In all honesty, I'll be back. Just need to qualify that. I'll be back for oil changes, probably not much else. I was in recently. Brought my RAM truck in for an oil change and a 20k mile check up. It's in the book, it exists. There's nothing to it, really. I even brought in the truck's manual with me to go over what it called for. Just look around, check a few things, all good? Yup, move on. They told me they would do it. That's why I got my oil done 2500 miles early. I wanted that on the books for future value non-sense. Now, maybe it's because I have more grays than anyone affiliated with this company. It just seems to me that when you say you're going to do something and it's important to your customer, you just do it. Apparently, some shmuck with a wrench in the back decided this wasn't worth his/her time and so it wasn't done. On the bright side, I wasn't charged for it, I'm sure nothing would have turned up, it's a non-event... except for the fact that I was told it would be done. For god's sakes people, just take 15 minutes out of your day, poke around, shake a stick at it, make an old man happy. Recently did my third visit to ER Auto. I am pleased with their service and will be returning. They seem to be very thorough with their inspections and talking to them, they give a priority list of urgency if urgent at all. They seem to be able to do most repairs. I paid ER Auto about $8,000 for an engine replacement and over $10,000 total in repairs. Yet my car still has a long-term oil leak, wrong coolant, and sloppy workmanship issues. An independent inspection confirmed these problems. ER Auto denied responsibility and only provided engine mileage when pressed two years later. I is to call them 6 hours later and to my surprise they told me they broke my trucks frame . the idiot secretary admitted they put it on the l ft and then took it off but when confronted he lied and recanted his story. I had to have my truck towed off their property . these assholes had the audacity to do nothing about my truck but then call me aland tell me to have my vehicle removed or they will towed at my expense. Everybody is super nice, the place is very clean, it even has fresh flowers! they also have delicious homemade cookies and other complimentary snacks and drinks, they even order you an Uber at their cost to drop you off at your home. BUT, you should never set foot in this beautiful place full of people who treat you very nicely. The act they put on is to lure you in, and then go for the kill (a substantial charge for work you don't need). Here's what happened to me. I went in for a front wheel alignment, I was given an estimate of $170, and a two hour wait. Place was very clean and nice atmosphere, so I sat and waited, an hour later the manager or owner comes in and tells me the bad news, the bolts to adjust the camber caster and tow were frozen and had to be soaked in a release agent over-night to be able to loosen them and make the necessary adjustments, and this will cost an additional $170, so now I'm up to $340!! I tried asking for a discount, but nooooo, they don't give discounts because their work is top notch no one can come close to their service (Humongous Lies!!!). The owner (nice guy) told me to expect a call the next day when the car is ready, he even told me about the special service they do for clients who have large repairs that exceed $500 and take a couple of days, they give them relatively new cars (loaners) to use while their car is being repaired. But in my case he offered an Uber on the garage expense to take me home and they did. Next day I get a call at around 10:00 am, unfortunately, the owner says, the passenger side nuts were loosened but not the driver side, that these are frozen beyond repair, any more torquing on them will damage other components. The new cost to do the repair with new parts is over $1400 and that's using off-brand parts! And after giving me some discounts. I told him to give me a few minutes, I called my close friend who owns a car repair shop on Corrugated Avenue, whom I trust with my life, however, he doesn't own an alignment machine, told him about the frozen bolts and nuts, he said to bring it over, he'll loosen them for me and I can go back and have the alignment shop do their job. Called the ER shop owner or manager told him my plan, he said absolutely not, he won't have it, either I accept what they offer, or they will not touch my car. I was so quite upset at him for saying this, I told him fine I'm coming to take my car and get it done somewhere else. When I got to the shop I told them if my friend is able to loosen the nuts and bolts and I can get the car aligned somewhere else, I'm going to write a bad review on them, but, if the bolts are truly frozen and components need to be replaced, I'll come back and apologize to them. Well, after I got to my friend's garage on fifth Avenue (called Haydar's Auto shop), they lifted the car, and a technician came over with a torque wrench in order not to damage any bolts or nuts, and to everyone's surprise, all bolts and nuts on both sides (passenger and driver) were loosened up with hardly any extra effort, all loosened very smoothly, nothing was frozen. That got me really mad, ER Autocare lied to me and kept my car overnight (which it obviously didn't need) and tried to con me the first time by doubling the charge, BUT, that wasn't enough, they wanted to con me for over $1400 and I would have taken their bait (the clean nice place even with fresh real flowers and home made cookies and complementary snacks). I asked my friend to recommend an alignment shop, he told me to go to Bee Line Alignment which is a 10-minute drive. I did, it was lunch time, so the job was going to take a couple of hours. I Went to a coffee shop, waited on their call and two hours later, I got a call, the car was done. I paid a hefty $120!!! To get it fixed. Quite a discount from over $1400 that ER Autocare were going to charge me!!! If you value your money, or work hard for it, don't go to this place. Tell your family and friends tell everyone about this place! BTW, the owner of the shop made a comment about my car being a $100K car, justifies an hefty repair fee, also, pointed to a Mercedes Benz was getting an $1800 brake job. I feel sorry for car owner who get conned at that place, especially people who own expensive cars, they seem to be an easy target! read more

My brakes were making a scraping noise and I stopped by the car ER on Sawmill Road to have them checked. I ended up needing new brake pads and rotors. The staff was very friendly and professional . The facility is remarkably clean in appearance. They took my car for a test drive immediately. They fixed the problem same day. I was impressed! I'm not a car expert, so I can't really comment on the price fairness...it ended up being around $1400 for all 4 tires on my 2016 Hyundai Elantra. My only complaint would be I waited in their waiting area for over 2 hours and they didn't update me on progress and what was happening. When I asked, they were helpful, but a periodic update if you are waiting would be appreciated! I would be willing to use them again in the future. read more

Only to find out those smooth guys recommended service on their cars that was totally UNECCESSARY. My mother and sister found out when they took their cars to ANOTHER Auto repair shop. Please do not take your car here for an alignment! I have an old Accord, so I've been to my fair share of mechanics. Not once in my life have I ever dealt with more unprofessional/unhelpful people. I spent some time comparing prices for an alignment and I ended up going with them because they were about 30$ more then the rest of the mechanics in the aria (I wanted to get the best service). It took 3 hours for them to complete a job they said would only take 1.5 hours and after the alignment was completed my steering wheel needed to be turned almost 90 degrees for it to go straight. I immediately took it back to the shop and told them it's much worse than when I brought it in originally and I would appreciate if they could correct it. They said it wouldn't be a problem and after another few hours of waiting I got my car back. Y'all... I'm telling you it was still so much worse than when I originally took it in. Not to mention they refused to give me the updated angles on my tires because I took it back twice. Moral of the story I would be scared to have these guys change my break pads. They had very little understanding about what they were doing and charge higher prices than most other mechanics in the aria. read more
