Root Canal: Anxious no more after 10+ years! I didn't feel a thing…read more I have had severe anxiety going to the dentist since I was a child due to a traumatic experience. Today was a huge step getting a root canal procedure done for the first time in years. Got one done as a child and have been terrified ever since. I even started to tear up at the office. After my procedure not only have I been freed of anxiety, but now I am more confident going to get the rest of my procedures done. Dr. Oh and dental assistant Daniel were fantastic, very quick and through. Daniel made me feel at ease as he explained the procedure. He mentioned it was the easiest procedure to do and that Dr. Oh has had years of experience. I didn't feel a thing (not even the numbing needle). I thank God for everyone there and to finally be healed from this trauma after many years. May God bless this practice with abundance for years to come!

My technician was kind, but she did have a few different personal conversations on the phone during my 15 minute whitening. Donna explained everything very well and walked me through the steps as she did them. However, at the end of my session, there were very bright fluoride stains on my teeth and the one dark spot on my teeth was extremely visible. It really freaked me out and I wasn't even able to pay attention to the whitening of the rest of my teeth because I was internally having a panic attack. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that this is normal and to be expected but that everything will fade so that the white and dark spots aren't epically noticeable. When I asked about them, I was told that there's nothing that could be done except hope that it fades, that most people have spots like these and that a lot of people can whiten their teeth to the absolute extreme and you'll still see those brighter white spots on their teeth... yikes! Although she was so kind to me, I am really wary about returning or pursuing any other teeth whitening experience because I was so shaken up by the fear that I was going to have bright white splotches on my front teeth forever. Thankfully, these did fade starting about 15 minutes after I left. But I was still so obsessed checking to see how noticeable these stains were after leaving that I'm never even took the time to evaluate whether my teeth were brighter.
