The staff has been aware for 6+ months regarding my knee replacement. I get a phone day 1 day prior to my dental cleaning stating that I need medical clearance prior to my appointment and no one from Duke has responded after several attempts. I informed the Office Manager how did they contact my surgeon's office when no one asked me for the surgeon's name. Instead of owing up to their dysfunction, the Office Manager made up every excuse instead of acknowledging that they handled the situation inappropriately. The Office Manager and staff keep reiterating that we tried to leave a voice message, but your box was full! That is not the truth because I clear my messages every day. The Spectrum tech person just confirmed that my voicemail box was empty. Last, is it professional to raise her voice at patient? I told Bailey that she was raising her voice while talking to me. I will be picking up my records tomorrow and find a professional dental office. I prefer going to a practice that has an office staff who exhibits customer friendly behaviors even in the face of mistakes.
