Despite that, the communication I received from leadership felt dismissive, unprofessional, and at times intimidating. Terms like "red flags" and "reporting" were used toward me even though I was only trying to understand my options after being misled by another lender. When I asked to withdraw my application, I was incorrectly told I couldn't, which added unnecessary stress. I was also told that my loan might not be worth the business impact, and that it wouldn't be worked even if everything was legitimate. This was especially disappointing because I had a long-standing personal connection with someone in leadership. If this is how I was treated after 15+ years of knowing someone there, I'm concerned how a veteran with no connection or support might be treated. In all my years as a veteran, I have never felt so disrespected while simply asking questions and trying to do things the right way. I truly hope this company reflects on the experience I had and takes steps to ensure clearer, more respectful communication with veterans and other borrowers in the future. Veterans deserve professionalism, accuracy, and respect when navigating VA loan programs.

Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.
