This was the best mortgage loan process we have been involved in during g our 33 years of home…read morebuying. Kyra Bertch was fantastic to work with. Professional, encouraging & organized. She kept things moving, got us a great interest rate and allayed any concerns by working with us. Her response time and attention were so good that if we didn't know better we would think we were her only clients! Dylan was also very professional and great to work with. I want to reiterate this was the best mortgage loan process we have ever been a part of. Highly recommend Agave Home Loans.

ZERO STARS IS MORE ACCURATE I am writing this to warn…read moreothers about the incredibly poor experience I had with Agave Mortgage Brokers. Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike and his team!…read more Mike came highly recommended by our realtor, and from the very first phone call, we knew we were in good hands. We are in California, so Mike met with us via Zoom, took the time to gather all of our information, and walked us through the entire process step-by-step. He explained what we could expect next and made what can be a stressful process feel manageable and reassuring. Throughout our home-buying journey, Mike and his team were incredibly thorough, responsive, supportive, and professional. We always felt like we had a team behind us that truly cared about getting us to the finish line--and they did! Buying a home can be overwhelming, but having the right loan officer makes all the difference. Mike and his team went above and beyond for us, and we are incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication. We highly recommend Mike and his team to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely caring mortgage team. Thank you, Mike, for helping us get into our new home!

He is very knowledgeable and knows all the loan options to best serve my clients. He also keeps in touch with clients to offer refinancing and HELOCs when rates go down. Hard to assess, really. With two of their listed "High Quality" providers, I had two vastly…read moredifferent experiences: One a "Zero Star" (One-Star, really, since you can't do Zero) with Soverign Lending Group out of Costa Mesa, CA, and another on the full opposite end of the Spectrum: A Full, unequivocal 5-Star experience with Ben Egenreider of Wyndham Capital out of Charlotte, NC. I couldn't possibly recommend Soverign any LOWER, nor Wyndham any HIGHER. As for Lending Tree, since they did connect me with Wyndham, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here, and hope they scrub Soverign from their recommended list. Standard cautions apply: Caveat Emptor!! Horrible. I already had a contract with an auto dealership to purchase a vehicle and just wanted…read moreto compare rates on auto loans. An internet search steered me to LendingTree, I entered all my information and the only thing I indicated I was interested in was a loan. After entering my details I was taken to a screen where it said it'd be helpful if I got a credit check for $1. When I did an internet search for the the site I was taken to when I clicked on that offer, I found it was often used to get people to enter their personal details and bank card information with the promise of an inexpensive credit report, but the real aim was for the site to get details about the person entering their information. I closed that page without entering anything. Next, LendingTree directed me to try and get car insurance quotes, which I didn't need and wasn't interested in. I was only here to check auto loan rates, so I closed my browser. While I never got a single message or e-mail or call from any lenders with offers for loans with great rates, which is the only reason I went to LendingTree, instead I got both texts and calls from car dealerships wanting to sell me a vehicle! I didn't need a car, I was already contracted to purchase one, I just went to LendingTree to compare loan quotes - and that's the one thing I never received. Aggravating for sure.
