By chance, I saw someone who was walking worse than I was. She had vein surgery and improved dramatically. I see that Riverchase is now employing Dr. Ward as its vein specialist. I received a thorough exam using the most up-to-date machines, and after the exam, I made an appointment to see Dr. Ward. He looked over my results and told me he could fix at least 80% of my pain. These surgeries are performed in the office. I felt minor pain but nothing else. I had to have two procedures on my leg to fix the problem. Three days after the last operation, I could start walking again. I have minor pain that is more than likely due to where the surgery took place than any other problems.
