His work really speaks for itself but here's my review anyway: SHOOTS IN FILM: I honestly didnt know what this meant or why this was good but upon seeing the actual pictures I realized that the film ones' colors really popped and made the pictures that much more beautiful. Apparently most photographers who shoot in film charge a kazillion x the price so I count myself lucky for finding a film photographer in my budget. GIVES GREAT DIRECTION: My now-husband and I were worried we had no idea how to pose and didn't have a list of prepared poses going in but daniel was great at telling us exactly where to stand, where to put our hands, etc. and made us feel super comfortable throughout the session. PROFESSIONAL: He's super accommodating and flexible. He's also very honest-Being the crazy indecisive bridezilla, I of course waited until the last week before I asked him to add more hours to our agreed upon contract for the wedding day (and of course pay a little extra for the additional time). Day of, he tells me he re-read the contract and apparently the hours were already included and I didn't owe him anything! Not only was that a great wedding day surprise but he was super honest about the whole thing and could've easily just accepted the check. So.. on top of being talented and nice, he's just an awesome person all around. :) Sidenote: He lives in AZ but it was still totally worth flying him out for engagement shoot and wedding in the bay area. He's done a lot out here so it felt like he knew the area better than we did when it came to choosing a shoot site!

We searched Yelp and found him with all good reviews which made us decide to go to him for these very important pictures. The results are very disappointing! Jon seems to be a friendly person, except that in the beginning he tried to deny a Yelp deal that we purchased, as he claimed the deal is for family photos only, which was NOT said in the deal description when we purchased. Anyhow he accepted the deal we bought eventually. However, it turned out to be a terrible experience. First of all, his studio is in his house, or maybe more specifically, in his garage. Certainly it is not fun to take a one-hour-photo-shoot at such a place when the temperature is over 100 outside and there is limited air-conditioning in the garage. He had to use a fan trying to make it cooler. But most importantly, his technique is not very impressive at all. My green dress turned out to be blue in my photos! The skin tone of my face in the pictures turned out to be uneven, despite the fact I was put on make-up by professional beauty artist. Also, his so-called touch-ups of the pictures are awful, that he didn't even try to take the shines on my face away! --- As a matter of fact, I don't think those pictures we purchased have been touched up at all! I am not sure if he is good at taking family pictures as other claimed in the reviews, but if you go for professional head-shots, I won't recommend him at all. It will be a total waste of your money and time!

The film style gives every photo it's own unique vibe that could not be captured with a digital camera and his eye for fine art is clear in every photo. Even though it ended up pouring rain on our outdoor wedding and things were chaotic for a bit Mark was able to quickly adapt and capture unique shots in the midst of the craziness. He was always extremely professional and took the time prior to and after the wedding to go over details. I'm in love with every photo and look forward to reliving my wedding through them for years to come.

He far exceeded my expectations! I let him know what my signature dishes were and he made extra care to make sure those dishes had special highlights as the stars of the show. He came with awesome backdrop as well as some sort of machine that you set the dish on and it rotates around in a circle so he can get all angles and profiles of my dishes. Less than a week later, he called me with all of the photos edited and he even threw in bonus video footage that will be super useful on social media. I highly recommend Marty Mac Moore Studios.

I wanted a very laid-back shoot with more of a lifestyle feel than super posed, and that's exactly what Buck delivered. We did the shoot in our home with a mixture of shots in our bedroom, the nursery, and some outdoor photos and I have to tell you that at 8 months pregnant it was pretty difficult for me to feel beautiful at that point, but after getting the photos back I felt more beautiful and feminine than I ever have. We knew after that experience with Buck that we also wanted him to do our newborn shoot when our daughter Charlotte was born. We wanted it to be the same kind of laid back feel and again did it in our home. This time he brought his wife with him to help with the "styling" and posing of our baby girl. Let.me.tell.you. She is a freaking baby whisperer. She showed us a technique for getting Charlotte to sleep that we still use today 7 months later! Once again, the photos turned out absolutely beautifully and will be photos that I will cherish forever. Buck is now our family photographer. I don't think we will ever use anyone else - I'm actually planning on reaching out to him again in the next few weeks to book Charlotte's one year photos and our Christmas photos (Buck, if you're reading this, be expecting my call shortly!). We can't recommend him enough, he is so incredibly talented and has a way of making you comfortable and relaxed through the whole process - something that I think is the secret ingredient for being a stellar photographer.
