I found Dr Hendry. I left a phone message with the office manager the evening I found his office and reviewed him at various sites. I was pleased that they returned my call the next day. She listened to my concerns, obtained my insurance information to make sure we were covered at their office. Also so I could have clear idea of cost. (Very pleased by this) When my husband and I arrived we were greeted by extremely caring and warm staff. I then met Dr Hendry. (I cannot express how anxious I was to be starting with a new dentist) In came the kindest man. He sat and explained everything to me. I then needed to return for some f/u work and that went well. No pain. My husband had the same experience. Our co-pays are very reasonable and we have been alerted to any costs. We have now been happy patients for two years. If all medical appointments could go so well life would be perfect.

What seems to indicate the change of ownership is, the new name of the practice and there is no mention of Dr. Chatterley in the web site or phone messages. Dr. Chatterley was an exceptional dentist. I will miss his care. So this practice is not called Chatterley and now and is called Mountain West. It has been for about 4 plus months.

Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).

Dr. Rand takes the time to explain to you everything he is doing while he is doing it. He never blames you for having cavities or makes you feel bad. Sadly, Dr Vogl is a FAKE and a thief! My husband and I are still traumatized by the terrible work he did on my husband's teeth. He needed implants and Dr Vogl tore out a bunch of his teeth, sent him away bleeding and didn't call in needed prescriptions to the pharmacy. We spent at least $20k there and ended up with nothing but trauma, pain and debt. We've since found a new dentist who's done beautiful work with the implants and we're thankful for that. I could go on about the other shoddy work they did on me and my mom. Suffice to say, PLEASE steer clear of this place. They'll rob you blind and you'll end up in worse shape than when you went in.

She claimed that she couldn't handle my case since it was too difficult. During my tenure at a University based dental school I had undergone a full mouth restoration and have been to several dentists since then (primarily due to my moving to different cities) and have never been told that my case was too difficult. Up until now and since my retirement in 2012, I have received great dental care and have always been told that my at-home dental care was outstanding. I was anticipating the same here and was let down. The cleaning was great and the other staff members were professional, however, it seems to me that the dentist needs further education. She also promised to provide me the name of a local prosthodontist but never delivered.

After two surgeries and severe pain for more than eight weeks., he took quick action and realized I had a bone infection in my jaw. He has worked with me every week for over eight weeks and given the total of four months that I was dealing with this problem, I have quickly improved since my surgery with him after the less than stellar experience with the previous oral surgeon. Not only did he help me identify the problem, but he continued to call me personally, on his cell while on vacation or during the past eight weeks at any point just to check in. He has a true care in his patients and making sure that they actually are doing better. I highly recommend him to anyone. I also have to mention how wonderful his staff is. They all have been wonderful to deal with and Joelle at the front desk is a true gem.

Easy to find office, friendly, helpful staff. My first appointment I was fighting a sinus infection-so we decided to wait until that cleared to do my surgery. Dr. Hambleton was down to earth and explained my options. So when I went in this week for the actual surgery, one of his staff sat with me to go over my paperwork-in case I had any questions. I chose NOT to be put under, and rather go with just local anesthesia. I really liked having that option. I got to choose the music playing during my surgery which was a nice surprise too! Surgery went better than I had hoped, and Dr Hambleton apologized for it taking too long-as he was making sure it was perfect. In my calculations the surgery was less than 35 minutes-which wasn't long in my opinion. I am still only a few days out, but I can say I'm very happy with my treatment. Dr called day after to check in too (very rare anymore, but so welcomed!)
