Free play really reduces the frustration that many older games can cause, since I could just keep continuing. I don't know that I would want to return too soon because I beat most of the games I wanted to play, but I do look forward to returning sometime in the future.

This decision alienates people and contributes to the scalping culture that harms the community. Just went to browse in the back for retro stuff and the guy working there left his counter to tell me about some deals. Told him I was just browsing and he wouldn't shut up about these Gamestop-esque deals. I really did not care and it was extremely uncomfortable. I asked about the pricing and instead of a normal conversation, the staff became defensive and rude. One employee kept asking me to repeat myself, then made a comment about my appearance when I questioned the prices. Another employee handled it more professionally and simply said "that's just the price," which I respected. I understand local stores have overhead and can charge above online value, but customer service matters. If someone asks about pricing, that shouldn't turn into hostility. Left with a bad impression overall.
