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be calling him in the future if needed. read more

Eric called when he was on his way and was able to repair my dryer and get me back to doing laundry within just an hour. He had all the parts on his truck to make the necessary repairs.
