Love the long standing coffee hut in Winchester! They make a great honey latte and are reasonably priced, although I've noticed a small increase. The chocolate covered coffee bean is the best treat and their loyal cards are fantastic!! They are not quick so do not anticipate moving fast and do add extra time to your schedule if you intend to come here. Such a great place and community resourse. This establishment has been around for years with owners who have been actively involved in the community. The employees are always super friendly. It is always busy at the Daily Grind. I do not see how the employees do it. Typically you may wait about 7 to 10 minutes on a typical Saturday to get up to the front of the line. I am unsure of weekday lines as Saturday is my day to stop by. I just get a regular coffee while my wife gets an iced coffee or something else more fancy. I will try some of her drink and have always enjoyed both my coffee and her selection as well! Small town, drive-thru coffee shop. The few times I've been to Winchester were for band competitions, and finding this was like I struck gold--delicious coffee at a reasonable price! Very unique flavors especially for the holidays, and they even include a chocolate-covered espresso bean at your disposal. The staff are always very kind and efficient at their jobs. As someone new to the Lexington area but currently based in Winchester, the daily grind has been my source of coffee! I love their drive thru innovation and easy ordering. Their prices are really low and the coffee/tea products are so yummy. Their reward system is great! I usually grab an earl gray tea every morning. They've learned my order and almost always have it ready. I enjoy it more than Starbucks and I know I'm supporting a local business. It is conveniently placed near Kroger and gas stations! read more

I've been coming here since shortly after I first moved to Kentucky around 2013. With my job I travel a lot and hands down The Daily Grind has the best coffee from anywhere I've been in the country and abroad. It's nothing fancy just a drive thru coffee shop but their coffee is amazing from a plain old cup to a latte to one of their frozen coffee drinks. Every cup comes with a chocolate covered espesso bean on top. My only regret is I don't live closer so I don't get to come here daily but whenever I get the craving for something delicious I certainly make the drive out to Winchester for my favorite cup of coffee. read more

But you are going to have the freshest coffee around! Plan to wait about 5 minutes. But your options are plentiful here. Use that time you're waiting on the car in front of you to peruse their extensive menu. Don't see something you want or like? Tell the workers what you're wanting and they'll either make it or offer you an excellent alternative! They're not afraid to experiment, and its always good. Their mochas are delicious, with just the right amount of flavoring. Their cinnamon chai is also delicious! This is a good cup of coffee, but they are a bit slow. Starbucks is losing out by not putting a full service restaurant in Winchester near the interstate, but this little drive through coffee shop. Don't expect to go inside because this is a very low overhead operation, it's basically a storage building being used to make and serve coffee out of. read more
