I explained that I had never received either. She then stated that, on their end, the text showed as "read," so they proceeded with canceling my appointment without receiving any actual confirmation from me. I showed her the most recent text I had received from SEV, which was regarding completing my forms, which I had already done. After seeing how understandably upset I was, she told me they could squeeze me in. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve from there. The nurse who performed my treatment was not pleasant or welcoming and provided very limited information. Given the confusion and frustration surrounding my appointment, I would have appreciated some reassurance, professionalism, and basic bedside manner. Instead, I felt uncomfortable and rushed, as though I was simply another number. Additionally, an area of my forehead appears to have been missed due to the headband I was instructed to wear during the procedure. At checkout, I was told their payment kiosk was not working, so a payment link would be sent to my phone. The link never arrived, so it was eventually sent to my email instead. At that point, I asked the front desk associate to confirm which phone number they had on file. She read the number back to me, and it was NOT my phone number. She then corrected it. What makes this especially frustrating is that SEV had previously been able to text my correct phone number regarding my forms, yet when they attempted to contact me about modifying my appointment, they were apparently using a completely different number. Despite contacting the wrong number, they canceled my appointment because they claimed the message showed as "read." I find it completely unacceptable to cancel or change a patient's scheduled appointment without actually receiving confirmation from the patient especially when the office was contacting the wrong phone number. The entire experience was handled poorly and lacked the professionalism, courtesy, communication, and bedside manner I would expect from a medical aesthetics practice. I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed rather than cared for as a patient. The price was fair and the location was aesthetically nice. Unfortunately, based on overall experience, I will not be returning to this location.

Kiana then informed me that my hair was too long for laser treatment, which she couldn't perform due to its length. I told her it's been two days since I shaved and she said she couldn't. I declined her suggestion to return for another appointment since I had driven for 45 minutes from Elk Grove, and it was challenging to get away with four young children. I asked if there was a razor available for me to use, and she agreed but noted that it might not be as effective since their razors did not work well and she stated that she doesn't want to be late for the other clients. It's worth mentioning that she was running about 10 minutes late for my appointment. It's obvious it's not a business based on customer service and making you feel comfortable. I have 5 more sessions left, but I had the front desk note on my account that I do not want to be booked with her again. Overall, I found Kiana to be impolite, unprofessional, rude and lacking in bedside manners.

I scheduled a Morpheus8 treatment and waited months for my appointment. Upon arrival, RH Aesthetic drew approximately 100 mL of my blood as part of the planned procedure. Only after drawing my blood was I informed that I was not a candidate for treatment based on an assessment that, in my experience, was inaccurate. My concern is not that they declined to perform the procedure. Providers should always exercise clinical judgment when appropriate. My concern is that a thorough consultation and candidacy assessment should have occurred before any blood was drawn. At the time, I was anemic, making the situation even more concerning. Drawing blood and then determining a patient is ineligible for treatment reflects poor screening and questionable clinical workflow. Patients trust medical spas to make these determinations before initiating any part of a procedure. Since then, I have undergone multiple Morpheus8 treatments elsewhere without issue and was considered an appropriate candidate. While my views on Morpheus8 technology itself have evolved over time, that is separate from this review. The issue is the lack of proper assessment before proceeding with treatment preparation. This experience left me feeling that patient care and safety were secondary to process and appearance. For that reason, I cannot recommend RH Aesthetic and am leaving a one-star review. There are many qualified providers who take the time to properly evaluate patients before beginning treatment. I encourage prospective clients to do their research and choose a provider that prioritizes thorough consultation, patient safety, and professional clinical judgment.

Throughout the appointment, there were also several comments about how "brave" I was because the wax was very hot. My skin was extremely red afterward, which was upsetting and uncomfortable. I understand that waxing is an imperfect service and that eyebrows will never be perfectly identical, but I went in asking for a simple cleanup and left feeling much worse about my appearance. What made the experience particularly difficult was that the technician recognized that the brows were not coming out well but still chose not to correct the issue in the way I was requesting.
