Stay away from this company and Security National Mortgage. Incompetence and zero communication…read more These people have caused to lose a home in another state because they do not know what they are doing. They hired a green appraiser that was clueless and totally devalued our home. His name is Eric Foreman - send him away if he shows up to your house. The Lender working under Melendez - Lisa Boersma - does not return calls. Melendez does not return calls either. Checked online and there are sites that show ratings of 2.6 / 5 and below.

My husband and I had tried to purchase a home three times before. Let me tell you about this craziness. First time we tried we went through so many classes so that we could qualify for help programs, we found a home and were excited only to find out that the program was not what we thought and that loans were going to be similar to a balloon payment and had the chance of loosing our home if we didn't comply with some stipulations for the first years of the loan. luckily we pulled out and were sad as we were back to square one. The second time, we knew we had some credit issues and were working to clean them up, we thought we had a great team found a house and went through the process and at final walk through we found someone had came and stolen all the copper and the air conditioner from the home which made the home unable to be purchased, we searched for other homes found others and were finally told that our credit wasn't strong enough for them to even help us, so we waisted our time and were very sad again with no home. Third time was the worst, we had cleaned our credit, thought we were good this was it we were going to be home owners, they (realtor and lender) had us so excited. We searched and searched for the perfect home. We found the most perfect home ever!! This was it, it was going to happen!! we made it all the way through the whole process and two weeks before closing we received the worst heart wrenching news ever! They called and told us that the lender had pulled our credit one too many times and had made it so that we couldn't qualify any longer and closing was off and the deal was pulled. At that time my husband said NO more, we can rent! I agreed and we rented for almost ten years until one day I was scrolling through FB and was reading some stories about my cousin Michelle Cordova and her new adventures in real estate and how happy she was to make some dreams come true. For the heck of it I called her and told her a little bit of our story cause how could my cousin do me wrong, right?? and she says well can I have Amanda call you and see where your at? I said sure and even told my husband well here we go again, I don't even know if I want to do this, I can't deal with this again. So Amanda calls and we talk and she gets all my info, I felt like we were life long friends. Next thing I know Michelle is calling me and says congratulations you are qualified!!! I swear I was like yeah right "OK" we will do this again and then nothing. Amanda's team asked for some info and paperwork and we complied, I hardly heard from them, I was busy with Michelle looking for a house, when we finally found a house Michelle submitted our offer, it was accepted and the process began. please believe me when I say we hardly new we were in a loan process, everything went so smoothly it was scary, I wondered when I was going to get the bad news about anything and NOTHING!!! I got the ok from the team that were good to close and they always gave step by step info on what to expect, when to expect it and what I needed to do and boom it was always legit!! I cried uncontrollably at closing because I seriously waited for someone to tell me it was a joke! WE WERE HOME OWNERS!!!! It doesn't end there though, one year had passed in our home and we had started to get info from our mortgage co. about refinancing our home and I wasn't sure and didn't feel comfortable, so I called Amanda and told her what they were talking about. She looked into it and BOOM!! Again she made it happen and we refinanced our home and are now paying $350 less in our mortgage!! She is legit!!!! Please trust the process!!! I can never thank her and her fabulous team enough!!

We purchased a house that seemed, for all practical purposes, an easy transaction. It turned out to…read morebe quite a bit more work than anticipated. We were using a mortgage company that was very good, however, we decided to call Cody Cagle, mortgage lender, and see if he could help us get a better price; he had been highly recommended to us. Cody searched every possibility and found us a fantastic loan. Cody saved us thousands of dollars. He, also, worked hard to keep our deal together, by working with the appraisal company, in order to keep the sale from falling through. All of this was done in a very short time, because the closing date was set long before we contacted him. Cody Cagle was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and accessible, and has a great sense of humor! He worked extra hard to help us buy our house; he answered his phone or returned our messages within ten minutes, usually sooner. Cody worked extra hard for us and always made us feel as if we were his highest priority. I HIGHLY recommend him for any mortgage lending transaction; small or large!
