Can I give this shop more stars? I love this store for the beauTiful, handcrafted, stylish and beautiful items. I've purchased jewelry, gifts, artwork, room scents and candles and live every single one!

Our wedding venue was absolutely beautiful and the food tasted great, but dealing with the…read moremanagement caused a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion. We originally worked with Lisa, who was great, but when she was promoted, we were handed over to Megan, and things quickly went downhill. Megan was unprofessional, often agreeing to things in person only to change them over email, and she completely overturned agreements we had already solidified with Lisa. For example, our originally agreed-upon midnight end time was changed, and despite reaching a verbal compromise with Megan to play our last song at 11:45 PM, she stopped our wedding early at 11:30 PM anyway. On the day of the wedding, a guest actually found a small frog in her salad, and instead of taking responsibility, Megan was entirely dismissive. We also dealt with billing miscommunications that cost us over $1,000 for a tasting, though I will give the venue credit for eventually issuing a $500 credit to partially make up for it. To any couples looking to book this venue, be prepared to deal with a lot of worry and make sure you get everything in writing. Despite all of these major issues, we refused to let outside people ruin our experience and still had a great wedding, which is a reminder that regardless of where you do it, you should always just focus on enjoying the moment.

My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding at the Grove this past month. Their day was great…read morethanks to all their wonderful vendors they worked with but the unprofessionalism of the new banquet manager at The Grove's was ridiculous. It started by her adding approximately $1000 dollars of additional "charges" that were clearly 'included' in the contract if the banquet manager would have read the contract. The bride had to exchange countless emails/texts proving these additional items were included before the manager would remove them from the bill and would never acknowledge her mistakes. The banquet manager did not write most things down during discussions and this resulted in a lack of confidence that the wedding day would go as planned. It simply added unnecessary stress to the bride, groom and parents to the point as we had to remind her of the same things over and over again and even make 'day of' fixes to things that were incorrect. We lost so much confidence in this woman that we requested the old banquet manager be present the day of the wedding to help assure things would go smoothly. The final straw was when The Grove overcharged for the wedding cake by approximately $500 and blamed it all on the bakery. We reached out directly to the bakery and compared their invoice to the invoice The Grove provided and the difference of $500 was obvious. The problem was that BOTH invoices had the bakery's logo on them. So ONE of those invoices was 'doctored' to make it look like the bakery overcharged The Grove which was proven not true by the bakery! This entire thing appeared very dishonest and misleading. We brought this up to The Grove a couple days after the wedding(as to not affect the wedding day) and the Club Manager at The Grove promised to look into it. It's now been 2+ weeks with several emails and phone calls and NO RESPONSE AT ALL from The Grove!! All we are asking for is an explanation and a reimbursement for the obvious over charge. Anyone having their event at The Grove, please make sure you check your invoice thoroughly and be prepared to micro-manage the banquet manager on a daily basis leading up to your special day!

They are situated between Abbington Distinctive Banquets and Walmart. A more appealing and eye-catching sign would be helpful. They are open for open play on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at $14 per child. Dreamland Kids is an ideal indoor play center for young children up to six years old. It is a shoe-free zone but if you forget to bring your socks, they can provide non-slip socks. There are a few small cubbies to place your belongings and a few small tables with chairs for parents to sit and relax. Water and coffee are complimentary. There is no food available for purchase and customers are welcome to bring outside food and beverages. We met up with a friend and her two daughters here on a Wednesday. Our two families' four girls enjoyed the soft-play carousel and the ball pit with a climbing structure and slide in the main room. The general color scheme is very pink and pastel so that was very appealing to our girls. The slide is tubular and partially see-through so we can see our girls coming down the slide without going into the ball pit. There are two giraffe bouncy hoppers, one pink and one yellow, and two sit-to-stand vehicles, one white and one blue. Our girls took turns playing with those as well. Beyond this area, you will find a toddler room with a small slide, train table, and toys such as wooden ice cream. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. All of our girls are under the age of five and we spent approximately two hours there. When we were done playing, the owner let all four girls pick a little prize out of their box. It was a nice touch and it made leaving easier for the little ones.

Working with Jessica Trzop leading up to the event was easy and efficient; she had excellent customer service and ensured that everything we needed was accounted for. Upon arrival, I was surprised to not have known that someone else would be caring for us on the day of the event. I'm wondering if this shift caused things to be lost in communication, as we didn't have things such as the P.A. System and microphone set up, A-frame stands for our welcome sign, or a welcome table. We pivoted and worked through it. Our bartender was so grumpy and passive aggressive. But there was nothing to do about that in the moment either so we tried to kill her with kindness and shake it off. Overall, it ended up being a beautiful shower, the food was excellent, and we were able to persevere through the few hiccups we had.

Katie is literally the best! If you're wondering if you need new clothes given COVID, I would say…read morenow is a better time than ever since wearing the same comfy-but-not-cute outfits that have become a staple these past few months is starting to get depressing. How I got to Katie: After hearing me complain about not having the right clothes for the right occasions for years, my husband surprised me with a virtual introduction to Katie for our 5 year anniversary. He was a little nervous I would be insulted, but I agreed a wardrobe refresh was MUCH needed! I didn't realize exactly how badly I needed Katie until she came and did the closet clean out (wearing a mask of course). I already got rid of bags of clothes a few months prior, but she ended up getting rid of even more bags! Some things were over 10 years old and really had to go... And the whole thing was so fast I didn't have much time to lament over each item, which was a good thing. While this sounds scary I can say I don't miss anything I got rid of! Katie eagerly and deligently listened to what I was struggling with and looking for, and even sent me a few texts of things I requested (eg a tailor, storage solutions) minutes after leaving! The next phase was shopping! I was hesitant not to do this in the stores - it is an option to shop in-person with Katie, but she recommends bringing to you and thar customers love it. I'm SO glad I went this route. With the amount I had Katie get, it would've taken days if we did it together. I never had such a pampering, fun experience as trying on clothes brought to my home, hand picked for me, for hours with Katie! I had to even take a break to eat a bite at one point, but Katie kept going taking pictures of everything for the look book and laying everything out. She's a machine! Katie truly knows, lives and breathes fashion - and is super kind and customer focus. She was extremely responsive to both me and my husband throughout the process, and clearly cared about my happiness and satisfaction with the outcome. The look book is great because it pairs pieces I never would've thought too, which is exactly what I needed! I also can't believe as I scroll through that all this is now MY clothes Highly recommend!

Listen, if you're thinking about working with Katie... do it RIGHT now. She's literally as good as…read moreit gets. Katie will help you find great clothes, but what she really will give you is CONFIDENCE.... the kind of confidence where everything else in your life (money, relationships, career, etc) starts improving because you FEEL like a boss. I was first referred to Katie from a friend. My friend and I decided to both work with Katie to help us boost our self-esteem & get ready for the next chapter of our lives. Since then, I've hired Katie 4 times... that's how much I love working with her. The first 2 times were to redesign my wardrobe. I travel a lot and I only wanted clothes I LOVED in my suitcase. The outfits she put together were so good that I ended up doing photo shoots in them lol. Katie gave me vocabulary to explain my personal style and now that I'm clear on it, I get non-stop compliments on how I look. The 3rd time was to help my boyfriend (a musician and high school teacher) redesign his look. Working with Katie has impacted him so profoundly. I see him making bold moves at work that he was fearful of before... all because he feels more confident. I just emailed Katie again to ask her to help me for a 4th time. I'm speaking at a conference next week, so I'll be working with her again to find my stage outfit! Anyway, if you're on the fence about working with Katie, jump over the fence immediately. Working with her is an amazing investment in yourself! - Tara Reed (tech entrepreneur)
