I have only good things to say about Epiphany, the doctors, and staff. They're the ones that helped me with my cystic acne when everything else failed. They offered treatment, and didn't force anything onto me that I didn't understand. The front office has always been helpful to me, available for schedule changes and confirmations, and are quick on their toes when it comes to scheduling and checking the doctor's flexibility. I'm surprised to see that the ratings are so low, so hopefully this helps shed light on just how appreciative of their help I am. Give Epiphany a chance, they help. read more

I scheduled to have a facial consultation and after waiting for 10 min I checked in with the receptionist for an update since I was told overall, I was gonna take about 15 minutes and I still had work that I was missing. She said that the aesthetician was just cleaning up the room for me and that I should be seen soon, mind you it was at 8 AM and I was supposed to be the first client of the day just because I needed to get back to work. At the 20 min mark the other receptionist called me up to tell me the aesthetician called out sick. I was upset because one of the receptionist lied, I got there early to be checked in to be seen on time, waited 20 min past my 8AM appointment and I was missing work when I didn't need to. I'm sure had I done that they would've put me as a no show and charge a fee. Overall just distasteful, no wonder this place doesn't have a good rating, and it sucks because I was seeing a dermatologist that I really liked there for my skin issues but due to the overall management of how epiphany dermatology is ran I'd rather just go anywhere else. read more

Dr Brett Ozanich has been my Dermatologist for several years. He is a very, very attentive caregiver who spends as much time with me as needed. He is personable, a sense of humor and a total professional. I feel very comfortable discussing any skin issue with me. His diagnosis and treatment and medications are clearly explained with ample time for my questions. The long term skin issue I have had since my teens he diagnosed and placed me on a medication that was like a wonder drug. It cleared up my problem and it remains so over a year later. The office staff and techs have always been professional and polite ... Zack particularly helpful and Ashley. I am very surprised at the negative reviews and I cannot judge the fault in their comments but can only give a truthful account of my experience. I wish I would've checked Yelp before we went here. The sole positive thing I can say, they got us out of the waiting room quickly on multiple visits. But then, we'd wait in a patient room for 45-60 minutes. It's like they want to not have to look at you while you wait. Then, they misdiagnosed my wife, which I recognize can happen, but failed to adjust in a timely fashion. Would leave messages for Belen and would never return my phone calls. Was put on hold for a long time to be able to speak to the office manager, Ryan that was only able to get me to Belen, not once did he apologize and showed any empathy to my situation. 5-1-24 appt 900am I am always early enough for my appointments (64 yrs old). I always map them out before hand and If I need to, I use MAPS to get to the location. Today I had an appt with who they call "Elvis". I don't care personally about the way they describe their people but isn't always some name that you have to ask about as to know who they are? What is so cool about nick names to people who don't know or even care about the catchy name you want to use to force a question of who that is? Anyway, I left for my 900 am appt, from the Sunrise area in Northeast EP to the Mesa Hills location, at 0825 so that I would have 15 minutes to spare. But, as usual with I-10, there is a 50/50 chance that you won't have a slow down or stop. I got the 20 minute stop for a typical one lane accident but an all lanes blocked by DOT trucks and police, fire & EMS for what looked like non-life threatening injuries. No one on a gurney to be transported. So I get to the appt desk at 917am by my watch, the receptionist says, since you are more than 15 minutes late I will need to check and see if they will take you. The answer was within 2 minutes and it was "No". I don't argue anymore, I just let people know on these reviews and move on. What I do know is that ANY doctor appt I go to, There will be a long wait and the the time in front of the doctor is usually a few minutes at best but the staff who always having so much fun laughing out loud about whatever while you wait for them to work and finish "helping" you. Tell me you disagree, go ahead, tell me I am wrong. I believe in time management IF it is done right. There is no exaggeration here, its all factual. I won't use these people in the future read more

I am a Physician. Called,after a few disappointments got a person to talk to. Requested an appointment with Dr Guevara. Since my wife Doctor also) had a condition that required urgent care Diagnosis and Treatment) was advised Dr Guevara was out of town. Was given an appointment with another "Doctor" Their Doctor ended up being not an M D. But a DO. Were placed in a room, after a period of wait , his students examined my wife with a "knowledgeable " attitude. The doctor came in ( cold, not empathetic dictated his diagnosis and treatment and laboratory studies. With a follow up appointment to discuss the findings and left. Several weeks later day before her appointment they called and said she would be seen by somebody else (a PA ) !!! We find this act to be unprofessional and unethical. We were expecting to meet this "expert" to explain the outcome of the lab tests. We will be taken care of much better elsewere. read more

I had seen NP Cindy Campos and she had helped me for a while. Until she put me in a debt collection with acreedo for $3600 for writing me a double script that my insurance would not cover. I had been emailing NP Cynthia Campos for several months in the epiphany patient portal and she does Not Respond. "Somehow my account was deleted!" That's no coincidence. She is intentionally malicious, negligent and very unprofessional and this office is a sham. Do Not go here. If you must, do Not see Cynthia Campos, she doesn't know what the hell she's doing, and her license needs to be revoked. read more

My father is in the beginning stages of dementia, so I've always been able to accompany him to the exam room to help him express his concerns and help him consent to a treatment plan (which I write down so he can remember). Today I was denied access stating that he couldn't have anyone enter with him; however, I watched 3 other couples enter or exit together. It appears it's a policy change for some of us but for others it is not. I was not notified of this policy change in advance, so I sat in the waiting room waiting and wasting my time while my father received care that he won't be able to explain to me. I will be seeking to find a different dermatologist with consideration for my father's lack of mental capacities. One that has consistent policies that apply to everyone instead of just a few. read more

Almost wish I could rate this place no stars, however, Cindy gives great service and it is not her fault that so many of this establishments entry level employees are incompetent beyond belief. There has been mix up after mix up on multiple visits where I've had to pay pending balances that the front clerks can never explain. The employees here are just god awful, plain and simple. I come here in hopes for a service that I pay for gladly, only to leave distraught to the point where the bottom of my belly hurts from the ignorance I've been forced to face. She is the ultimate reason for this review! I wish I knew her name. Hopefully my description will help others, she's usually at the front desk and I don't doubt she has lost countless customers due to her cluelessness. Oh my goodness where do I begin.. I was seen in the ER for this rash 3 times no one could idenitify it. I was given all these medications and ended up having reactions to all of them which also landed me in the ER, but on the final visit I got a referral to this Epiphany. Man my life was changed immediately! First the customer service was awesome! Secondly I saw a PA and he didn't rely on just his own expertise he called in a doctor to verify his findings. Now that's what I am used to. They also brought in a student so he can learn to identify certain rashes by sight. When I tell you that I was beyond happy to have a diagnoses that was not life threatening you don't even know. He even recommended I stop the antibiotics immediately! I called to today to schedule an appointment ,I told the clerk that I had a referral from my boss and that she highly recommended this establishment. She asked me for her name,phone nr and birthday. I gave her all the asked information, she than told me she had the next available on June 6th ,I told her I would like to take that appointment because I was leaving on vacation on the 15 th .She asked for my credit card information and the deposit of a 100$ which I gave her all the information. Been going to this place for a year. My insurance doesn't cover cosmetic procedures, so I normally pay up in the front before my visit. During my last visit I was asked if I had any questions about moles or spots on my body. I was like yes I actually have a small bump on my leg that I think is a cyst. BAM!!! 90 dollar bill for confirming my theory. Literally looked at it for two seconds!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OFFICE!! I am a military dependent who was sent here by no choice with a referral from Tricare. I had an appointment schedule and accidentally missed it because my husband was deploying, I understand this is no excuse however my mind was pre occupied. Please keep in mind I have never been seen at Epiphany before. I expressed my deep apologies to the office staff for missing the appointment and with no mercy a representative from Epiphany billing office on Mesa Hills insisted on collecting a $25.00 no show fee. She specifically told me a reminder was sent out to me via text message and that I should be responsible!!! In disbelief and frustration I expressed a negative review on Google prior to this one and within minutes a billing representative called me from the Epiphany headquarters. I spoke with Antonette who was very pleasant and understanding of my issue and kindly voided the fee. And she asked if she can make me an appointment at a different location which I agreed at Remcon circle. Today a staff member from Rmcon circle told me I can not be see at that location due to my referral assigning me to the Mesa hills location. With frustration I called Mesa hills to change my appointment to there location and upon my surprise the staff member proceeded to collect the no show fee of $25.00! I told her it had been waved and she knew of this WITH THE NOTES FROM THE CORPORATE OFFICE THAT IT HAD BEEN WAVED, still after talking to Cathy from their billing office she still insisted on collecting and that I could not be seen there untill that was paid! THIS MESA HILLS BILLING OFFICE IS RUDE AND MONEY HUNGRY AND HAS NO RESPECT FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR NEEDS!!! This office is disorganized and has the worst customer service ever! I called this office to find out my doctor Dr Kosarek had closed her practice and moved with this new company. I had seen my doctor last month with no need to return in 6 months and happened to run out of medication. When I called requesting refill a receptionist by the name of Mercy answered. She told me I had to come in if I needed a refill. I explained to her that I had already seen the doctor last month and only needed a refill. She told me since this was a new practice I was considered a new patient and needed to come in. I have a high yearly deductible and I paid my visit last month 100%, and I had to pay again for just a refill? She said yes, I asked for her to please ask the doctor and she refused. When I asked her how much I would have to pay if I came in to be prepared she said she couldn't tell me that they verify insurances on the day the patient comes in to the appointment. I was very unhappy about the fact my doctor didn't tell me she was closing and not giving enough refills and the fact that I have to pay again for just a refill on a medication I have been using for years. This girl Mercy talks to you in a tone that makes you feel she is doing you the favor and not willing to ask the doctor or help out or just be more understanding. I have a referral to be seen by a dermetalogist I was scheduled to be seen by one & was confirmed. I got to my appointment & was charged to be seen by specialist paid my fee for a dermatologist and waited in the room. Surprise I was unexpectedly seen by nurse practitioner.!!!!! Thats what I call a deception and malpractice. I called the manager, she is unprofessional and stated we can rescheduled you and later on to be seen by dermatologist doctor and pay the fee again!!!!!No thanks will never come back again with assembly manufacturers of people. Word of advise go to one small Clinc with dermatologist don't go to huge place where they don't care a bout patients but care about how to make more money. read more
