I can not even begin to express how thankful I am that I made this purchase. First off Leanna is just incredible!! Honestly the mentor of my dreams. The amount of crazy bad*** energy and creativity in this woman's mind is amazing. Whatever you are worried about going in to the session... being too skinny, too big, too whatever. She's going to prove you wrong in the first shot. You don't have to he worried about not knowing what to do she will tell you trust me. My hair and makeup artist was so sweet and did the best job I have been having a difficult year on my healing journey and needed a pick me up. Omg I got that and so much more! The way I feel when I look at these photos and just knowing they exist is worth every penny and more! This is definitely going to have to be a yearly event. After seeing a bunch of Leanna's other work I will be using her whenever I need a photographer. I had a boudoir photo shoot for my 40th birthday and LOVED every second of it. Leanna made me feel very welcome from the start. Based on the the items I bought for the photo shoot, she was able to get an idea of my personality. Her vision was spot on. She quickly put together ensembles explaining her vision and why. After taking over 100 photos, I was afraid I would be overwhelmed by having to narrow them down but she structured it in a way that made it easy to digest and shockingly, by the end. Amazing Experience!! Lorri did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup. Leanna is an EXPERT at posing and photographing!! It was FUN--I felt beautiful and sexy!!! She had me do some topless photos which I initially was not comfortable with but they turned out GREAT! She took 102 photos and after the shoot, we looked at the proofs. I'm a very indecisive person and although we narrowed it down to about 16 photos, I was still unsure. The photo packages are NOT inexpensive and I wanted more time to examine the photos. I did a boudoir session with Leanna for my partner's birthday gift. The day of the session I was super nervous and worried about how the day would progress. I'm terrible in front of a camera and have my fake smile down pat. Leanna immediately made me feel comfortable. She looked at all the clothes & options I brought with me and was able to work them all in. In hindsight, I wish I would have brought more because it turned out to be super fun. With her creativity she can turn any mundane prop in to something sexy. When I went to pick up the finished product from Leanna, I got tears in my eyes. She made me look and feel beautiful all over again. When I gave the book to my boyfriend for his birthday, he was super surprised. About half way through the book, he turned to me and said "Who did these pictures? They were able to get the real you, the real smile, and the real person. That's rare and she's a keeper." I Cannot say enough wonderful things about Leanna. I will preface by saying I have never ever ever ever liked a photo of myself, not even my wedding pics. I bought a groupon for boudoir photo session on a whim. I thought of nothing else, I will get my hair and makeup done and feel good that day. This photographer is simply fantastic. I had a studio appointment in February and I loved the pictures so much I hired Leanna for a reception in April. Before I had even decided to hire her, Leanna talked to me on the phone for nearly an hour, making sure she knew what I wanted and giving helpful advice. She always returned my calls and emails (and never seemed irritated when my computer sent duplicates.) In the studio, the makeup and hair artist was friendly and did a great job. I felt like a beautiful model. Leanna made me feel totally comfortable, and it was immediately obvious she knew exactly how to get the results she wanted. I didn't have to sift through hundreds of photos to find the good ones, she took a conservative amount and they were ALL good. Then she edited them to make me look even better. The pictures of the reception turned out great. It was at the airport, and Leanna knew exactly how to use the unusual space and aircraft. The images came in a customized box with the best photo on the front. I love that! And prices are super reasonable for someone so experienced. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. A friend and I decided to have boudoir photos taken in honor of our 25th birthdays (while we still look good, as she put it). We were a little nervous, but everyone we encountered made us feel comfortable at every step of the way. We had hair and makeup done by a makeup artist who works with Leanna, and she did a beautiful job. Leanna is a no-nonsense, blunt sort of lady. I enjoyed her a lot, and quickly identified her sense of humor. She is clearly very talented and knows what she's doing with a camera. We spent about 4 hours with her, (90 minute shoot each, then reviewing proofs) and we felt very comfortable the whole way through. We told Leanna there was no rush or "deadline" in getting our finished albums, and she said it would be about 3 weeks. It was closer to a month before I got the call that it was ready, so if you're antsy, be sure to give a date. I LOVE the finished product, and the whole process was so much fun I'm looking for another excuse to do it. It isn't cheap... plan on spending a few hundred dollars...(she made me look so good I couldn't stop buying pictures!) and if someone told me they could do it for less I'd be suspicious. In 2012 I committed to take better care of myself. I changed my diet and joined a boxing gym. By Jan 2013 I felt transformed and better about myself than ever before. I decided to reward myself with Boudoir pictures! I saw numerous groupons and living social deals for several photographers around the valley. I chose Leanna first because I felt most comfortable being photographed by a woman and the living social deal was great. $99 for the shoot, hair/make-up and 1 8X10. My hair and make-up was done by an associate of Leanna's and it was incredible. I have never felt so beautiful! Leanna was so much fun. We had a similar sense of humor and I felt comfortable right away. Before I knew it I was out of my lingerie and taking pictures I had never thought I would be able to. The shoot even ran long and I never felt rushed. Now, to be honest- you're going to want A LOT more pictures than one free 8X10. I wasn't prepared to spend as much as I did (and they are not cheap), but let me tell you- they are worth every penny. I ordered a "little black book," leather bound with about 30 shots. Cut into my savings, but when the finished product came- holy cow. I was stunned- and my man was pretty pleased himself ;) This was a once in a lifetime experience and I look forward to going through my book decades from now and remembering my 20s. Leanna had an entirely arrogant, unprofessional and unpleasant attitude making me step back. Leanna is the most professional, artistic, skilled photographer we have ever hired. To add to that, we have always felt that we are getting a great value when we've hired her to photograph our family. Leanna has been our family photographer since November 2012 when she photographed our newborn, 6 day old son at our home. During that session she also photographed the rest of our family, which includes my husband and daughter. We were so pleased with the photos that we have hired her to photograph our family twice a year since then. We will be having a session with her this coming May 2015 for a total of 6 sessions. I decided to have photos taken for my boyfriend's birthday. After searching the internet, I found Leanna and was impressed by the photo gallery on her website. She was quick to respond to emails and provided me with all of the information I requested. I was incredibly nervous about the whole situation, but Leanna is so dang funny and sassy that you can't help but enjoy yourself. Throughout the session, she stops to show you various photographs so you get a sense of what you are actually looking like. She takes all the time you need and you feel like the center of attention. After a short break following the photo session, she then sits down and goes through each photograph with you to see which you would like. It really was an awesome experience. I have always wanted to have the photo shoot experience since I read about it as a teenager in Glamour magazine back in the day! I wasn't getting younger (I was turning 42 soon) I found Leanna in living social and really went for it since she was a female photographer. I'm so glad I did this experience far exceeded my expectations! Leanna is very laid back, extremely patient, (I have always been a bit shy and critical of myself so I'm sure I was a difficult client) and detail oriented! Laurie her make up/hair artist was also awesome she did my make up and hair with ease in just a few minutes I looked like a GLAMAZON! I can see how these two girls have been collaborating together for 12 years! This experience was awesome on so many levels, it really brought me out of my shell and helped me face years of insecurities and also helping me appreciate myself and love my body all over again! The pictures took a few weeks and when they came in I picked them apart as I tend to, but still ended up buying a portfolio with 30 pictures !
