very expensive. I literally waisted hundreds of dollars. Maxi gave good advice ( but it wasn't 100 per cent correct) Also, what was worse, he was hired to take a sample off of some papers. He didnt find anything; apparently he could only use one piece of tape for each 175 dollar testing. Not soon after; a renowned mold company most certainly did find mold when they cleaned the same papers. Environmental Solutions are friendly, but I wish I never hired them. read more

I was freaking out when I found mold all around my bathroom. I called a plumber and they told me to get the area tested first and I'm so glad I did! The ESI rep I talked to on the phone was super helpful and had a technician come out and look at the area and take samples 2 days later. I was panicking thinking I would have to basically rip out everything in the room, but they gave me a report with exactly what needed to be removed and replaced for the contractor to follow. After a very expensive and extensive remediation of our entire basement, we hired ESI to do post-remediation verification testing. I felt like it was just a formality - I was sure the thorough company we hired would pass - but since we paid so much, we felt we should do the testing. We couldn't be more grateful that we did, because our remediation failed testing four times! I cannot say enough great things about our inspector, Bryan. He was so thorough, spotting mold in hard to see spots that our remediators missed. He so clearly and kindly answered my many questions, and he was very knowledgable about mold and remediation (which you can't say about a lot of contractors in this industry!). I am very sensitive to mold, but now after Bryan's inspections, I feel confident I'll be able to spend time in my basement without reacting. I'd recommend that those with mold illness hire Bryan for your PRV testing. read more

This company is reprehensible! They have done mold testing at my job and at my home (the irony) and they are in business to deceive! They use certified indoor environmental specialists to do testing that will be favorable to businesses! BEWARE! I watched the testing at my home: The specialist that tested my home used a moisture meter- in which is deceptive because most businesses repair water damage before testing is administered. He took lots of pictures...and they were areas of concern...cracking in the walls...an area where a leak had occurred...rippling in the ceilings and walls. He asked me if I had HIV! Yes, deplorable. He ran a machine that he had rolled in that looked suspect. I asked if he was going to get an air sample and he said that the machine was actively getting one at that time. He had the maintenance guy to open the door to the HVAC to inspect the HVAC but did no testing there. He swabbed an area above my refrigerator and that was it. Because I've seen a proper mold testing done, I realized that the 25 L of air that he pulled was so that they could get limited testing to help businesses because the lab analysis will consistently show low spore counts when pulling small amounts of air! Notice that ESI may inspect the HVAC but I haven't seen where they run any tests on it... the HVAC is huge and should be tested for the air that is spewing from it. Notice that only businesses rave about this company! ESI is a vendor specifically marketed to businesses! Those whom are being affected are the ones putting out the truth regarding this shady business! read more

Stay away or prepare to pay. We had them out to test a bathroom that smelled bad. We had been running the dehumidifier and just wanted to be sure all was back fine. They said they found a common mold at elevated levels. Good to know and not hard to deal with, but they sent the report to the city to blackmail us into needing to give them more money. Now we get to pay top dollar as we have no choice but to work with them to do remediation at high prices and get to pay them an additional $700 to get an "all clear" report to get our house out of hock from the city. Go to ANYONE else as dealing with these people is worse than dealing with mold. read more

This company is terrible. They told us we didn't have mold and then the floor boards fell off and were covered in black mold. Been sick for months and he told me it was just "allergies." Filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Very unethical. read more

Most unethical company ever. They tested our bathroom for mold, and would not release the results to us, even after they had been paid, and acknowledged that the results were ready. They provided the results to our insurance company, but withheld them from us, the property owners... If dangerous mold were found in a home, wouldn't it be advisable that the first person to be informed would be the occupant? They had the results for weeks, and never said a word to us... I had the pleasure of working with ESI after my HVAC backed up into my home while I was in the hospital after I had a baby. ESI was prompt in their response to my home, very knowledgeable, communicated everything to my insurance when they didn't have to and turned the report around before their 7-10 business day standard. When ESI had to return for a post test, they called before they arrived so I was prepared for their arrival.
