The grass we received was not shade tolerant and quickly started thinning out. They said we didn't water it enough. It was watered plenty. We know how to take care on fresh grass, the other is flourishing. After several calls and many gallons of water the grass barely came up this year. Where it's in the sun it looks fine, but in the shade it's almost completely dead. Just know your sod because if you're trusting them it may not work out for you and they won't even attempt to make it right.

This company is disorganized with a big lack of communication. After voicing my dissatisfaction…read morewith the customer service to an employee, the owner called to tell me he "DOESN'T GIVE A F***" if I post a review, so here we are. They started on our fence a week early without telling us they moved us up in the schedule. We came home to our fence completely torn down and upset neighbors that had no warning. They would tell us they were coming to work on certain days and wouldn't show up. We'd have to call several different times to try and figure out what was going on. They also did a shoddy job in a corner and when we pointed out there was a big gap, the owner nailed a board on top as the solution (pic attached). We are now paying a contractor additional money to do the job right. I had planned to ignore the above issues and not give anyone a hard time. I recognize that things get busy sometimes and stuff happens. What finally led me to post a review was that phone call from the owner. Some of the pickets were bad and rotting and I told the owner that there were 3 I could see that were bad, but there may be bad ones on the neighbors sides as well. Our fence is getting stained next week and the pickets needed to be replaced before then. When his employee called from our house, I reiterated the above issue to him and that there may be additional bad pickets we couldn't see. The employee told me he was there just to replace 3 pickets and I'd need to call the owner again. That's when I let the employee know I was unhappy and immediately got a very aggressive call from the owner. Even if my request to check additional pickets was asking too much and they had to refuse, I would have at least hoped to be treated with some level of professionalism. After dropping thousands on a fence, we were very disappointed with how we were ultimately treated. Even without that last interaction, the overall experience felt disorganized and stressful.

Technician said there were some clearance issues and "fixed" them. 7 months later after some good summer rains, we noticed mold on the wall behind pictures we had hanging. They cut through the flashing and tar paper around the chimney and didn't say anything. After contacting them, they decided to fix what they screwed up. Ended having to remove a section of drywall about 6ft wide floor to ceiling, all the insulation and some of the studs due to mold build up and excessive moisture still present. The insulation was poorly installed which I fixed and the studs they replaced were not lined up and wasn't discovered until after my drywall guy finished it up. The new mantle top in the picture is straight. I did my best with the rest of the repairs since I could no longer trust Shane's. It's almost to the point of legal action especially since they kept trying to push back. Find someone else.
