The staff is the most friendly anywhere in LI. The pizza is perfect. Grandma Ala vodka, is our go to. But the other items on the menu are so good. Their wings are exceptional!! Top three for me on LI. Their pasta dishes, salads, heroes, are all amazing. We like to go on Friday nights and everyone can order something different. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!!

My kids don't like basil, and the fact that they already know our order the second we call ("Margherita, no basil") says everything about their consistency and customer service. The pizza is always spot-on: crispy crust, great sauce, perfect cheese melt -- and they somehow get it right every single time. Plus, they're a lifesaver for those last-minute orders after kids' sports practices. Always open, always reliable, always delicious. What we love: * Perfect margherita pizza (custom order always remembered!) * Reliable for last-minute takeout * ‍‍ Super friendly staff who know their regulars * Consistent quality -- never misses Luigi's is everything you want in a neighborhood pizza spot -- friendly, dependable, and consistently great pizza. A Mineola favorite.

Spagetini is truly one of the most amazing Italian restaurants and pizzerias I've ever been to…read more I've become a regular, and every single time I come here, I'm amazed by the food, hospitality, and overall experience. I've tried so many things on the menu--from their incredible pastas and seafood to their pizzas--and honestly, the quality and creativity feel far beyond what you'd expect, even from upscale Italian restaurants. The hospitality here is just as impressive. I'm always treated like family, especially by the pizza chef, Jay, who always makes the experience even more special. And this hot honey pepperoni slice? Absolutely incredible. The combination of sweet, spicy, and salty comes together perfectly in every bite. What really amazed me is how the pepperoni folds up into a little bowl, holding all that delicious hot honey inside. Such a creative touch and an unforgettable slice! Spagetini never disappoints.

The lobster special was very good, but the lobster/shrimp/corn bisque was just about the best I ever had. My dinner was the seafood fra Diablo- shrimp, clams, mussels, squid over pasta....one of the very few 5 stars I'd give out. Portions are substantial, bear lying leaving room for the home made peach cobbler. Outstanding!

After more than forty pilgrimages to Grimaldi's, the baseline truth remains unshakeable: that…read moreblistered, black-spotted crust is a direct line back to the old country. The strategy here is simple. You order a pie--half pepperoni, half prosciutto. The prosciutto does exactly what it needs to do, but the pepperoni is the real headline act. It curls, it crisps, and it pools just enough oil to marry perfectly with a crust that achieves that rare, holy grail combination of thin, crispy, and subtly chewy. Dozens of pies later, it's still a ritual worth repeating. Food (4/5): The thin, crispy crust is the star of the show, and the pepperoni is dialed in to perfection every single time. Customer Service (4.25/5): Sharp and efficient. Decor (3.5/5): Unpretentious and classic. It carries that timeless, red-and-white checked tablecloth energy that focuses your attention exactly where it belongs: on the pie. Price: Around $17.50 per person. For a wonderful, sit-down brick oven pizza experience, it remains an absolute steal.

I came here recently on a weekday to meet up with two friends. There's a big, free parking lot in…read morethe back which is very convenient. There's also "one hour parking" in the front on the street but I didn't see any meters so I'm not sure how they're enforcing the one hour so I just parked in the back lot to be safe. The restaurant has indoor seating as well as outdoor seating both in the front (3 tables) and back. Separate men and women single bathrooms were in the back as well. My friends and I opted to sit inside with the air conditioning because outside seating was still a bit toasty due to the weather that day. We met up around 12:30PM and the restaurant was pretty empty at that time. I ordered their Lunch Special which was a 12 inch personal pie with a 16 Oz soda ($15.60). I got a sweetened iced tea instead of the soda. I wanted a topping (mushroom) so that was an additional $5. The iced tea was wayyy too sweet for my taste and the pizza wasn't that great either. Too much crust, not enough sauce and barely any mushroom topping. The 12 inch size though was filling and I didn't have any leftover. Due to the restaurant being pretty empty the time we were there, it was nice to be able to chat with my friends and we weren't rushed. I'm not sure if I would return as the food did not stand out at all.
