It was chilly outside so it was a nice surprise when the young lady asked if we wanted to sit by the fireplace. Yes, please!! It was so comfy and warm right there. Our waitress came right over and was so sweet and attentive. I ordered their morning glory burger with the salsa on the side and a salad, and the hubby ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The wait was short and the food was excellent! They forgot to put the salsa on the side for my burger, but it was very good anyway. I'm really starting to enjoy burgers with eggs on them. The salad was enormous! I thought they made a mistake and brought me a $10.00 salad, but no. It was so huge I couldn't finish it, which was a shame because it was so delicious. My hubby said that his was the best burger he's had in a very long time. We were able to leave quickly after finishing our meal since the waitresses carry portable card readers with them and they check you out right at the table which is so very convenient. When we're back next year for Scarefest we will keep Drake's on our radar!

First time at this location. Came on an NFL football Sunday afternoon after hitting Keeneland. I…read morethought the parking situation was super confusing. Do they really need six parking spots in the adjacent lot dedicated to take out? Upon arrival, there was a sign directing us to choose our own seating. There was a decent crowd, but the place was not packed. We sat near the bar. We waited a pretty good amount of time before anyone touched our table. For that reason I deducted one star from the review. The food was very good. The crab Rangoon roll hit the spot. Fried pickles were a very generous portion. Buffalo mini bites with fries were also good. Fantastic ranch. The waiter did spill some ranch on his finger and then proceeded to lick it off. That was a bit strange.

You have got to try their fish! Its buttery goodness is cooked perfectly and their baked potatoes don't fall short on flavor! Their chicken sandwich is crispy and tasty. I did ask for a menu, but there appeared to be four or five different menus, which was confusing and not clearly explained at the door. Once our host arrived, we were seated. For anyone wondering about the atmosphere--it's casual and relaxed. Our server, Kelly (if I'm remembering her name correctly), was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. She brought out our Smoked Chestnut Old Fashioned, along with the appetizers: spinach artichoke dip and carpaccio. Everything was delicious, and the cocktail was smooth, aromatic, and nicely balanced with a smoky finish. The bread service was also a nice touch. For my entrée, I ordered the 5 oz steak with crab and elote. The steak itself was cooked perfectly--right on temperature, tender, and flavorful. The elote was served separately in a white bowl, as shown in the photo, and was enjoyable on its own. What I didn't understand was the "crab" component, which turned out to be a deep-fried sushi roll. That pairing alongside a steak felt unexpected, and the overall plate composition and presentation didn't quite come together for me. That said, this may simply be a difference in perspective. I personally place a strong emphasis on plate presentation and cohesion, and Malone's may focus more on comfort and execution than visual refinement. Overall: Excellent service, a great cocktail, and a perfectly cooked steak. While the rest of the plate wasn't what I expected, the experience was still enjoyable.

Everyone is so nice, welcoming and attentive, it's hard not to come back. Everything we've ordered has been excellent, personally I usually get their surf and turf combinations that come with a good amount of bread and sides. Their cocktails are fancy and well served but the only one I have liked is the pixie stick one. The beer is also great, and so is their dessert. This is definitely the place you want to have a date at, the ambiance is lovely. Overall 10/10!

Apps include asparagus fries, beef carpaccio, calamari, crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail, shellfish tower, spinach and artichoke dip, hot baked lump crab dip, and fried chicken tenders. We had the lump crab dip and it was indeed hot, savory, rich, and cheesy. Pretty good for this far off the coast. They also have a large sushi collection. A large salad selection as well: steakhouse, blue cheese and apple, caesar, salmon spinach, Thai chicken, kale and quinoa, California Cobb, and Malone's Lexingtonian (mixed greens, bacon, tomato, creamy herb dressing). Large seafood selection, including blue crab linguini, fried fish, chilean seabags, grilled salmon piccata, Atlantic salmon, fried shrimp. They also have chicken linguini, alfredo, pan seared chicken, wraps, and burgers. They have a large selection steaks, including prime center cut sirloin, filet mignon (various sizes), Manhattan strip, and more. I had the 8 oz filet mignon, medium. Cooked perfectly. Perfectly seasoned and tender. The fries were super hot and crispy, well seasoned. The bottomless Lexingtonian salad (we each had one plate, that's it) was creamy and cold, but nothing special. Service was wonderful. They also have an extensive cocktail menu with several delicious cocktails. We tried several and enjoyed each one. Everything from savory to refreshing. They had some sweet options as well, but we didn't opt for those. Great crowd pleaser of a restaurant.
