I decided what candies I wanted and I say something like " I'm ready now". And with an attitude in her voice she says "just a second I'm finishing with them first". Despite the fact that I had walked in first and we were both in the same position just looking. I understand wanting a younger kid to have a really good experience but I was there with a kid too I mean an older one but yeah just rude. They ended up not even getting anything at all so all that nastiness was for no reason.

Ridiculous I said , talk to the manager and he said all wo.e s hair has to be in a bun, contradictory to what their sign shows. If it were waistline length understandable, but definitely not at shoulder length hair. My daughter had her hair in a long tail that came to top of her shoulder which is approved according to atomic city sign but refused to allow her to ride. I must say that it was pretty impressive overall, and definitely a great 5 star experience, and all of us had a great time and will be back. There were just a few areas of improvement, but overall a great time. There are different game formats/objectives you play, as well as different courses. The 'referee' guiding you to/through the courses was excellent in explaining the rules and boundaries of that game. Great attitude as well (someone else playing on my team that wasn't part of my group had been there several times and said the referee always has a great attitude and approach). Great value, considering the time of play and different aspect of it compared to the typical indoor format. They also have laser scopes to help pinpoint your aim! The only 2 'negatives': 1) paint residue - Maybe it was on their website and I didn't see it, but some of the courses you play laser tag on are the same courses used for paintball. So there is some paint residue at a few spots. I knew to wear jeans since there might be some mud, but wasn't thinking of wearing an old shirt for possible paint. Luckily, it came out in the wash, but I will be better prepared for next time. 2) The game format is different than indoor - For indoor, it's typically "shooting fish in a barrel" most of the time, given the limited space. For this format, you get fewer kills/hits, because there is a lot more space, and it's (IMO) a lot more fun. It also depends on the number of people playing. So you may not find this as much fun if you are the type that has to have 1,593 kills in a 15 minute session. The slight negative with this is that during open play (when you may not remember exactly who is on your team, nor where they are on the course), it might be difficult to know exactly how many are left in the 'elimination' mode. So maybe a suggestion to the referee to periodically call out "red team has ___ left, blue team has ___ left".

I took my children to play 2 games of laser tag on Father's day weekend on Saturday. We made the drive to belleville as we have always enjoyed the place in the past. The place was kind of empty so I approached the front desk clerk and asked if they had a game coming up with lots of people to which she said yes and that 37 people were in the next game, this was a lie. I asked if the 3 of us could get in that game she said yes. She sold us tickets to that game for $22.50, and told us the next game with people in it was at 6:20p (about an hour after our 1st game) so i told her to put us in that game as well for another $22.50, as weren't in a hurry. They called our 1st game at 5:20 and we went into the briefing room to find only 10 people (not 37 as she told me) but we were there so we put on our gear, all of which had broken straps which was challenging for my 6 yr old. We entered the arena the game started, and none of our vests or guns lit up. We had to walk back to the chamber and the official manually turned on all of our vests and guns one by one. We exited the vesting room with 13 minutes left of a 15 minute game with nearly 1/4 the players I was told would be playing and walked around a mostly empty arena talking to ourselves. I stupidly didn't complain after the game about the either willful mismanagement of the female desk clerk or her gross incompetence. I decided to hope for the best in game 2, so we waited patiently for 40 minutes and watched two games with 30-40 people go in and play at 5:40 and 6pm. They called the 6:20 game and we entered the briefing room. We then suffered through the two teenaged employees playing embarrassing and loud flirty games with each other inside the briefing room with the man/boy continuously taunting the girl, and demanding she marry him for 5 straight minutes. No other player entered the room and they closed the door to begin briefing the three of us. I stood up and said "really? just the 3 of us? I don't think so, can I get my money back?" They escorted me back the same girl working the desk. I requested my money back as everything she told me was a lie and explained that we weren't going to play in that huge arena with just the 3 of us. She walked away and came back with 3 cards on which she wrote her initials and handed them to me and said we could come back and play a free game next time. I asked her "so you won't refund my money then?" She said "No, they want us to handle this sort of thing with free passes". I laid them back on the counter and told her to keep the free passes and my money as I wouldn't be coming back. I told them I would be posting my review on every website I could to ensure that as many people as possible could be made aware of how this establishment does business. I do not recommend them, and I will not go back to be treated the way we were treated. There are far too many choices for our entertainment dollars in this area to be lied to and mistreated and then refused a refund of our hard earned dollars when they don't deliver the entertainment for which I have paid. These people must be under the impression that they are the only laser tag/movie theatre/restaurant in st louis, they are not.

And then we went axe throwing for about an hour. The staff was very helpful in teaching us how to throw axe properly. Overall was a good time.
