Dr. Kishan Shah Denver Colorado
Mike B.

Great experience all around! Dr. Shah was very thorough and answered all of my question. I was able to get in on short notice and left feeling at ease. Will definitely be back for my next dermatology visit.

I went and see dr Ashley on January 18/2021 for my appointment and it went well, nothing to complain. And i did make another follow up appointment in February 15/2021. But my scalp was still itch so i change my appointment to one week earlier. It went well and my scalp got so much better. Until I receive a letter of my statement and i did pay for my visit. But on August I received another bill and i called , they said it because I didn't show up on my appointment on February so they charge me $35 for not show up fee. I tried to explain to the staff that i did move my appointment one week early but they didn't remove me from the schedule book. And they said they will take care of it , I don't have to worry. I continued receive another two letters and I called them twice to have a look on my account, make sure I don't got send to the collector company. And total 3 time I called, the staff said they will take care of it. I end up got the letter from collector company on March 2022. I called and asked, so the staff this time said because I didn't show up on my appointment in August 2021 ( which I didn't make and got no reminders call/email about my appointment on August) and so the $35 no show up fee is my responsibility. I tried to explain but no hope. They said will call me back in 48h but it been 4 days and got no call. Overall, i just want to warn whoever about to receive treatment from this facility, they did a great job on my treatment but the billing team was horrible to handle situations. And i hope they did remove my name from the schedule book so I won't get any collector letter without knowing because it so hard to reach them.

Sat and listened to their hold message telling me how much they valued my time and patience for OVER 25 MINUTES. Uhhh.... no.

No idea what the actual medical treatment is like but my experience with their front-office was terrible. Tried to schedule an appointment. The website directed me to a form which I filled out. Shortly thereafter I received an email *assigning* me an appointment date and time... with NO opportunity to offer options or consideration of my personal schedule. The only option was to *call* them to change the appointment. Of course the arbitrarily assigned time didn't work for me so I called to change the appointment and was instantly placed on hold. I waited for 25 minutes (not an exaggeration - see image) and then gave up. I called back again later, finally spoke to someone and just canceled the appointment.

My experience over 10+ years of seeing Dr. Neyman has been outstanding. She is kind, considerate,…read moreprofessional, and yet she still takes the time and effort to be very personable. That is a VERY difficult balance to maintain, but she seems to do it effortlessly. I have seen her at least a dozen times over the years, and she has always impressed me with the level of care she provides. She has gotten to know me to the point that she asks about my family in specific terms. This helps create an interpersonal relationship which is very comforting and helps reduce the stress of what can sometimes be an anxious situation (i.e., allowing someone into your very "personal space" during an examination). In addition, her staff is very professional and efficient. I have never sat in the office for more than a couple of minutes while waiting to see Dr. Neyman. And they always contact me ahead of my appointments to make sure I don't forget (this is very helpful, as I have huge issues with managing my calendar). They also schedule future appointments before I leave, which I greatly appreciated. Most importantly, Dr. Neyman always takes as much time as necessary to ensure that she meets whatever needs have brought me into her practice, and she never cuts the interaction short until she is absolutely sure that she has taken care of all of my concerns and answered any/all questions I might have. The doctor/patient relationship is a very delicate and very intimate relationship...at least when it's done properly. Dr. Neyman does it exceptionally well. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Neyman !

My 86-yr-old mother was treated her by Dr. Kimberly Neyman. She was prescribed Imiquimod and one…read moreother cream. Both are chemotherapy drugs, and my mother wasn't informed of this. She came home from the appointment with no paperwork; no instructions, no warnings, no care. Her neck became so inflamed that she returned one week later to be sure this was normal; she was told it was. After 7 weeks of excruciating pain, 2 trips to the hospital with complaints of dizziness, cloudy-head, confusion, unable to walk steady and so uncomfortable that she pulled away from her family and friends due to depression, we finally went for another opinion. The other dermatologist was HORRIFIED that Dr. Neyman prescribed these two drugs concurrently and had my mom stop taking them immediately. This office has no clue how to work with elderly patients. I would not recommend them to anyone you love.

the clinic care is absolutely wonderful! i always feel well cared for and get immediate response…read morewhen needed for a specific problem. the business practice for billing is awful! they bill too early, they do not provide documentation of what has been paid by which coverage provider and frequently take our money and then have to send us a check to pay us back. i know, i should be thankful that they pay us back. but...

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Cara Mia…read more During my office visit, they attempted to remove a skin lesion using a cryotherapy procedure, which was billed to my insurance. I was told to wait seven days for the results. When it became clear that the procedure had been unsuccessful, I contacted the office 10 days after my original visit and returned to have the same lesion treated again. Because this was essentially a repeat of the same procedure on the same lesion--and because the first attempt was unsuccessful--I was surprised to later receive a bill for my patient responsibility after my insurance had also been billed. Even more concerning, I discovered that my insurance company had been billed twice for the same procedure. I have contacted my insurance company to report the apparent duplicate billing, and I have also tried to address the issue directly with Cara Mia. Unfortunately, when I have asked to speak with a manager, I have been given the runaround rather than receiving a clear explanation or resolution. I'm sharing this because billing transparency and good customer service matter. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Cara Mia.

I have never met someone with such a knowledge of skin and skin issues. She is by far the best in her field! I would recommend her to anyone.
