I have never been treated so rudely by any medical establishment in my life! I questioned what they…read morewere asking me to pay and I was told I couldn't because it was disrespectful towards Dr Brock? Not to mention the rude receptionist she mispronounced my name and when I corrected her she said "whatever ". I'm still in disbelief that people in a doctors office would be so unprofessional.

Very good eye dr. Before he put the lens in he put some liquid in my eye and had me rest my chin on the chin holder and look into this area where he had a light and I think A bluish color light too and he saw where I had the injury. He wrote a prescription to get some antibiotic drops to help my eye. He gave us an RX card to help with the price when picking up the prescription. He had trouble putting the contact bandage in my eye due to me and my reflexes where going all crazy, I guess I don't like people messing with my eyes. Haha. I told the doc he has a lot of patience for me haha. I said if I was in his shoes I would have knocked me out so I could put it in with out trouble. Haha. But anyways he got the job done and my eye feels a lot better. I had to go back the next day so he could take out the bandage contact lens he put in and it was a $30 outta pocket price. He took it out and put some solution in my eye and asked me to move my eye around and tell him how I felt. Felt all better. And I was good to go. He was a very kind dr. And we had great conversation. Oh and I gotta tell y'all how I injured my eye! I was weed whacking and something flew up and hit me right in the dang eye ball! No I didn't have eye protection on. Stupid on my part. I didn't have anything, so lesson learned after the injury I said I'm going over to Home Depot to purchase some eye glasses for protection. And that's what I did. Now every time I'm working on something in the back yard I have those suckers on protecting my eyes. Had to learn the hard way, but hey lesson learned. Thank u for ur help Doc. :

My 80-year-old mother, who lives solely on Social Security, went to the Retina Group of Washington…read more(under Prism Vision Group) for a routine retina injection. They gave her a top-of-the-line injection that cost over $15,000 -- and never disclosed the price beforehand. No estimate. No financial discussion. No explanation of what her insurance would cover. Just a surprise bill and a "hardship form" handed to me after the fact. When I confronted the office, they claimed she signed a disclosure form. Let's be clear: she was at a retina clinic being treated for an eye disease. Expecting an elderly, visually impaired patient to fully understand a dense billing release without someone walking her through the costs is disgraceful. This is not informed consent -- it's financial ambush. It is absolutely unethical to take advantage of vulnerable seniors this way. Shame on Prism Vision Group and any physician who allows this to happen in their office. If you have elderly parents, demand full cost transparency up front -- or go somewhere else. Seniors deserve better than being treated like billing targets.
