My fiancé and I were put in a difficult situation when we had to let go of our previous…read morephotographer for our wedding just a couple months before the big event. We looked at several photographers and what felt like hundreds of galleries. When we were down to our final four, it was hard for us to make a firm decision, as we were cautious due to the previous bad experience that we had just gone through with the other photographer. Then my fiancé told me "so no to JoJo or did you like her stuff"? I was like. "Who is JoJo? I've never seen Jojo's photos". It gets a little confusing when you're looking at several images, to keep them all straight. Immediately after seeing Joanna's photos, our top 4 got tossed to the side and we knew at that moment we found our photographer :) We spoke on the phone with Joanna and she was super friendly and had answers to all of our questions, and had more to share with us that we didn't think of. We met Joanna at Knights Ferry for our engagement shoot, which is a must (very cool place that she suggested). Joanna was the sweetest person and, this time It felt to us like we were with a real professional. She was constantly helping us get into position, making sure hair wasn't in my fiancé's face. Making sure the lighting was just right before snapping shots. She was in her element, and we couldn't be happier with how this session went! After we parted ways. We were biting our nails waiting to see what we would get in our gallery (after the last disaster with the previous photographer) lol but when that email hit, we stopped what we were doing and went through every image and a huge weight was lifted. Jane saved my wedding. One of the top priorities of my wedding planning was to make sure that I…read morewould have the night captured, after all, we did spend so many hours planning the event! Jane did such a great job, that I am now having a really hard time figuring which photos I want to print and frame because I have over a handful of potential photos for each frame! If I had it my way, I would print them all out and show them all off because they are all so beautiful, but then our house would look like a shrine of our wedding! Jane and her assistant also dressed very professionally at the wedding. I have been to weddings where the photographer looked like they just rolled out of bed, or that their clothes are so absurd that they stick out like a sore thumb. Jane was wearing a cute and semi-dressy outfit where she almost fit in with the wedding. I think this is personally a huge touch. Her personality was great and very responsive with her emails. She had me print out a list of what pictures I definitely wanted and she didn't skip a beat on any of them. She was great! Picking a photographer is always a little scary, but you can't go wrong with Jane, you will be just as happy with her as I am!

What can I say about Rose and Tim that accurately captures my experience with them? I've been…read morepondering this for a few weeks as I've worked on my ability to talk about my dog without having a breakdown. I initially reached out because my sister wanted to gift me with some professional photos of me and my soul dog, Champ, for Christmas. Rose responded to my inquiry almost immediately and we were taking about arranging a time for the shoot when Champ, at the age of 16, suddenly took a turn for the worse. I tearfully let Rose know that Champ wasn't going to make it to the weekend. The vet and I could only really count on making him comfortable for one night so that my Mom could be there for us as he went to sleep. Rose and Tim found time in their schedule to fit us in early. When they arrived it was like welcoming friends into my home and Champ was happy to see them and work with them as best he could in his condition. They were warm, kind, and understanding. Their warmth kept me from having a breakdown during the shoot and they caught some beautiful pictures of my best boy that really captured what a sweet soul he was. I will forever be grateful for these two. I have beautiful pictures that have been such a comfort while I'm grieving the loss of my best friend. I can't recommend these two enough. What impressed me is their ability to scout fun locations, as well as putting in time to get to know a recommended site. And funny!
