I arranged for two different estimates for my elderly mother-in-law. We live in Arizona and she lives in Texas. It is hard to trust a company not to take advantage of an elderly person when not present with them. My mother-in-law got a quick and on time quote, and a fair quote, from A Cut Above, but she wanted two estimates. The second estimate was quite a bit higher!! It wasn't just about price. We felt confident that A Cut Above would do the job right even at a lesser price!! They were very professional!! They are also licensed, bonded and insured. The small jobs are just as important to them as the big jobs!! They do big and small jobs with care and concern, and they left the area cleaned up beyond expectation!! There were many dead branches hanging over the house that also impacted the neighbor's. A dead tree was removed too. I called, they came that very hour and gave an estimate. The work was done the next day. They even cleaned up the dead branches stacked from before. I have dealt with them before after a storm and I received the same great service (2 years ago). We have called and called and they do NOT return our calls. Why they put the tree trunk parts on MY side of the alley I DO NOT KNOW! The pieces are huge and the city will not haul them off.... understandably so. Elite uses shameful tactics and I do NOT recommend anyone using them. They are swindlers. It will cost us hundreds of dollars to have them removed and it wasn't even OUR TREE!This website requires that I leave a rating. They do not deserve even one star. They are crooks.

I was asked to come out & inspect the trees, then they did the extra I pointed out to them. The bid they gave was honored. They raked and cleaned the yard leaving it better than when they arrived. I certainly would use Elite again if I needed landscaping to be done.
