On my first visit (for a cleaning), I was told I needed to return for a filling. I was given an appointment date and time. I returned and they said I didn't have an appointment and I didn't need a filling. Then they stared at me until I walked out of the office. I emailed and they said that, yes, I did need a filling, please come back in a couple of weeks. When I go back, the dentist and assitant are in the middle of a conversation and stop for a few seconds to ask "Got any plans for the weekend?" But they walk out while I'm answering their question. That was the last time dentist spoke to me until he walked out of the room for good. Everything about this place has been inconvenient and weird.

My problem…read morearose when I was told it was ok to knock out 3 fillings and the remainder of a deep cleaning in one day. After numerous Drs later I was told that had the Dr. Kutis noticed in my exam that I was an at risk patient for TMD/TMJ issues a lot of my problems would have never happened. I left my appointment with trismus that has lasted almost 2 full months, thousands of dollars trying to find help and basically felt like Dr Kutis was too busy to see me and that they wanted to get rid of me asap. It's been an agonizingly painful ordeal that has made me mentally and physically drained. The jaw spasms and pain were so unbearable I didn't know how I could go on or what to do or where to go. The main problem was my bite was off, one of the fillings Dr. Kutis had done was "high" I could feel it when I bit down, but she had gone out of town that Wednesday, I tried to wait for her return on Monday but I had to rush to another dentist on Friday to have it filed down, as she wouldn't be back in the office for almost a week. The trissmus still had not subsided and I seen her finally on Monday to which she said the filling was still high and filed it down again. Since then 11/11/25 I've seen 4 dentists, 1 ENT, 1 endosontist, 1 TMJ physical therapist, 1 TMJ specialist, 1 acupuncturist, 1 PCP and have been on muscle relaxers to control the spasms, plus dry needling done to my face and neck, I've spent over $3000.00 trying to correct this from Bite splints to therapy. My primary put me on anti depressants as I was losing my mind. This has been an absolutely awful ordeal. While I dont want to blast someone for possible negligence, I think educating is important and being careful with your patients is paramount. The length of the work almost 2hrs most people can handle, I did not know I couldn't, but I'm not a Dr. then the high filling sent my jaw into a frenzy of misalignment issues. I felt like a burden to them and pushed away. Which all I needed was help and guidance as I was scared and didn't know what was happening. That's what I care about. To this day I'm still having ear popping and muscle tightness, I'm still doing dry needling at almost 2 months out, I wish I never came here everyday. Becareful people.. I have a feeling I'll heal by the 4-6month mark hopefully! Jaw issues are no joke. I had no idea.

Sadly, both of them are now in their 80s and in poor health--my stepdad is battling stage 4 cancer and Parkinson's, which the office is fully aware of. This past weekend, my stepdad fell seriously ill. He had a cleaning scheduled for Monday, so we called the office first thing to explain. Instead of compassion, we were told we'd be charged a $60 no-show fee. We explained that we could bring him in, but he was coughing badly, and we didn't want to risk exposing other patients. The office coordinator still insisted on charging the fee. When we asked how we could possibly cancel "24 hours in advance" when they're closed Friday through Sunday, there was no answer--just a firm stance that the fee applied. So, rather than let him rest and reschedule, we had no choice but to drag him in--just so the office could collect their $75 cleaning fee. It's deeply disappointing to see a practice we trusted for decades put policy and profit above compassion and common sense. After so many years of loyalty, this was a painful reminder that for some offices, the bottom line matters more than people.

Sadly, Dr Vogl is a FAKE and a thief! My husband and I are still traumatized by the terrible work he did on my husband's teeth. He needed implants and Dr Vogl tore out a bunch of his teeth, sent him away bleeding and didn't call in needed prescriptions to the pharmacy. We spent at least $20k there and ended up with nothing but trauma, pain and debt. We've since found a new dentist who's done beautiful work with the implants and we're thankful for that. The expert dentists are still there, their staff are the same familiar faces and the technology they use is always state-of-the-art. From the moment you walk in you can tell this isn't your typical dentist office. When you feel the warmth of their fireplace and hear the friendly greeting from the staff at the front desk you know you've entered a caring practice. I went to get a cavity filled and the visit was actually pleasant. It was comforting to know Dr. Scott and his assistant, Evelyn, would be doing the procedure. They used a numbing agent so the work could be done painlessly and throughout the procedure I enjoyed watching a documentary on their ceiling TV, listening through headphones. The procedure was quick and painless and I look forward to returning to have them do other dental work we've discussed.
