Cuties Lemonade & More - Strawberry lemonade with umbrella

    Cuties Lemonade & More

    (21 reviews)

I was at the Arizona State University West Valley Campus for a festival this past weekend, and I…read moresaw several food trucks including the Cuties Lemonade & More truck. As I wasn't feeling like dinner but can ALWAYS go for a nice, refreshing lemonade, I thought I'd give it a try. The staff seemed friendly, and they were very quick at preparing the drinks; however, what was advertised on the website didn't exactly seem like what I had received, though it was still tasty. Cuties Lemonade & More has 31 lemonade cocktails and 6 lemonade slushies. I saw that the strawberry lemonade includes Puréed Clancy Strawberries infused with Meyer Lemons sweetened with granulated sugars. It is gluten free, vegetarian, organic, and vegan. While the drink I received looked red with lemons in it and an umbrella on top (and was huge!), I was disappointed not to see any strawberries in it like in the photos of it. I would certainly still consider getting a lemonade from them again, though I was very excited about "pureed strawberries infused with lemons." The story of Cuties Lemonade & More is that of an everyday family that continually gives to the community and doesn't want to stop. The company is a food truck and trailer that serves a variety of REAL fruit-flavored lemonades across Phoenix. Every glass is made-to-order, carefully measured, and fully fresh, according to their website. While I would have liked to have seen the strawberries in the lemonade, I certainly saw fresh lemons with the flavor, pulp, and seeds. In the words of Cuties Lemonade & More, "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Make Lemonade.:" I look forward to trying it again soon!

I think it took me a few mins to review the menu before I could decide on my order. You can order from the kiosk or order in person at the window. IF your in a rush they have also have a good amount of stock in the fridge ready to go too! I ended up getting the watermelon lemonade and it was superbbb!!

They have beauty products, stationary, toys, party goods, personal care, and more. They carry licensed products of some famous brands like Disney and Sanrio (creator of Hello Kitty). Most of the items are plastic and inexpensive. The store itself is laid out in several dozen aisles that are easy to find thanks to simple store signage. The store is glitzed in LED bright white light and their bright pink paint. They don't have too many workers around so you'll likely need to find the stuff yourself. They also usually only have one cashier and encourage the self-checkout. Overall, this is a neat store to peruse if you've never been in one. It's a great place for some starter kitchen and dishware for college students or young adults. Kids will love a lot of items in here as well.

Customer service was great and checkout was super fast . It's a fun time and you'll for sure end up buying more than what you came there for.

I initially…read morefound Changing Hands through their Phoenix location which needs a separate review of its own. Both locations have their own unique layout, so you can't even compare them. There is so much to appreciate. This one feels a bit more spacious and I found myself in the store for 2 hours just taking my time looking through the aisles. Immediately upon walking in, I was enamored by their setup and selection of books. They have every genre you can think about. Some sections that caught my eye: a dedicated kids' section and a spot for when special guests come. They're also connected to Wildflower so you can come before or after a sip and bite. Changing Hands is so special because they care about community and also support second hand! Staff is eager to help you out and guide you if you have a specific book in mind. You can bring your well loved books in return for store credit and they're quite generous with the credit. They'll take your books depending on the condition and if they need stock for that book. The cherry on top- I love that I'm supporting a local bookstore. And you even get a stamp card with a discount once you've gotten it all stamped out. Their prices are also affordable, and you can choose from new or used books which is nice. Most of their used books are in pristine condition. I support Changing Hands through and through and am so glad I ran across this bookstore. If you're a book lover, you need to go!

I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.

Way Past Due for a Review, But…read more... I've been taking my fur babies, Marty & Luci, to Smelly Dog for 7 + years and I've always had a pleasant experience. They have always had outstanding communication in answering calls, returning vm's, texting when ready for pickup after a groom. I like that they seem to be able to fit in my fur babies, sometimes on short notice. I will highlight my most recent experience in taking our newest addition, Lulu, for her second groom. Lulu had one previous groom here when she was 5 months old and this would be her second groom at 6 months old. We were unsure how she would react in coming in for the groom, since I know she wasn't easy on her first go around. But, to our delight she was wagging her little nub of a tail and excited, and I relieved. We weren't able to achieve a little top knot sitch for her on her first groom because she couldn't sit still enough. This was something I really hoped we could achieve on this 2nd groom. So, when Ty greeted us we went over length, face shape and a top knot, please! Ty was very warm, patient and most importantly calm cuz our little Lulu can so fidgety and high energy! We felt we left her in the best hands, but due to her high energy and degree of difficulty sometimes with being still, still unsure of what to expect. When I received a ready for pickup text notification, we headed over to pick up our lil fur baby. When she was brought out and we laid eyes on her, I was beyond happy to see Ty's work of art! She looked absolutely precious, top knot and all! We couldn't have been more grateful to all the staff, and it's reassuring that Lulu, telling us with her little nub, feels the same
