We called Denton Peterson Dunn for assistance with vacating a judgment after we found a reasonably…read morenecessary detail regarding its untimely renewal. We had the good fortune to work with Mr. Samuel Dampt, who was able to meet with us immediately and explain the entire process. He was attentive and professional and began working on our case without delay. His prompt filings and communications about the next steps and well-researched and organized responses with the courts guided us through the seven months it took to resolve our case. His attention to detail, incredible communication skills, and ultimate level-headed performance in the final oral argument won our case. It gave us the closure to put this final chapter behind us. We could not be happier with the fantastic team at Denton Peterson Dunn that worked diligently to get us a result that we could not have imagined when we first called with our questions about the validity of it all. While I recommend that you call this fantastic firm because their knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy are the best, you probably need to know that the cost isn't even a fraction of what we expected to pay for resolution. Their rates are beyond reasonable for the attention and results you'll get. If you need to resolve any civil litigation, these are the people you need to get in touch with. Excellent!

My husband and I were in a car accident on July 31, 2026 and I really wanted to go with this law…read morefirm because I really liked the way they portrayed their firm on their advertisements on tv but looks can be deceiving. As their ad states "Do your research." I spent 30 minutes speaking with the intake representative about the accident. She then connected us with an attorney. He informed us that I had a strong case with liability, but my husband didn't, despite being the driver and sustaining a more severe injury. The attorney also mentioned that there wasn't much of a case because no one sought medical attention, there was no blood, and no broken bones were reported. It's sad to think that these are the criteria used to decide whether a case will be taken or not. The attorney said it seems like a road rage incident because my husband honked his horn at the other driver, and we rear-ended him because he braked suddenly. At no time was this a road rage incident. My husband used the horn solely as a warning to alert the other driver that we were already traveling in that lane after the driver unexpectedly entered our path. The horn was intended as a defensive measure to help prevent a collision, not as an act of aggression. My husband wasn't even cited for anything! It appeared to me that the attorney failed to comprehend the details of the accident we were explaining. It sounded like the attorney advised against using your horn and simply letting someone hit you. This didn't make sense to me, so we decided to seek advice from another well-known firm that disagreed with this approach. Furthermore, the attorney was displeased that my husband was arguing with him and persistently insisted to the attorney that it wasn't a road rage incident. However, the attorney refused to listen and it was frustrating my husband. The attorney claimed that he wouldn't tolerate someone screaming at him, but my husband was in another room and was speaking loudly, which was definitely not screaming at this attorney. I was deeply disappointed that this attorney refused to gather all the facts and genuinely listen to a potential client. This experience with this law firm taught me a lesson "listen to your gut and stick to your truth."

I looked forward to meeting with Bert Millett as he was so highly recommended from people in my…read morechurch and financial advisors. After $675 I had more questions than answers. I wanted to know if a real estate contract I had would protect me to stay in my house until a mutual closing date of 5 or more years. Also house being sold as is and buyer to maintain 2 ¾ acres along with paying for irrigation and leasing pasture. Could I use the contract as it stands or does verbiage need to be changed etc. I was told don't sell. Wait 5 years and then put it on the market as it most likely would go up in value. I wanted the contact. I didn't want to wait for another buyer in 5 years. I could move up the closing anytime as long as I gave the buyer 60 days notice. Bert said I would not be protected. I asked what I needed to do. He said a real estate contract would not protect me to continue to live there. He suggested a life estate. I didn't think a life estate would work. I am only aware of those in your death they go to the person named with no money in exchange. I wanted the named details in the real estate contract. Asked again what kind of contract or form do I need to put this on so I am protected with my property rights. He said he could draw something up but it would be costly $2500. He asked if I would want the form emailed to me. I would. The form I got was not what I expected. I thought it would have a form number on it and be some kind of contract form I should use instead of the real estate contract. The form I was sent was to hire Bert with a retainer of $3500. Plus more for his hourly fee or other fees for people in his office. Wow what a surprise. I have a contact. I can't imagine it costs that much to rewrite my contact. I didn't want anything changed. Just verbiage if needed. I was not even told what was wrong with the contract I had. That is what my initial payment I thought was for. Someone experienced in contracts should not take this many hours to write a real estate contract. The buyer is a broker. The contact was run by the title company already. Please people go somewhere else where you can get answers. This attorney milks you and even changes prices.
