Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).

Dr Wilkin is the kindest, most patient man. Every person in the office, from front desk to hygienist to dental assistant is top notch in professionalism, patience (they need it with this chicken) and KINDNESS. They also made the billing process make sense to me. This is another area of weakness for me...none of it is usually very clear to my mind. This was simple for me to understand. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially if you don't like going to the dentist. On to my experience...I have gum disease and am on the 4 month cleaning and had two crown preps on Thursday. Can I tell you I never felt a THING? On my first visit (for a cleaning), I was told I needed to return for a filling. I was given an appointment date and time. I returned and they said I didn't have an appointment and I didn't need a filling. Then they stared at me until I walked out of the office. I emailed and they said that, yes, I did need a filling, please come back in a couple of weeks. When I go back, the dentist and assitant are in the middle of a conversation and stop for a few seconds to ask "Got any plans for the weekend?" But they walk out while I'm answering their question. That was the last time dentist spoke to me until he walked out of the room for good. Everything about this place has been inconvenient and weird.

After two surgeries and severe pain for more than eight weeks., he took quick action and realized I had a bone infection in my jaw. He has worked with me every week for over eight weeks and given the total of four months that I was dealing with this problem, I have quickly improved since my surgery with him after the less than stellar experience with the previous oral surgeon. Not only did he help me identify the problem, but he continued to call me personally, on his cell while on vacation or during the past eight weeks at any point just to check in. He has a true care in his patients and making sure that they actually are doing better. I highly recommend him to anyone. I also have to mention how wonderful his staff is. They all have been wonderful to deal with and Joelle at the front desk is a true gem.

Easy to find office, friendly, helpful staff. My first appointment I was fighting a sinus infection-so we decided to wait until that cleared to do my surgery. Dr. Hambleton was down to earth and explained my options. So when I went in this week for the actual surgery, one of his staff sat with me to go over my paperwork-in case I had any questions. I chose NOT to be put under, and rather go with just local anesthesia. I really liked having that option. I got to choose the music playing during my surgery which was a nice surprise too! Surgery went better than I had hoped, and Dr Hambleton apologized for it taking too long-as he was making sure it was perfect. In my calculations the surgery was less than 35 minutes-which wasn't long in my opinion. I am still only a few days out, but I can say I'm very happy with my treatment. Sadly, Dr Vogl is a FAKE and a thief! My husband and I are still traumatized by the terrible work he did on my husband's teeth. He needed implants and Dr Vogl tore out a bunch of his teeth, sent him away bleeding and didn't call in needed prescriptions to the pharmacy. We spent at least $20k there and ended up with nothing but trauma, pain and debt. We've since found a new dentist who's done beautiful work with the implants and we're thankful for that. When I went to pay the receptionist, who was already in need of some help with her interpersonal skills, tried to sell me on the dental insurance they want you to sign up for. It's a scam. She then tried to act like I would be a moron to not get the insurance. I'm not sure if she understood that her BS might work on the average clientele but she came off like a pathetic idiot trying to pedal more garbage. She's not a sales person, she's not charismatic, she isn't even a decent human being. I wouldn't engage with her if I wasn't required to. A bit steep, but I was setting up dental insurance in the meantime. I was told by a receptionist here that with Aflac insurance, everything is paid up-front and I'll file a claim with my insurance. I was unaware of this due to a misunderstanding with my insurance agent, but I figured after my appointment, it would still be that $300 that I was quoted. When I was told the total after my appointment, I said that I could NOT afford over $500 for a cleaning and X-ray. The younger receptionist at the desk chimed in, and condescendingly said, "We already told you you'd have to pay up-front before your appointment". WELL, yes, I was completely aware but I sure wasn't aware that it cost me over $500. She said the extra money after the quote I received were "Office fee's"... F***ing comical, like this place can't afford their administrative costs, as is. Take that extra $219 of mine, and refill your printers ink. Definitely not coming back, as someone who is a low-income individual and needs more work done with my teeth, this place is a scam and doesn't care about your personal life situations when it comes to money.
