So, naturally, Stacey and I were somewhat apprehensive and nervous about both our engagement and wedding photos. However, our photography sessions with Lisa D. Photography remain some of the most memorable and fun experiences we had during the planning and the actual day. Lisa took care of every detail and left the experience completely stress free. Stacey and I had so much fun during our sessions! Lisa is the kind of person you immediately love being around and feel like you are with a friend you've had for years. Add this to her out-of-this-world professionalism, organization, creativity, excitement and talent and you have a photographer unlike any other! She is very familiar with all areas of the valley and can make great recommendations for locations to take the photos. She traveled the distance to our wedding day venue weeks before the wedding to get ideas and inspiration for the wedding day. We are so grateful that we found Lisa! For any special moment that we want to capture in the future, we will most definitely use Lisa D. Photography. Lisa features her sessions on her blog and not only captures the moment with the photos but also is a great wordsmith - providing such an awesome narrative of our day! He has a way of making you feel like you have been friends for years and making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He hypes you up the whole time to get authentic smiles and reactions. I was referred to Jonathan from our wedding vendor. I lived in Iowa and was planning a wedding in Arizona, so I welcomed all recommendations when it came to vendors, and I was not disappointed. Jonathan spent a good half hour on the phone with me before I even booked with him explaining to me his process, his goals on your big day and I could immediately tell he loved what he did and was so genuine. I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan three times before our actual wedding date. He did our engagement session and that was when I knew I made the right choice. He was open to all suggestions and provided me with me ideas, as well. The next time I got to see Jonathan was when we realized that my bachelorette party was in the same place, he had family. He came and took photos of my bachelorette party; he took time out of his vacation with his family to come capture such an amazing trip. I 10/10 recommend hiring Jonathan to take pictures of your bachelorette party. ALL THE GIRLS loved him and again he made everyone feel so comfortable and gorgeous. He is so fun loving, and we wanted to him just hang out with us the rest of the trip! He then came and took pictures at our rehearsal dinner and once again just WOWED all our friends and family! And then came the wedding day... once again Jonathan did not disappoint. He put up with all my bridal parties' crazy ideas and was happy to make all our visions come true. Jonathan once again made us feel like the only two people in the room, but also did not interfere with any of our moments. I cannot say enough amazing things about this super talented photographer, and you will not be disappointed with hiring Jonathan to capture your big moments.

He had a great energy on our first meeting with him and totally flexible about our plans for engagement and wedding venues. We are totally jealous that he is so flexible to be able to travel for work and play, but he gets amazing photos nationwide. Unseasonably warm day in Dallas, he's on it. Triple digits in Phoenix after rescheduling due to the pandemic, he's on it. I'm sure an active hurricane or tornado would have been more unpleasant working conditions, but you wouldn't have known it from watching Jonathan work. I don't blame anyone who didn't want to deal with those conditions, but it was just another day at the office for him. He is likely a kinder and more generous person than he even is a world-class photographer, but we're here for the "pics or it didn't happen crowd". You're paying for a photographer but you basically get a best friend for the biggest day of your life for free. No headaches, super responsive, he gets photos back to you when he says he will and he worked nonstop on our wedding day. Like bro, I am so tired, you must be exhausted, nope like an energizer Bunny with a couple of cameras. Definitely the MVP of our wedding and we are so grateful. I wish I needed more things photographed just because he was that wonderful to work with. I am sure lots of people can advertise that they will give you a set of pictures that look nice, but I can't imagine anyone else doing so while essentially being part of the bridal party and a lifelong friend in the process.
