Extremely unhappy with the way I was cared for at this salon. I wanted a perm and did some calling…read morearound and research to find someone skilled in this area. I saw they had someone here that appeared capable. I was scheduled for a consultation. When I went in for the consultation, the hair stylist doing the actual perm wasn't even the one who conducted the consultation. The girl who did conduct it took pictures of my hair and felt it and I left after five minutes. I received a phone call later saying the integrity looked good and we could go ahead with the perm. I was scheduled and came in and all was fine until the perm was rinsed. My hair felt like ramen, and was over processed. There was little to no curl and my hair was frizzy, gooey mess. Instead of being honest, the stylist put me under a heater, brushed through any curls that actually maintained, and put tons of product in my hair in an attempt to make it appear wavy/curly. I noticed she went to the front desk to tell the receptionist something and then came back and said 'all done. Give it a few days and then wash it out and it'll be good'. When I paid, they knocked $35 off the total price (clearly showing they knew they messed up) without even telling me. I went home and was bawling. I couldn't touch my hair, the texture was awful and there was so much product I couldn't even brush it. I called the salon and let them know how unhappy I was and how terrible it looked and felt. They told me to wait a few days and wash it and then call. I waited a few days and washed it. My hair felt disgusting and even worse than before. I couldn't brush it or hair would fall out in small clumps. I called and I demanded a refund so that I could go elsewhere and try to salvage it. They refused due to wanting to maintain "integrity of the salon". They offered to fix it and feeling I had no other choice, I returned. They put in a protein treatment which did nothing. I ended up with 10 inches cut off and a short bob. I am furious with the way the situation was handled and that I lost all my hair and had to pay for that experience. You are the professionals, and should know what you're doing. If you don't, tell your client, don't pretend you know what you're doing and then ruin their hair. I understand that there is potential for accidents in the world of hair, but I feel with a proper consult and communication, this could have been avoided. Do not come here. They care more about their "InTeGrItY" than they do their clients.
