I was referred by my PCP and I wasn't sure what to expect. But upon being greeted by a very friendly and polite front desk staff, I was very encouraged. Once I was escorted back to the exam room, the staff there (including the doctor) were all very friendly and helpful as well. Good news, they don't have to amputate my thumb. . I had my first appt here today and when I was looking up directions it took me to yelp reviews automatically so of course I began reading them. I have to say there were a lot of negative reviews so I was a bit apprehensive about my visit but I am pleased to say it could not have gone better . The waiting room and exam rooms were very clean. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to be called back and once there in the room the doctor was with me in about 2 minutes. I did have some moles that he promptly froze off and did a thorough inspection of my skin and told me to come back in a year. I was in and out of the office in about 30 minutes total. Very courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a dermatologist. read more

VERY unprofessional. I will never go back. Went in for a full body scan for a cancer prevention check and the "doctor" hardly glanced at me. just went to another dermatologist and did it again. The other doctor did a very thorough job which gave me comfort that things were as they should be. Very good to know since skin cancer runs in my family. I would avoid this practice. read more

Terrible with their communication. After 3 phone calls including voicemail nobody returned my calls. I finally went to their office to get my pathology report & it was positive for skin cancer. I've had this close to a year & was told to just put Vaseline on it & it would heal. There's not enough room here to list all my complaints about this office & treatment issued. read more

My girlfriend waited a month for her appt, on the day of the appointment they called her in the morning, a hour later my gf wakes up and called them back and left a voicemail, they didn't reply or call back after.We show up they ask for my gf I.D and then says "No Insurance right", when my gf has insurance... but who says it like that and assumes.Weird.... Anyways then tells us how the Doc called in sick today. We wasted a 35min drive and a month of waiting, when it could've all been avoided if they return her call or voicemail...but what I take from it is they don't care about there clients.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! read more

Had a VI Peel done after I was advised I should for my melasma/ hyperpigmentation. Not impressed and not worth $450 they charge you for it.

These people are criminals. They told me it was nearly $600 for a one patch allergy test for nickel. I could've ordered a nickel test on Amazon for $16. They also left me in the exam room for 40 minutes waiting to be seen for all of 5 minutes. I'm so mad I went here and now probably have to deal with this billing issue for months. read more

This is a tough review to write as there are definitely some big ups and downs. On the positive side, all the staff here are wonderful. I've seen Brooke and Kirbi (both PA-Cs) and they're always pleasant and attentive. They answer my questions thoroughly and take my concerns into consideration. There are two physicians at this location, but I've never seen them. The front desk staff is also always very nice and easy to work with. The location is also super convenient: it's right off Alta Vista and I've never had an issue trying to find parking. The office itself is always kept clean and the ambiance is really nice, which isn't something I typically notice about a doctor's office. On the downside, this is a VERY busy office. At times, I'll try to schedule appointments and it takes a few days of calling as their lines are always busy. Leaving a voicemail tends to get lost in the abyss; I've never been able to get a callback that way. Also, be prepared to WAIT. I've never been taken back right away, unless I book the first possible appointment. Typically, I wait at least 20 minutes, though I've also waited just over an hour. I keep coming here because of the providers, but at times, the waits are pretty ridiculous. It would be nice to get some warning if a provider is running behind and be given an option to reschedule. It can also be somewhat pricey, but most dermatology is. Overall, this place is a struggle for me, but I'll probably continue to use them as I enjoy my providers here. read more

I don't know about Epiphany Dermatology as a whole, but this Keller office is not the location you want to visit. Got my wife a facial service for Mother's Day today. I called earlier this week and set the appointment. They could not have messed more if they had tried on purpose. She checked in 15 minutes early for her appt and was forgotten. The clinician came out 10 minutes after the start time asking if my wife had checked in yet. Yes, almost a half hour ago. She was not updated in system as checked in. Then, she was given the wrong service (actually a much cheaper than intended but not as thorough). They also did not follow payment instructions that were supposedly put in the appt notes as I had tried to prepay when I made the appt. They said they would contact me after they began the service to collect payment. They made her pay on site. Great surprise for guys. I called the office, and of course got routed to corporate. Corporate advised someone from the office would contact me immediately. I know this is shocking, but no one from the office contacted me. read more

I went to see Kerbi Elsonbroek PA-C. She and the staff exceeded all my expectations! Her medical assistant was awesome! Everyone was very kind, friendly, gentle and cared about me 100%. It's 3:10 pm and I'm waiting to be called back for my 2:15 appointment. Only go in if you're the first appointment in the morning, otherwise you will be waiting quite a bit longer for your appointment than you should. They don't inform you when you check in that the provider is a whole hour behind- they just let you sit and stew. Also, don't try to book an appointment online- they'll never respond. Dr. Plott is fabulous- really a great MD, but the management of this practice leaves much to be desired. read more

I have gone to this office on Timberland Blvd several times and have been very pleased with treatment and services. Dr. Plott is outstanding. My biopsy confirmed cancer and I was referred to Dr. Tolkachjov in their Lewisville office for surgery. Fantastic care. I am less than three weeks post surgery and the cut on my face is healing so well. I am so thankful for the excellent care I have received. I will definitely continue to seek medical care from this company whenever needed and I recommend these two physicians with Epiphany Dermatology without reservation. read more

Let me start of with: I LOVE Physician Assistant Kerbi. However, there are a few major negatives: 1) the patient portal. I sent in a message to my care team and had to call 2 weeks later since my message hadn't been responded to or acted upon. 2) when you do have to call, be prepared for a long hold time. I've yet to wait less than 5 minutes for a human to pick up the phone. I have a high deductible and always pay out of pocket, so I can't speak to their billing department. Unfortunately, due to multiple skin cancers starting in my mid-thirties, I'm a repeat customer of this practice. I love the care and expertise that Kerbi provides, but I struggle with the rest of the practice. read more

The most unprofessional office ever. You are just a number to these people. Doctor didnt even address my concerns. I had to ask him to please look at my skin. He was more interested in finding things he could freeze off of me so that he can bill more to the insurance. Didn't even ask me, just started blasting my face with his freeze gun tool. Let me start by saying, Dr Plott is amazing. He's very thorough in his explanations and care. Such a kind man. Now, the office staff is another story. I've called 4 times this last week, waited on hold for 7-10 min and finally have to hang up never having spoken to someone. When I've gone in for my appointments, the waiting is crazy long, even though I'm the first appt of the day. They really need to do something about the customer service, as there are many patients who would appreciate seeing this physician, but cannot get in touch with anyone to make an appt. read more

I love Dr. Plott, he's a great Dermatologist. But I'm going to find a new Dermatologist because the people in the call center foe Epiphany are absolutely no help, nor do they want to lift a finger to resolve an issue. For the second year in a row, my PCP sent a new referral there, and they can't find it. Nor will they pick up the phone and call my PCP, which my PCP told me to ask them to do. No, they won't call and they won't do anything. I hate dealing with call centers and I should NEVER have to deal with a call center for a physician. So, adios, Epiphany and Dr. Plott. Your 'professionals' at your call center have done this, although I'm sure one patient is not that important, or your call center people would be better trained. I'm not a fan of writing a poor review but compelled to after my exchange with the office and, particularly, Irene. Wow! With appt confirmation in hand for the Bedford location, they advised it was a mistake and should be Keller. I asked, what should I do? The office staff seemed incapable or unwilling to offer a solution. Irene came to ask all the same questions her staff already shared with her. Does anyone like to repeat themselves, particularly when the staff has already acknowledged the situation and mistake? Irene, take time to understand the issue from your front-line folks before asking a client to repeat themself. So with no doctor available on premises, their email confirmation to me conflicts with their records, and I'm left with finding another group. Sorry, Dr. Plott, but your office staff is ill-equipped to assist. I suggest installing a self-service Kiosk. read more

This practice was highly recommended by several women that I know. Getting an appointment was ...interesting. I put in a request online, and I expected a phone call, but instead I received an email stating when my appointment would be. That time didn't work for me, so I replied asking for a change, and they did, but it was a unique experience. The day of my appointment I waited in the waiting room for maybe 15 minutes. However, after I was in the exam room, my stats had been taken, and I was sitting in a paper gown, I waited another 45 minutes to 1 hour. I was very frustrated, especially because the appointment itself only took about 15 minutes. In that 15 minutes, the PA was thorough, and seemed helpful, but she prescribed four different medications for me, some of which I wasn't sure were necessary, and I felt like the whole thing was a whirlwind. I thought/hoped that this was a one-time occurrence and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next day I called to ask about the prescriptions (one was over $100), and left a message. No one called me back. I called a week later and left another message. Still no returned phone call. I finally told the pharmacy to put the expensive medicine on hold, and they sent me the rest. This week I have called and left three different voicemail messages, both for the nurse line and the front desk. No one has called me back or even emailed me! I finally went into the patient portal to explain the situation and ask that someone please contact me. I went into my sent messages, and it turns out that I sent them a message through the portal weeks ago and they haven't returned that either! I have had nothing but exceptional medical care since I moved to this area four years ago, seeing all different kinds of doctors, and I have never had this kind of experience. If someone does not call me back next week, they've lost another patient. read more

don't go here. they reschedule appointments without notice at the last minute. After multiple reschedules by the office, we finally had an appointment today at 11:45. Due to traffic, we were there at 11:55. they allow you to be 15 minutes late, but not today, because the doctor was hungry. so even though they have rescheduled multiple times, the one time we were within the time limit, they canceled again. Very satisfied with Epiphany Dermatology on Timberland! I was referred to them by a friend and they did not disappoint! I highly recommend their office! All the staff there is excellent and very personable! I just recently had an appointment there. Dr. Brooke Cortez took great care of me. She was so helpful and answered all my questions. She made sure I left feeling confident in the prescriptions prescribed and was very patient with me as i had alot of questions. I can tell she really cared about all my concerns. She took me seriously and never once made me feel like I was just another patient. She made sure I left with everything I needed. You will not be disappointed at all! Dr Kerbi is great, very thorough and explains everything well. My issue is the wait ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I try to get the first appoint for the day and once I am finally put into a room ii still wait on the average 20 minutes. I show up early so not sure how you can be late if you are their first appointment of the day. Then on a follow up to have stitches removed was told just drop by and an aid will take you right back, currently waiting 45 minutes. They have no concept of peoples time is important too!!! read more

If I could I would give them no stars ! Run from this location ( Keller) . I took my daughter on Thursday due to her having an infected pimple , she was given a shot and medication was to be called in . It's Friday 3:10pm and still no medication . I called dr's office three time and still no call from office . Meanwhile my daughter is in pain due to her infected pimple and still no medicine . I will not be returning to this location . My advise go somewhere else if you want good medical care . There are plenty of good dermatologist that care for their patients, this office is a big no . Stay away don't walk run !!! read more

The Good: My entire family goes here... My father sees Dr. Todd Plott for the last 15 or so years. My husband saw Dr. Christopher K. Fuller when he had an alarming skin issue and had a great experience and was very reassured by him. My mother and I see Kerbi. I've seen Kerbi Elsenbroek, PA-C for 7+ years and I love her to death. I drive an hour each way to see her if that tells you how much I love this lady. Every time I come in there she recognizes my face and asks how I'm doing even if it's been a while. She even uses my story, with my express permission, of course, to counsel patients before going on Accutane as they may not find lasting results. Unfortunately, mine was great while I was on it but as soon as I started taking the prescription everything went right back to normal and I developed medical issues right after, but I insisted I wanted to be on Accutane so it was my fault... The Bad: - Elizabeth Widmer, PA-C, I've seen her once I refused to ever see her again. This is more than 7 years ago and I still recall it fresh in my mind to this day so it's made a long-lasting impression, to say the least. In that appointment, I mentioned thinking that I had Seb Derm on my scalp and she used a pen to lift my hair and kinda made a face when she did it. Honestly, she made me feel gross and when you come in feeling down and dirty as is when you are looking at someone that has perfect skin. Well, that's NOT what you want and I immediately wanted to fall into the floor. The next time I needed an appointment Elizabeth wasn't available and I jumped at the chance to see anyone else and Kerbi happened to be it. Kerbie was hesitant when I insisted I see her in the future because she didn't want her colleague thinking she was stealing patients and I told her that either she was going to take me or I'd have to find another office because I'd never see Elizabeth again. - I HATE the new Epiphany Dermatology and I miss the old Dermatology Alliance. I'm sure there was a good reason for the merger but it's impossible to reach the offices. You call the line and it takes you to a call center which you can't reach someone half of the time due to 'phone line problems' then when you can reach a problem you get someone with a snippy attitude. I have a vocal disorder, leaving messages isn't productive when the other person on the line cannot hear you in a recording, it's hard enough hearing me live. I had to call over the span of a month, probably 16+ times to get ahold of someone in the Keller office in regards to missing labs that I never got a follow-up on. At that point, honestly I should have gotten off my behind and driven the hour to go to the office, but that's not something I should have had to have done. If you can't figure out your phone lines, or find someone that wants to do their job, find another way for me to communicate with my office. read more

The doctors are great and listen to their patients. The office/nursing staff is lacking though since they became Epiphany Dermatology. Billing department couldn't file a correct claim for 4 months. It took 4 calls from me, and 2 conference calls between the billing department, the insurance company, and myself; and still no resolve came from it. Not until I told them and filed a claim against them for insurance fraud with the state did the bill my insurance and myself correctly. Went back cause I really like the doctors to have a spot removed. The results came back in a few days, but I have been trying for 2 days to get the results from the nurses. First day was a phone tag day between their nurses Mary and Chelsea, with the nurses always calling right before the office closed for lunch or for the day. Today, Chelsea (their pathology nurse) didn't even attempt to return my call. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to go up there because they can't return calls or in a timely manner get patients their results. Beware of their billing, and how long it takes there nurses to return a call. At any given time I have been there, there have been at least 2-3 nurses sitting in the back office writing in charts, and could easily pickup the phone. But guess they have better things to do than answer patient questions. read more

PA Elizabeth Widmer was amazing!!! I went in because I had a mole that started hurting and she removed that and another one immediately. Earlier this year I had neurosurgery to remove a Schwannoma brain tumor so my skin freaked out from the stress on my body which gave me horrible teenager like acne. Being only 28 years old with a hugs scar going from my forehead down to below my ear, the last thing I want to worry about is acne. I didn't know that there was much they could do for the acne, but Elizabeth had many options for me that she said would help. Of course I tried the acne medicine and acne surgery and my acne is already getting better after only 2 weeks! She also has options to improve my incision/scar once it's completely healed. She has been a complete life saver for me and boosted my self confidence so much! I have already recommended her to my friends and family and we be a loyal patient to Epiphany Dermatology because of PA Elizabeth Widmer! read more
