I will start by saying the office experience is very pleasant, warm and welcoming. All the ladies are extremely sweet. I have been waiting for my surgery for 6 years and have had 4 different consults. I was recommended to Dr Marrioti by a friend and decided to choose him as I had a warm feeling of trust and confidence from him, straight to the point personality. I was going in for tummy tuck, breast aug and lift. Before going into surgery I had a risk of blood clotting after surgery (not positive but was a new health risk for me) and Dr Marrioti took every precaution possible and answered every question with no hesitation. Sure enough I ended up with a PE (blood clot in lung) a few days later. Let me tell you, this doctor is the sweetest man including his wife Deb. These two came and visited me in the hospital after a long weekend of vacationing and drove all the way to see me in my hometown late night. Who in the world does that??!!! They both truly care about the patients that come through their office. He has been amazing since I've been recovering and making sure that I end up happy with my results. My money has been well spent here and I'm glad I chose him. I don't think I would have had the same experience with any other doctor. Dr. Mariotti performed a breast reduction and removal of ruptured implants on my 44H size breasts in 2013. I had breast augmentation in 1983 going from a 32B (barely) to a 32C with silicon implants. A plastic surgeon in Bremerton, WA did the surgery and did a fabulous job. For years I enjoyed my lovely breasts but in 2005 I began experiencing symptoms from a genetic spinal condition that required orthopedic spinal surgery. Dr. Mariotti had spoken at a seminar I attended for people that had lost large amounts of weight and he was close to where I lived so he seemed like a great solution. I should mention I had been in an auto accident in 2011 in which my chest hit the steering wheel hard enough to cause a dark purple and black bruise about the size of a lemon on one of my breasts. I saw an emergency clinic doctor following the accident and he assured me after an exam that my implants were intact even though I felt strongly that one or both had been compromised based on the way they felt in addition to the bruise. My primary care doc commented at my next annual physical that she thought at least one implant was compromised but upon having a diagnostic Mammogram the radiologist and technician said they could see no sign of compromise but that I should see a plastic surgeon that specialized in breast surgery. It was around that time that Dr. Mariotti spoke to the Bariatric group meeting that I attended at John Muir hospital. At my first consultation Dr. Mariotti was great and he confirmed that it was most likely both my implants were compromised but after that I never saw him again until the actual day of the surgery. Instead I saw his then PA, Sarah, and she was fabulous, answering all my questions and reassuring me that I would still have decent sized breasts following the reduction, after all I had implants for a reason. Dr, Mariotti did the surgery in April 2013 and I have been disfigured since then. He removed 99 percent of my breast tissue and left me with horrible Frankenstein like scars. Plus he reduced my quarter size nipples to the size of dimes. In addition my right nipple and breast has a divet like indentation which causes the nipple to be hideously introverted as well as about an inch of breast extending from the nipple. To top it off, Dr. Marriotti left extensive pockets of fat or breast tissue or implant residue at the sides of my chest wall extending under my armpits which are much larger than my breasts. They look like my breasts have been misplaced to my sides leaving the dime-sized nipples to mark the place where my breasts should be. I can't find nice bras to fit my non-existing breasts because they just don't sell 40A size bras. I have to resort to spandex comfort bras that don't really have cups. They come in small, medium and large. I've had to buy foam or gel inserts to give me any kind of breast shape to fill out clothes. Most grown men have larger breasts than I do. It probably wouldn't be so bad if I were a smaller woman but I am 5'10" and weigh 180 lbs. post surgery I complained to Dr. Mariotti about my minimal breasts and the divet. He assured me that as I lost weight my breasts would look appropriate to my size and the divet would relax after all the swelling went down and that could take as long as a year. He was very brisk and insensitive and nothing like the seemingly kind courteous doctor that I met on my first visit but never saw again despite 4 pre-op appointments during which I only saw his Assistant. At my 6month follow-up Dr. Marriotti was even less interested in my concerns and still claimed that all my issues would resolve when swelling and inflammation diminished. Coming up on 6 years post surgery and I have lost more weight but my poor once-beautiful breasts are flat, misshapen, scarily unattractive and deformed looking. The normal fatty tissue that used to be in my breasts seems to be the fat I lost as I lost weight but strangely, the fat in my side-boobs which are just in front of my armpits have not diminished and are sadly bigger than my actual breasts. Don't go near Dr. Marriotti if you want to keep normal, pretty looking breasts. The before and after photos he might show you are probably out of stock catalogs from breast surgeries done by other surgeons. Oh I must also mention that Dr. Mariotti did a couple of Botox and restalyne injections that I won in a drawing and he had terrible technique, rushing through it and causing a lot of pain. He was completely insensitive and cold and impersonal. Go somewhere that the staff or doctor is friendly, caring and sensitive to your experience, avoid Dr. Mariotti. read more

I had such a great experience with Dr marriotti. I had a Tummy Tuck in 12/2018. I've always been very insecure with my stomach and I never thought I would have or could have a flat stomach. AMAZING JOURNEY So let me start off with I never do reviews but this one I'm gonna make the exception. 8 years ago I decided that I wanted to get a tummy tuck done but I felt I wasn't ready for it yet as I wanted to lose weight and I wasn't sure if I want to keep having more children I came to see Dr. Marriott back then to just get an idea if it was even possible. He gave me all the information I needed and that was it. Let's forward to 2020 when I decided to go ahead and do my consultation. I had made a plan when I would like to schedule my surgery I contacted his office and everybody was super friendly and directed me to the right way of timing to schedule my consultation and surgery according to my plans. All the planning fell perfectly. As a mother of two big babies. My body was destroyed. I am 5' and 94lbs when I had my first baby weighing at 8lbs he destroyed my body and muscles were gone. With my second baby I gain all the weight at 177lbs. I was very depressed and hated the way I looked. So I knew I was ready for this change. I decided to get my tubes tied and lost the weight. I made my consultation. Dr.Marriott has the best bed side matters. I never felt rushed through my consultation. He listened to all my concerns,worries and crazy questions. I felt super confident that I made the right choice. Surgery day comes July 12th and I am a nervous wreck. He reassured me that everything would come out okay. He asked me if I could imagine what I would look like and I told him no. All he said to me was good because you will look better than you think. I couldn't imagine myself without all my skin. Surgery was done and a week later I went back and finally saw myself for the first time hunched but I could see the results already. I couldn't believe it was me. I cried happy happy tears. I love my results so much my confidence is through the roof. I also had lipo on my back. My bellybutton is so so cute. I was a little scared as a read on some Facebook groups other women complaining about theirs but he does amazing bellybuttons. Where do I even begin?? My experience was absolutely amazing! I'm three months post-op from a mommy make-over. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift with silicone implants. Last year, my father was admitted to the hospital due to a femoral artery blood clot. After nearly losing his life, his left leg was in a very bad way, due to Compartment Syndrome. After he was stabilized and removed from ICU at Sutter Delta, he was transferred to John Muir in Concord, where he had the amazing fortune of having Dr. Mariotti and his wonderful assistant, Sarah, as his doctor and Physician Assistant. My father required SEVERAL surgeries on his leg, which resulted in leg muscles needing to be removed due to necrosis. Dr. Mariotti led these surgeries that ended up saving my father's leg. I truly believe if it weren't for the expertise, patience and diligence of this man, my father would have indeed lost his leg. I never thought of myself as one who would even consider cosmetic surgery. I feared looking fake or done over. Having breastfed twins in 2009, however, my once DDD breasts had shrunk to a sagging, unattractive B. They were uncomfortable without a bra and formed two puddles in one. I felt self conscious wearing swim suits or workout tops at the gym. Catching a glimpse of my bare chest in the mirror, I would immediately feel old and worn out. A few women I knew had had breast work done and were pleased with the results. I thought it couldn't hurt to talk to a couple of surgeons about my breasts so I yelped within a 25 mile radius and read lots of reviews. Other cosmetic surgeons had great bedside appeal and wonderful personalities, but few yelpers wrote about the phenomenal surgical results like they did with Dr. Mariotti. Having to wait several weeks for my consultation was the first indication that Dr. Mariotti was as great as his reviews. He and his warm, energetic, and knowledgeable PA, Sarah Kaplan, listened to my concerns and goals and never tried to sell me on cosmetic surgery. I'd seen one cosmetic surgeon locally who had told me I couldn't improve my breasts without having an augmentation. Dr. M proved that was not the case. Four months ago, I had my breast life surgery (without augmentation). Although the recovery was more painful than I imagined, I would go through the entire process again in a heartbeat. (It's important to note that I have an extremely low pain threshold.) I no longer need to wear a bra and my chest looks great in workout tops and swimwear. In October of 2017,​ I started to do my research on Plastic Surgeons in the Bay Area. Even 1 that was in Southern CA. I looked at about 13 doctors profiles, yelps, and looking a before/after pictures of breast augmentations. (Did not want to be on an episode of botched) I narrowed it down to a few doctors and called to schedule consultations. Melissa was the receptionist at Dr. M's office that I initially​ spoke to regarding setting up a consultation. She went above and beyond talking to me about her personal experience with saline and silicone, breastfeeding​, and much more. All consultations were booked out for 2 months. When January​ came around, Melissa knew I was eager and called me to ask if I'd like to come in sooner due to cancellations. I met with Dr. Mariotti and he made the experience​ very comfortable and was very patient with me. He asked me to describe what I wanted and I did, he pulled out a binder full of before and after pictures and showed me something very similar to my before and what it would look like after. He was really good at reading facial expressions when picking out CC's. I also met with Kim, his PA and she answered any unanswered questions I​ had. I decided to commit to​ Dr. M and his team. The flu was going around and they had cancellations for surgeries. I decided to schedule my surgery the same day as my consultation, I​ was that confident with Dr. Mariotti. My Consultation/Pre-op was on 1/10/18 and my surgery was scheduled for 1/15/18. The surgery center is in the same building as Dr. Mariotti's office which made life that much easier. The morning of my surgery I was SUPER nervous. that was the most nerve-wracking​ part... waiting. Once I got situated, Dr. M came back to make marking and I decided last min to go up one size. He was completely fine with my wish. The anesthesiologist​​ he works wit​h is amazing and has a great sense of humor. The surgery was short and easy. ​I went with Silicone, 475CC in the right and 450 CC in the left I have a weak stomach so I did the recovery without pain pills. I had no bruising. The scars are very small. Sleeping was a little uncomfortable. Was back to work and driving in 3 days. Dr. M does not believe in wearing the ugly bandage bra. He recommended no bra for a couple of weeks. VERY happy with my choice. almost 6 months PO, they look very natural and can still wear no bra. Update......as I mentioned before, I am in the medical field and I recently met a CORST (certified operating room surgical technician) that actually works at Premier Surgery Center in Concord where Dr. Mariotti does most of his surgery. Anyway, we were randomly chatting about plastic surgery and I ended up sharing with her my telephone experience with Dr. Mariotti's office and how I wasn't that impressed with the opinions and questionable bad mouthing of other Dr's by his staff. She stated she had no experience with his office staff but that, in her professional opinion, she saw a larger than normal population of Dr. Mariotti's patients with postoperative infections. To the point that she stated "she would never have Dr. Mariotti do her surgery" So, proceed with caution and ask all the pertinent questions. Again, this MD. was recommended to me by a friend who had a decent experience. I was just put off by the phone call with the receptionist and now having heard this info I am glad I chose otherwise. read more

When I was 21 years old, I had struggled for years with my appearance. I was the girl all through high school who wore a sweatshirt to cover the fact I was a triple D. I convinced my mom to go with me to several consultations and every doctor we met I never got the feeling I did until I met Dr. Mariotti and his staff. I felt welcomed, safe and immediately comfortable. Walking in they made you feel like a part of their family! I had my reduction and I felt incredible. I was finally able to wear tank tops and dresses I'd never dare to wear before. Fast forward 10 years and 2 babies later, I struggled with severe diastasis recti... I knew exactly who to call! Dr Mariotti and his staff got me in and set a surgery date. To this day I BOAST to everyone about BOTH surgeries. Never have I had one regret. I feel so much better after my diastasis recti surgery, I am finally going out and doing things with my family instead of staying home and dreading the moments that I need to get dressed up to go somewhere. When you don't feel good about yourself it shows through your day to day life. I noticed I was wearing oversized clothing to hide my buldged stomach, I didn't want to go on vacations with other families or couples because I would sit and compare myself and wonder why none of them had the same struggles. I even had a coworker mistaken me for being pregnant again. Mentally, it was very hard. My husband said a week after my surgery when I was more mobile he immediately saw a difference. I was happier! Though, I was still recovering I was significantly smaller in the stomach. For reference, before, my stomach looked like I was in fact 6 months pregnant. I used to ride horses and for 3 years I haven't been able to wear jeans. Well, last week I was able to put on a pair of jeans for the first time and nearly cried! After gaining and losing over 50 pounds I knew I needed help with my extra skin. Having my tummy tuck and breast lift done by Dr. Mariotti was the best decision I have made in many years. It has been 6 years since my tummy tuck and I still love looking at my stomach and my perfect bellybutton. Dr. Mariotti is a magician with his belly buttons. Believe me when i tell you, they are not all the same with other doctors. It has been one year since my breast lift and again I could not be happier. He did a terrible job on me. He was supposed to fix a breast reduction scar and he made it worse. He flapped the skin over each other and there was skin hanging down under the incision. It's ugly. It was 100% better before he operated on me. He said I'd have to pay for the operating room fee if I wanted him to fix it! Then he offered to fix it "in his office"! Why did I go to the surgery facility in the first place if he can do things like this "in his office"? I would not recommend him or trust him to do the job right and take responsibility for his work afterwards. read more

I was referred to Dr. Mariotti by one of closest friends and six of her friends after the birth of my twins. No matter how much I worked out, I just couldn't do anything about the excess skin and saggy breasts pregnancy left me. From the very first time I walked into Dr. Mariotti's office, I knew he was the one who could help me. His staff is AMAZING, his assistant, Sarah, is one of the sweetest, most caring women I've ever met (she makes you feel like you're old friends), and Dr. Mariotti is simply wonderful! I felt so at ease with him from the very first consultation throughout my procedure and recovery. Any time I had a question, no matter how "silly" I thought it was, Jennifer was always there to help. I had what is typically referred to as a "mommy make-over"; breast lift, breast augmentation and a tummy tuck. Dr. Mariotti is truly a magician with the transformations he performs. I could not be happier with my results and even told my husband the other day that I feel like I have a perfect body! I am very healthy and work out regularly but this make-over was the icing on the cake that my body needed. The recovery was amazing and I was off the pain pills in less than a week. For any woman who's ever had a c-section, a tummy tuck with Dr. Mariotti is WAY easier than a c-section! I would do it all again in a heartbeat! If your looking for a Dr to help you with changing your life, Dr Mariotti is the one for you! I first came to see him in 2004. I was looking for a Dr to fix my breast. I had a lump taken out of my left breast. Which took half of it. I wanted someone who was trained in reconstructive surgery. From the time I walked in until I left I received 1st class service. What impresses me is He will never suggest or perform a procedure which isn't necessary Dr Mariotti is there from start to finish. I have talked and seen other Drs work I believe my Dr is the best! If you live in the Bay Area you are so lucky to have Dr. Eric Mariotti and his staff... if you don't then you should travel like I did! With raving reviews and a referral from a personal friend I decided to dive into the world of 'injectables' (botox, etc) but only with this practice. Dr. Mariotti and his staff answered all my questions and were super patient (to this patient.) So I decided to go for it! In the last two weeks I've traveled overseas to multiple cities... three overnight flights - a truly exhausting schedule. AND YOU CAN'T TELL!
