Since you can't make a 'No' star rating this sedan service is unreliable and has the worst customer service. I found what I thought was a great deal on Amazon local and thought I would give Epic (fail) sedan a try. I made the reservations per the amazon local instructions which specifically stated a single reservation (remember this). So when we head out for our trip on Monday we are scheduled for a 7:15 pick up. Let's just say since you can't reach anyone real time just phone tree we got lucky when the driver who was on the phone tree thought he was close enough to call us as his phone only had 5% and he forgot the car charger. Luckily when he called me back close to 8 am he was not that far away and I could talk him to the house. He was apologetic and I was understanding as we were good on time given that he was dropping us at the door of the terminal. Except for the fact that the SUV only had 31 miles on the range and I know I am 40 miles from the airport. So we had to stop for gas. It was a comedy but we made it. So on the ride we talked about the return pick up and how we were to get in around 6:40 pm and with customs probably be out around 8 pm. I asked who might be picking us up and he mentioned it maybe him and he was the owner but someone else might have us. SO THIS WAS NO SURPRISE THAT WE WERE COMING BACK IN A WEEK AND IT WAS RIGHT ON THE RESERVATION. YOU KNOW THE SINGLE RESERVATION. So when we get back through customs early I make a phone call to tell them we're ready to get picked up. So first thing it's no answer and it goes to dispatch. I had to make a second call as they didn't call me back in 15 minutes like the recording says. The guy proceeds to tell me he would call me back. Notice he doesn't tell me his name. He calls me back in a few minutes and then proceeds to tell me that we did not have a return reservation and he did not have a vehicle available come pick us up. 'You see you had to make a return reservation in addition to the getting to the airport reservation.' I am looking at the reservation on my phone and all of the info is there. But he goes on about it's my problem. 'Take a cab and we will take you to the airport another time'. After really just venting over the crappy service he just hangs up. So I call Amazon local and request my refund. And call my family to come get us. What a FAIL. read more

I recommend reading reviews on Google, a couple of which mention a similar experience to mine: Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a service provider. Booked a drop off at the airport and a pick up two weeks later. I called the morning of the first leg to confirm. The owner told me to ask for a refund from Living Social (because they won't pay him, he said) and to pay him directly the amount offered in the Living Social deal. I reluctantly agreed but I should have seen it all going downhill at this point. I now suspect that many customers have had problems with Epic Sedan and that's why he's having problems getting payment from Living Social. In the first trip, the driver made no effort to help us with our bags, there was another person in the car to whom we were not introduced so we did not know if he was a passenger or a company employee. So we felt like we couldn't talk about any private matters as we did not know who he was. Turned out he was a trainee. The vehicle was a 10-year old, rattling SUV rather than a roomy sedan. I sat behind the driver and wound up with a cramp in my thigh due to lack of leg room. When we arrived, we were asked to sign an invoice that was overcharging us for the return trip in two weeks. One "extra charge" item was because, in the owner's judgement, we would only be available for pickup just after midnight as we would have to wait for checked luggage. This had not been explained to us during the booking process - only once we were already at the airport. The second problem was charging us an extra passenger fee for the return trip. But that extra person was only present on the first trip, not the second. When we got the owner on the phone, he asked the driver how much we tipped him (as if that was the determining factor in whether or not he would correct the invoice). We started our vacation angry and frustrated. On our arrival two weeks later, after 20 hours of flying and layovers, our driver was nowhere to be found. We waited 15 minutes and walked up and down the pickup lane looking for him. I left a message on their 800 number. 10 minutes later I got a call. He asked where we were and then told us the driver would be there in 10 more minutes. I told him if he was not there in 10 minutes we were taking a cab. 15 minutes later, while we were in a cab, the driver called and made excuses. We finally got home 65 minutes after getting our luggage off the carousel. We live 25 minutes from the airport. I paid $55 for a cab after having paid $50 to Epic and not getting picked up. The following day, the owner and I spoke He claimed they have an automated email that goes to the passenger at pickup time providing the driver's mobile number. I pointed out to him that, in my conversation with the driver, he did not seem to know that such an email was provided. The owner told me the drivers "don't have to know that". Long story short, it was just one lame excuse after another and he just laughed at me mockingly on the phone and said that he did not care what I had to say, he was not refunding my money. ----------------------- Update: I posted the above review a few minutes ago and then spotted Amazon Local offering a deal with Epic Sedan (but upon clicking on the deal, it stated, "No longer available"). I called Amazon and briefly warned them about Epic. After a few minutes the rep came back on the phone and told me they shut down that deal after numerous complaints from customers. She thanked me for having alerted them but they were already aware. She said they may also be operating under the name "Black Car". read more

I'm astounded at the other reviews here. Maybe they are fake to build the ratings? I booked my first attempt a month in advance, by way of both emails and phone calls, with email confirmation. This was for a 20 min ride to BWI. A week prior, I called to confirm, and was told 'they were too busy!" So, I had to scramble at the last minute for alternate transportation. However, even though he made a big point about how he DOESN"T DO AIRPORT PICKUPS, only dropoffs (what limo service does THAT?) -- he said he'd make it up to me by "making an exception" and I was offered to be picked up for my return flight in from Europe, FOUR WEEKS later. I thought I had learned my lesson, so before I left, I called and double and triple confirmed also by email, and went off on my trip. Four weeks later, only 20 min before landing back at BWI, as we were descending, the capt tells us emergency at BWI -- we're being rerouted to Philly for gas, but will land back at BWI less than one hour late. On the ground in Philly, I try calling Epic, but no answer, so I text his cell number (which he had given me prior) about my late arrival asking for response. Upon landing at BWI, I was surprised still no response. So I immediately call, and the guy answers sleepily, "Oh, didn't you get MY message? I'm overbooked and am not coming to pick you up!" WHAT? NOT AGAIN? Then, I check my voicemails, while trying to grab a shuttle service at the last minute, and there was a voicemail from only 2 hours earlier from the guy, saying HE WAS COMING BUT WOULD BE 45 MIN LATE. ??? Wait, didn't he just tell me on the phone that he wasn't coming at all? On the phone he never mentioned about being late, only that his message to me was that we was a NO-SHOW. AND, please tell me how I was supposed to get his message from only two hours earlier when I WAS UP IN THE AIR? and HAD been for 8 hours!!! Amusingly, he offered during that phone call to give me a 10% discount on my next booking. Ha! I think not... Update 10/14: It is now a year later after my horrible experience with Epic Sedans. After they left me STRANDED not once, but TWICE, I am shocked and surprised that they are still in business, and have more recent reviews claiming good service. I say claiming, because I read them, and think they sound pretty phony. They don't give examples, only say great service, are vague, and don't give details. One even says that she has recommended to friends and co-workers... I don't know too many people who not only can regularly afford private limo service, but whose FRIENDS as well as COWORKERS also somehow use and can AFFORD limo service. None of those positive reviews make sense to me, so if I were you, I would read between the lines. If you look closely at the bottom of this review page, you should also see several reviews that were HIDDEN for some reason, and coincidentally, ALL of them are not good reviews, but also have detailed accounts of the bad service provided by Epic. I ordered a taxi, to pick up a friend from my home, and bring her to the airport. I asked the taxi service to be at my home at 4:15, A.M. Then I crossed my fingers, and hoped I would not have to drive to that airport in my pajamas. The car arrived at 4:13, to early for me to begin to worry. I used Epic as a birthday treat for myself to travel to and from the airport stress free. The driver that picked me up didn't have a great command of English, and didn't read the address correctly, or the description of my car and home. The return trip was even worse. The driver told me to call him back at the same phone # he called me from. Unfortunately it was the office where no one was answering. I kept calling (11 times) until a smarty pants answered and acted like it was my fault. I waited an hour and a half for the driver. Then he didn't know where he was going and drove thru Baltimore, I was heading to Annapolis. Never again. read more

Our driver got us there on time, even though there were cars and trucks flying off the highway. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this service. read more

LEFT STRANDED AT AIRPORT EPIC SEDAN SERVICE ANNAPOLIS MARYLAND- DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE!! I prepaid for a round trip airport service from Epic Sedan Service out of Annapolis, MD. During my vacation I got 2 emails stating that the company was charging $20 additional gratuity to my card. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to tell me why. They had already charged an additional $30 gratuity to the pickup due to the early morning hour. After an 11 hour and 45 min red eye flight, I arrived at the airport- got luggage and no Epic Sedan Driver. I called the company- pressed every extension on recording... no live person. I called back 3 more times and finally someone in dispatch answered. I was told that the driver mistakenly went to my house and that he didn't know where the driver is at that time! I said I want someone to pick me up! He said "I don't know what you want me to tell you"!!! REALLY???!!! Then he said it would be at least 48 min before the driver could get to the airport and he would call me to update me. He never called me- never came in 48 minutes... I called about 5 more times... no one ever answered... I will never use this company again... read more

I used Epic Sedan Service on 11 October to go to and from the Adele concert at the Verizon Center from Crofton. I made the initial reservation request on 9 October, and was given a quote for point-to-point service for a Lincoln Towncar to take us to DC for $79.50 and then to bring us home to Crofton for $91.59. On 10 October, I received a call from Epic stating that this would normally be an hourly rate rather than point-to-point. I told them that I didn't want to do an hourly rate as we were getting picked up at 5pm to go to DC and not leaving until 11pm, and that I would rather use Uber than pay the hourly rate. The individual I spoke to said he would have to check on it, and that he would call me back. He called back within 15 minutes and said that they would be able to do point-to-point service and that he would send me a confirmation. I received an email confirmation later that day, and it clearly stated that we reserved a Lincoln Towncar. It didn't have the price listed, but I assumed that it was the same price that was in the original quote. On 11 October, I received an email stating that the driver had arrived. I looked outside and didn't see a car. I called the number given, and they said that the driver was there, but wasn't in a Lincoln - being as we didn't have luggage, they sent a small Hyundai. I went outside and spoke with the driver of that car and he confirmed he was with Epic. I told him I was expecting a Lincoln and he was unaware of that - his reservation stated a sedan and said that on point-to-point rides they will use the cars they have available and that this was his personal car. I will say that the driver, Bruce, was extremely professional and timely, and I would highly recommend him and use him as a personal car service at any time. I contacted Epic on 12 October and told them that while the driver was timely and very professional, we had contracted for a Lincoln Towncar and that was not what was delivered. I told them that I didn't think I should pay the same price for a small Hyundai and expected that there should be a discount. As I had to provide my credit card when I made my reservation, Epic charged it directly at that time and didn't provide a receipt. I decided to check my credit card on-line, and saw that not only was there not a discount for the smaller car, but they actually charged me more!! The trip in to DC was quoted at $79.50 and they charged me $91.59. Epic's response to my complaints was that their app gives the quote and it wasn't correct, that it was actually $91.59 and that they got me there and back on time so what was the problem? I again reiterated that I did not expect to pay the same price for a small Hyundai as for a Lincoln Towncar, I definitely don't expect to pay MORE than the contracted price. Absolutely horrible service! I made a reservation 2 months in advance for round trip transport for my family of 4 to BWI airport. I clearly stated on the reservation that we had 4 people and 4 suitcases. First of all, I never received a call from anyone to confirm my reservation. I even called to confirm but got their answering machine and never received a call back. Secondly, the driver shows up late with a town car that doesn't fit our luggage. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get the bags in the car since we had no other choice. After some stress and sweat we made it to the airport just in time. The driver, who was a nice enough guy, assured me that they would have a car there for us upon our return. Prior to our return back to BWI, I never received confirmation via phone or email stating that we would be picked up so I called and left another message. I never received a return call so I kept my fingers crossed hoping someone would be there to pick us up. After getting our luggage we went outside looking for an "Epic" car but they were not there. I called another dozen or so times but kept getting their answering service. We waited outside with our young children for an hour and then gave up. They never returned my call that night and still haven't responded to me. We ended spending $125 with another limo service at the airport so we could get home after our long journey. What a way to end a family vacation! As a businessman who travels for business weekly, I have never received such terrible service from a company who is in the "service" industry. I would not recommend this fly by night company to my worst enemy. I didn't even get the chance to step into an Epic Sedan before I knew better than to use their services. Arrogant and cocky are what I received for customer service. I had a Living Social voucher. I made my reservation 2 months in advance and they sent a confirmation...with an added $35. $20 for added gratuity, and $15 for early pick up. I said I would be happy to change the pick up time to avoid the extra charges, and the guy said I would still be charged. Added gratuity for what????? The service I didn't receive? No thanks. Skip over this so called business when looking for reliable service. It starts with customer service, and if you can't pull that off well then forget about it!
