Later, I began experiencing hip pain, and Barb explained how to adjust the seat of my chair, and that worked too!

He is very strong and definitely does not waste time but he is incredibly knowledgeable, kind compassionate and caring. Unfortunately I have struggled with chronic headaches for many years and Doctor Peck has gone out of his way to research and try many different methods of dealing with the pain. He's definitely not someone who just pushes medication but he also seems to genuinely care about you and your quality of life. His staff is great as well. I literally just received a phone call from Jasmine who wanted to make sure that my needs had been taken care of. You can't go wrong if you need pain management or sports rehabilitation. They are amazing and if there were more than 5 stars I would give them all the stars Charles Woods

Wow I get to be the first Yelp!!!. Dr Kraft tried to tell me not to make this too personal but how…read morecan I not? I've been on fentanyl for 17 years. (Unlike most infants my son was tapered off of opioids which I think is one of the major problems with children today is that they aren't.) That was back when it was kind of new and it was only 25. Every 4 hours was getting old for breakthrough medicine and you can't imagine the pain from feeling your spinal cord split open. I have a brain tumor you get to age with, an arachnoid cyst. That disease mixed with syringomyalia and a chiari are what I call the trifecta. Then I noticed EDS, Lupus & MS being sprinkles on the top.(I run a brain tumor foundation and can't help but be a doctor patient). I always suspected I had EDS because it goes with an arachnois cyst and until I read it eats your joints I knew I had it because I have a total shoulder replacement and I can put my feet behind my neck. I know I am 50 and I should have been diagnosed sooner but when you have someone who knows their craft like Dr Kraft then you can't help but feel the results practically immediately. I've had many rhyzottomies since 1998 and told Dr Kraft that I could feel the sensation as soon as he did it. He didn't believe me until I came crying into his office wanting to give him a big fat hug and unable to because he's not that kind of doctor, always thinking too much, and it's covid. But I've never wanted to hug anybody more than I did at that moment. I'm called "highly responsive" I feel because of all these rhyzottomies and epidurals that didn't really work but kind of numbed the pain of a rhyzotomy. Last week before I had a rhyzotomy I did a laser treatment and the next day I was in so much pain I cried and just put myself out and when I woke up in excruciating pain on Friday I thought I had missed my appointment and was going to be tortured over the weekend. Luckily I didn't miss my appointment and the treatment took the swelling down immensely. So much so that it was on my drive to my appointment that I realized it was over. 17 years. I cried all the way to my appointment as I drove myself wondering why I wasn't changing my patch. Why I didn't need it after 17 years. My husband didn't even survive but twelve because he had his hidden addiction to my medication so well that I lost him four years ago. Dr Kraft how can I not be personal? I had a doctor who had me on 8.002 g a fentanyl a day and I finally had one dr say that he was trying to kill me and I couldn't believe it because I was so bent. Many many unspeakable things happened to me as well as almost dying 5x because I couldn't understand what was going on having brain damage mixed with so many narcotics. I am not an "addict" and I have been called everything from a junkie w**** to all kinds of things but being called an "addict" is the most insulting thing to someone who is "chemically dependent" and doesn't want to be on this s***. My husband took one of my pills in front of me right before he died. I looked at him and said,"what does it do for you?" "I can walk." I don't think I got his answer. 17 years, Dr Kraft, is my child's entire life. I missed out on so many years of life because drs got me hooked, fentanyl is a very mind bending drug that warbles your life. I've been crying the whole time I've been writing this because I'm a writer and yesterday I woke up for the first time in 17 years able to think clearly because of Dr Kraft's Lightsabers. I can walk a lot easier I can talk a lot easier and I can feel things that I haven't felt in years, naturally. I never thought I could feel like I could live to be a 100 until now. I never felt like I could live or have a life that didn't involve fentenyl. I still need breakthrough meds but not fentanyl anymore and you have no idea what 17 years of my life on that s*** have been like. I can't believe I'm alive to tell you this is the best method I stumbled upon while looking for different modalities to get me through this awful pain and muscle spasms that never stop. It's nice to think about going on long trips although I would need a machine. But it's just nice to think about going on a real trip for a weekend and being able to drive because the vibrations don't hurt. My nerves have not calmed completely down but my neuropathy isn't as bad. I told them they should make a suit for everybody's joints but that's going to be a ways down the road.

READ IF YOU ARE INSURED AND ARE TRYING TO GO ABOUT THIS VISIT THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE…read more I wish I can give the doctor 5 stars and my 2nd visit receptionist 0. First visit was spectacular, as dr Kian Javid relieved a lot of my on and off issues that I had going on with my back on and off. Due to day to day life and work. (I work for UPS) Due to reading his reviews prior it was mostly about him and his wonderful practice so I considered. unfortunately I had to terminate my business going into the 2nd visit.as of 4/14/2023 My main issue with this establishment is the lack of the "fine wording" that does not get communicated properly with the patients. I went to the website and looked and read everything. However it did not work out that way . I ended up having to pay 150.00 out of pocket FIRST VISIT just so my insurance can be legit and verified that I am not HMO well at least that's what the nice lady on my first visit told me. I didn't make a big deal due to thats probably how they do things there. however that was not communicated to me via phone when making my appointment as well as what is stated on their website. (Misguided and falsely advertised) 2nd visit came around same week and a different receptionist told me otherwise. She printed out some typed out guidelines stating "blue cross of California and not blue cross blue shield". Kept telling me to read it, but all I wanted was some clarity and understanding on how they are billing me. The guideline paper did NOT state or answer any of my questions I wanted to ask. Also, it's clear that they do not look over the patients chart because she asked me what my co pay was and she has a blown up photo copy of my insurance card sitting right in front of her. On top of it saying PPO and not HMO. Lol, I nicely told her what it was anyway, (10.00) and she rudely commented that NO, its more then that". Lady how are u going to tell ME what my amount is when clearly you can't even read the proof of insurance that's right in-front of you? This is not my first rodeo with the chiropractors and the doctors etc. I'm sure I know what my copay is. SECONDLY, I came in early to discuss how I will be billed meaning my (insurance) due to the 1st time charge of 150.00. (Which I would be reimbursed by them if my insurance covers them per conversation with the 1st receptionist/nurse of my visit) If I have insurance why would I want to pay for a service that is covered through my network? Common sense- I left and cancelled my business. she then told me she will contact me once she gets in contact with my insurance. I left and sat in their parking lot and pretty much just did her job for her. 10 minutes later with answers ...I called and verified the coverage "with Blue Shield of California" and sure enough I was 100% with-in network and covered. Sadly I was charged when I shouldn't have been, or at least help me understand vs sitting there trying to explain to me what their other blue cross blue shield patients dealt with and arguing with me what my copay is etc. I don't care how good the care and facility is, if I am treated otherwise by staff and I present my facts with proof and want some kind of valid understanding then I will NOT continue my business.

This office is by far the worst experience I've had with a doctor. First of all, the staff is…read moreextremely rude and unprofessional. They barely glance at you when you walk in and don't even acknowledge that you're there. Secondly, the doctor has the worst chair side manners! He was rude and downplayed my symptoms and made me feel like he didn't believe me. I wasn't even there for five minutes I told him my symptoms, and he didn't even do any sort of examination. He was argumentative and arrogant. He didn't even listen to any of my concerns, but instead argued with me about them as if he knows how my body is actually feeling this guy doesn't walk in my shoes and doesn't know, the pain that I'm having yet he had the nerve to brush it off like I was making it up. I left feeling very upset.

Pros- Dr. Khoshar is amazing. Very knowledgeable and…read moregenuinely interested in resolving the root cause(s) of the pain. Appointments are pretty easy to get. In network for most insurance companies. Cons- The biggest issue is billing. They have such an antiquated set up in which the only options for payment are to mail in your check or credit card number or to try calling to give them the cc number over the phone. They rarely answer on the first try. The whole system is beyond frustrating. You know how any time you go to any other doctor and have a procedure done, it's pretty standard for the doctor to call & check on you? Or let's say you had some labs done and the doc calls you back or emails you? You can't get that here without being charged for a full office visit. That's right - a 2 minute phone call in which the doctor says 'I looked at the test results and we need to send off to insurance for the next procedure', gets billed for $800 (full office visit). There is no such thing as a courtesy follow up phone call, even if it's 2 mins 16 seconds, yes I have the call log. Appointments are easy to get but NEVER be in a hurry here because they are consistently at least an hour behind. Overall, I do still recommend this clinic because they do listen and don't just tell you 'it's anxiety' or brush you off without trying to help. I just think it's helpful to know what to expect for billing and if I had known this is how they were, I would have chosen a different place.
