I ask my doctor to refer me to a dermatologist and he sent the referral to them they called to schedule an appointment went and the doctor ask me why I was there advised her I was concerned about the skin discoloration of my leg. She asks me what medications i was taking and I told her but then advised her that I had to stop taking one of the meds because I had an allergic reaction and I told her my primary gave me a prescription for a cream to use on it. She looked at my leg and told me to just use the cream that my doctor gave me and come back in 2 weeks. First of all, the discoloration was there before I had the rash breakout. She did not even try to do any kind of research and I was only in there for 10 minutes I was so upset I ask her what is the cream going to do for this? She could not even explain like she was not concerned. I told her that was ok, I did not go back. It was a waste of time and they charged me an office visit. I really felt they do not care about the patients unless it was just me.... being a woman of color. read more

I really use to like this place. However being a patient that needs regular medication for my condition and lab work to be on this medication it has become down right impossible to make appointments to keep from missing doses. Every time I am seen I am told they will call me to schedule my next appointment in 6 months and they don't. When I asked why I never receive a call I'm told "well sir we don't call you our automated system does" why can't I make an appointment at the time I leave my appointment? Because we only schedule 3 months out. Can I get the lab slip for labs so I can get my medication after my appointment? No. Why not I always have. And that's all the doctor needs for this appointment. They clearly don't care about patients. They care about money. Or at least Bridget that answers the phone doesn't care. I'll be finding a new dermatologist. read more

Terrible appointment setting! Called and was told the only make appointments Wednesday. Make an appointment and get a reminder Monday for a Tuesday appointment that I didn't set, change to Wednesday. Don't even get a text reminder or new email confirmation, so I hope they don't mess it up again. Terrible time management! I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment, completed paperwork 10 minutes prior to my appointment then waiting until 15 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. I told the assistant exactly what I was there for then the PA (Andrea) comes in "for a skin check." Umm... that's not what I told your assistant. The PA was with me less than a few minutes before she said I was fine and didn't need anything and headed for the door. Then she wanted to sell me on some products that I didn't feel I needed. When I regurgitated what she said as the causation, she then gave me another explanation. When I explained to her how my prior dermatologists had handled the issues, she refused to do the work unless I paid her out of pocket and not under insurance. She also informed me my other THREE prior doctors were wrong. I'll be taking the hour drive back to the other dermatologist. I refuse to work with this PA and wish I could get my copay back from this completely unproductive visit. read more

Waited a whole month to be scheduled to be seen which was a battle on it's own, only to be called on the day of to be kicked to the curb for a whole other month. I hope Karma comes for them all cause it was not easy to get a hold of them and they really disappointed me. I been battling with tinea versicolor for six years and they made me feel as bad as I look. read more

When I scheduled my appointment, it was mentioned that I could go to their website and print out the paperwork that I would need to fill out and bring it with which I did. Although I did not receive a reminder call for my appointment which I was lead to believe that my appointment was not on their schedule, they saw me anyway. Everyone was very polite. The Dr prescribed some cream for the rash. All went well. read more

After dealing with a skin rash for 5 years, I finally got a Doctor that would listen to his patient. Thank you Dr. Alyn D. Hatter! After being told repeatedly from other doctors that I had eczema, Dr. Hatter listened to my problem and did a series of tests. Found out that I didn't have eczema at all, but was having an allergic to my medication that I was taking. Finally on the mend! read more

I saw Dr.Hatter today. Im extremely happy with my results. I first called to scheduled my new patient' appointment thinking it could be weeks but the secretary got me in within a week and emailed me the forms I was to fill out prior to the appointment. I did fill them out but wasn't asked to print them, the secretary printed them out that same morning I showed up to the appointment. They were extremely polite, I went early and was seen early. Dr.Hatter was so understand, caring, and took his time to hear out all my concerns and solved two of my issues on the spot. I was so happy it only took 15 mins to have my issues resolved and with a sweet doctor who values his patients. I have no complaints and I plan to return. I even asked questions that had nothing to do with my actual appointment and he was kind enough to hear me out and answer them. I really recommend this office for anyone looking for a caring dermatologist. read more

I was referred here by my doctor showed up for my appointment and paid my 30.00 co-pay on my insurance. Had my skin checked and the assistant asked me if I wanted to have a full check up done. She said (exact words) your insurance will cover it 100% because it's a check-up. So I agreed and they did the exam. A few months later I got a bill in the mail from Epiphany Dermatology for 175.44 and when I called them to ask about it I got an answering machine so I left a message and no one returned my call. A few weeks later I left another message and no one returned my call. So I just assumed they submitted the bill and my insurance covered it until I got a collections letter from CBHV saying I needed to pay because the bill went to collections blah blah blah.... Come to find out I had a deductible and it didn't cover crap because I have horrible insurance but this all could have been avoided if they would have returned my call... I am not happy at all and will never do business here again, and will travel to get seen by someone else.... You have been paid but stop telling your customers lies. read more

I have to say I have never left a doctor's office more angry in my life. I have been dealing with constant impetigo breakouts for the past three years, rosacea (undiagnosed through my pcp) for ten months. My pcp sent a referal to this dermatologist, she came in asked me when I was diagnosed with rosacea I told her I wasnt its what my primary care physician thinks I have then said she couldn't do anything for me because I was breastfeeding and sorry that I came all this way. I said hold on what about my impetigo break outs she said it doesnt look like it and its more commin in babies. I asked her to test it to see what it is then since ive been diagnosed with it before and it wont go away. She said its just a pustule from my rosacea and that the test wouldnt do anything and then left. Isnt it her job to diagnose me with rosacea and to take anything I say seriously??!!! I couldnt help but feel like anything I said wasnt important and I was waisting her time. She did not seem to care about my problems with my face. I will be going elsewhere, I hope my experience helps other people to not waste their time by going to a dermatologist that doesn't seem to care. read more
