I just got a call from Enterprise on Teton Ave in Tualatin and the Agent says "You have an issue with us and owe $325!" I said "For what?" and he said "I don't know!" I said I haven't rented from Enterprise for a long time. He said "It was from Oct 2023 do t you remember? I said " do you remember what you had for lunch last Wednesday? Why don't you tell me?" no people don't have recollections like that and if I had a problem with enterprise at the time, they would've said something to me so I believe it's probably just a mistake in your computer. Why don't you verify it and get back to me? He said let me give you this number and I said I can't take the number right now. Please email it to me and he said here take the number down. I said I can't take the number down unless you email it to me then forget it. Any seem to have a problem with wanting to email that to me so I hung up on him . I called my insurance agent and ask him to set up a new rental with another company and doing that right now. Buyer beware working with enterprise . Because this guy basically called me to try to get $325 from me or something that he can tell me what was for and only that it happened in October 2023 and all that sounds very sketch to me. If I had a problem back in 2023 why didn't they contact me back in October 2023? So I think it's probably just something big Scam, and it was the actual Enterprise Rent-a-Car that was calling me. read more

Walking in for a pickup appointment at 9am. Manager was kind but they were clearly very understaffed. He told some of us waiting he had someone not show up to work and that half of the staff was being trained. I waited an hour and a half for my vehicle. read more

My car had broken down so I had to get a rental car. I called and set up a reservation for 5 o'clock. I had to wait for a tow truck and then wait for an Uber to come get me to take me to this location and when I realized I was probably going to be a little bit late I called. They had me on hold for over 15 minutes and then just hung up. When I showed up at 5:15 the lady inside wouldn't even listen to me just shook her head no and mouth. There's nothing she can do. There were three customers inside, but she would not unlock the door and listen to me. She just dismissed me like I was nothing. I looked up if there is a grace period and there is supposed to be a 30 minute grace period with your reservation but she wouldn't even give me the 15 minute grace period. read more

They took care of me when I needed a car ASAP and even when I had found an issue with my rental they got me in a better one with no hassle! And these cars are SO CLEAN! First, I must point out that I rarely review businesses online, preferring to voice any issues I may have to the business management directly, however sometimes an online post is both warranted and appropriate. That said, I rented a box truck from the Enterprise location in Tualatin, OR expecting to move some business product between two locations over the following 4-day period. Preferring to do as much as possible online I used the enterprise online ap to reserve the truck. This was beyond a doubt the most user-friendly online rental process I have ever used - and I rent vehicles close-to a dozen times each year. The online process was so seamless and streamlined that, even though I had received a confirmation email I simply had to follow-up with a phone call, believing I must have done something incorrect. Speaking with the Assistant Manager, e.g., Heather - I discovered that I had in fact done everything correctly, and to take this one step further, Heather even confirmed the truck size I needed, time of pick-up and return time - just to put my mind at ease, but that in itself isn't the reason for my review, which is actually what followed 1 day after my rental began. I unexpectedly had to drive twice the distance which was to Camarillo CA, 1000 miles from my starting point, wherein upon having the truck loaded with my business product I discovered the outside sidewall of one of the two dual rear wheels was completely blown out. Having had an entirely uneventful 1000 mile drive I was at a loss as to how this had occurred, and very concerned as to whether on a Friday evening at 4:00 PM, there would be a remedy that would have me back on the road for my 16-hour return. I immediately phoned Enterprise in Tualatin, OR and my call was answered by the assistant manager (Heather) again. Long story short - she got all relevant information regarding my exact location and the tire issue before bringing in the Manager of the Tualatin Enterprise location, i.e., Jason, and between the two of them had me back on the road within 2-hours. While this may seem like an easy process, when you factor in (1) this was a Friday evening, (2) the truck was not able to be driven to a location, especially before closing on a Friday evening, and (3) the necessity of finding the correct tire size, this was a case where time certainly was of the essence. Nevertheless, calls & arrangements were made, entirely without my having to lend a hand, even though I would have been glad to assist. Better yet, I was kept appraised of what was happening and who would be arriving and when - the whole step of the way. This was service! Exceptional service, and as a businessman myself I have to give credit to just how professional and empathetic both Jason and Heather were in handling my emergency in a manner that truly put their customer service skills to the test. Used to have good experience here but not in year 2020. Maybe a wired year but 1. My rental got downgraded at the time I was picking up the car; 2. Calling for switch car multiple times at Teton location, always pushed to Tigard or Barbur location; 3. When returning the car, the 'Manager' told me there's a dent on the roof of the sedan saying I'm responsible for it. (So remember to check the roof during your next rental, the company may go after you!) I kind of miss the people who used to work here. They really respect their neighbor in Tualatin and I always enjoy the chat when they're giving me a ride home. Maybe they are still working here but just not on the right shift. read more

Avoid this Enterprise location, unless you want to get tricked into adding "additional" accident insurance!!! Went here because I got rear-ended and third party insurance was paying for it. One of the sales rep tells me to sign and initial on the IPad for the formalities of getting the rental. He then tells me oh we just need your credit card to hold for "incidental insurance" but we'll refund it back to your card once you return the car. A few days later, I see a $55 charge and called them back. The guy tells me oh, that's the additional insurance you authorized and it's non-refundable. I was like no, why would I pay for additional coverage when the rental was already paid for!?! I told the rep to have the manager call me back, but surprise....he never did. There's so many rental places to choose from. Just don't go here! I called and disputed the charges with my credit card. They are crediting my account. read more

The guy at the Tualatin location was much more flexible and helpful than both the one at the PDX airport (who was rushed, yet had time to be pushy when trying to scare us into signing up for insurance) and the 800 number reps (who tried to help, but had limited info.) I wanted to make a change in my reservation to return the car to the Tualatin location instead of the airport, and he was flexible and accommodated me. Wish I had gotten his name to send my thanks personally, but my guess is that others will benefit from his service and let him know as well. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We had scheduled a truck reservation at the Tualatin location for Friday, November 27th. We called on Wednesday, November 25th to confirm the reservation and to ensure everything would be ready for Friday as we had movers scheduled to load the truck Friday morning and movers to unload at our new home in Lincoln City on Saturday morning. We called the location again on Friday morning at 8am, as we were driving there from Lincoln City, to confirm and see if it was possible to pick up the truck about 30 minutes early. We spoke to Jason on Friday morning who said he was just getting vehicles checked in from the Holiday and would give us a call back in 5 minutes. We never got a call back and arrived at the rental location about 45 minutes later. The truck office was locked so a person from the car rental side let us know he would inform the truck employee we were there. We waited outside for another 5 minutes, while we waited outside we missed a phone call from the truck location. When Jason finally came out he asked if we got his voicemail, we said we didn't listen to it yet because we were standing outside waiting for somebody to help us. Jason let us know that the truck we had reserved had roof damage. When we asked if we could rent the truck anyway, since we were desperate and scheduled to meet movers in 45 minutes, he told us it was dropped off in Olympia, WA. The only other truck they had available was much smaller (17' versus 26'), with no lift gate, and was in Longview, WA. We asked when the truck would be at the location in Tualatin and he said it won't be and we'd have to go up to Longview to pick it up. Obviously, this was a major issue as we had movers scheduled in less than an hour to help us move. Jason offered no solutions and really didn't even apologize and then tried to pass blame on us that we showed up without listening to the voicemail that he left us while we were standing at the doorway. I'm not sure what he thought was going to happen, maybe he was hoping we wouldn't show up for a reservation we had confirmed twice. After walking away trying to figure out a new solution since we were offered zero help, we called into the truck office to ask for an area managers phone number. Jason answered the phone and hung up when we asked for the area manager's number. He then came outside and said he couldn't give us that information and what were we going to do "call to throw him under the bus?". He then told us his area manager was on vacation but he would have somebody contact us. After waiting several days for a phone call back I reached out the branch again where there wasn't ever anybody answering the phone. I then reached out to the website "contact us" which I didn't get a response on. At that point I was going to come to Google to write a review. I saw the last two people to review this location also reviewed 1 star but Enterprise had responded asking them to write to care@ehi.com so I thought I'd give them one last attempt. After several e-mails back and forth with care@ehi.com spanning over a week saying the Area Manager would call me back I decided to call the branch again, again no answer and again I left a message. I then decided to write to Enterprise's website again. Finally on Dec. 10th I received a missed call from a blocked number with a voicemail from Sam Swenson stating he was the Area Manager from the Tualatin Truck Office and he had several e-mails and messages asking him to call me. He left his call back number which I called as soon as I could. It went to a VM for a women working in Talent Acquisition for Enterprise. I tried that number several times over the next few days with no answer. I then tried calling the Truck branch again directly. Much to my surprise somebody answered! Cody answered my phone call and refused to give me the Area Manager's phone number. Finally Cody agreed to contact Sam and have him call us right away, that was a week and half ago and I still haven't had any response to my multiple attempts to contact them. read more

He went the extra mile and worked out some timing issue, so I was able to drive a 2020 Jaguar SUV for 5 days. He took care of everything - no upsell - no pressure. After making a reservation online, we rented a cargo van for a weekend of moving. When we picked it up, the van was brand new and perfect for what we needed (high roof, tie downs, etc.). The price is phenomenal (no mileage fees!!!) and the customer service is second to none. Brittany even called on the next business day to check-in, make sure we had everything we needed and to give me the final total. It was less than I expected. I assure you that I will use Enterprise truck rental in Tualatin again. I highly recommend that you do as well. read more

Went to Tualatin Auto Body to have the car fixed. Geico set us up with Enterprise Rent-A Car and it was totally painless. They had the car there within minutes of my arrival. Car was clean, newer model Dodge station wagon of some sorts. When picking up our car when it was ready, we just dropped it off there at the auto body shop and they took care of the returning the rental. A day later Enterprise called and asked about how the car was and if there were any areas they needed to improve in. I didn't have any complaints this time with the car or their service and will definitely rent from them again if needed. read more

Don't bother reserving a car online because it doesn't mean anything! We reserved a car a few days ago to drive my little sister to Seattle for an interview. When we went this morning to pick up the car, ITS NOT THERE. I reserved a Toyota Corolla or similar and they only had 2 HUGE Dodge Rams available. A Dodge Ram is not a Corolla. I have 4 other passengers and a Ram is not going to be comfortable for 8+ hours in the car nor do I want to park a Ram in Downtown. Thanks for wasting my time! read more

Picked me up at the Auto body shop right on time, getting a car took less than 10 mins. I dropped the car off at the auto body place, left the keys, & drove away in my car. Very seamless process. They gave me a courtesy call the next day to let me know the car was picked up & I didn't owe anything. I would highly recommend this Enterprise to anyone! read more

I rented a 12 passenger van from them for a day of wine tasting. I was initially upset they wouldnt pick me up because I was outside city lines- but they made up for it and sweetened the pot for me when they learned I was upset. They do a really good job here. read more

Since they asked for feedback here goes. I reserved a car in advance online, I had a special situation, my partner flew ahead to a funeral in Phoenix and I was driving to pick her up, so I needed her to be a 2nd driver for the return trip so we signed the contract early. Monday I arrived 15 min early to pick up the car for 5:30pm. When I was told the price it didn't seem right but the employee stated it was based on a two week rental. I previously have rented from the Tigard location, here I spent 45 min proving I'll be back including providing a recently signed lease agreement. After 45 minutes and a $690 deposit, we do a walk around, all fine. She checks fuel level, Ok, then I point out how dirty the car is, she says sorry that it's not up to my standards and offered for me to wait so they can clean it. I didn't have time for that after just waiting 45 minutes, plenty of time for them to get the car clean. Now I Can handle a little dust but this was layers and when my, allergic to everything daughter, got in the back and while driving home stated the seat was full of black dog hair, I immediately began calling, but no answer so I tried Portland Airport, they didn't have anything. I was leaving at 4am the next morning so she suggested Eugene, they didn't have anything. The next option was Klamath Falls, so I left a message and called them at 7:30 the next morning, while on the road, letting them know the situation. I arrived to Klamath Falls where, they didn't have a car, but detailed the car I had. They stated no car would ever leave their location in the condition this car was. By the time I got to Klamath Falls, my daughter needed to be overloaded with Benedryl. I call the Tualatin location, let them know what I've been through, the gentleman states they can credit me the cost of a 2nd driver. At the time it didn't sink in. I've never been charged a 2nd driver, so I call again the next day. I inform them that my 2nd driver is my domestic partner and that it should not be charged anyway. Then I lost connection in the mountains of Nevada. Upon my return I cleaned the car inside and out, I was raised to return a borrowed item better than received, and even though they gave me a dirty filthy car, I returned the car clean. I also informed them that it's obvious the oil had not been changed because it began dragging and smelling hot from California up to Tualatin. They knew I was traveling to Phoenix, they should of changed the oil. So to wrap up: 1. Don't tell me your busy and understaffed, do whatever you need to do to give a client a clean car. 2. Don't assume because my Co driver is also a female that we aren't a couple. 3. If you know in advance I'm traveling 3000 miles, change the oil. The plus. They dropped the weekly rental price down to $205 from $260, but I honestly thought it wasn't enough. read more

When i got there they told me all they had was a mini van?? why did i schedule an appointment 3 days earlier and say what car i wanted if it was just first come first serve anyways. I work in NE Portland and have to parallel park and when i told the worker i can't parallel park it he was less then helpful. I also only had the car for 1 day but they are charging me for 2 full days because it had been midnight or some bullshit. Recently rented a compact car from Enterprise for the weekend at the special rate of $9.99/day. They asked if I wanted to upgrade to a larger car at $19.99/day, but I was just fine with the compact car. They then volunteered that they did not have any compacts, so they upgraded me to the larger car for free. It was a brand new Hyndai Elantra. So I had no complaints. Drove the car for the weekend, returned it, and was charged the $30 as expected. So all in all, no complaints from me. This was a great deal on a car that I needed because my old car died and I had to spend the weekend shopping for its replacement. read more

Dealing with these people was a nightmare from day 1. The lady Dorthea was rude, condescending and treated us like we were trying to pull a fast one. She put a hold on our credit card everyday until she maxed the credit limit, causing significant damage to our credit score. Never mind the reason we needed a rental was because we got rear-ended in our brand new 2019 Subaru and the rental was being paid for in full by the other driver's insurance. That wasn't good enough for Dorthea, who originally put us in a grubby looking Versa that smelled like cigarettes and pool water, then argued with us when we asked for an upgrade. Turned off of Enterprise for life, and considering we rent cars regularly for business trips, that's Enterprise's loss. You can thank Dorthea. read more

I just rented a car from here yesterday, for the week. So far, the transaction was swift and painless. Was on my way within 10 minutes. Only downfall? They really need more colors. White and silver were all they offered. I suppose the reason for that may have been a small selection of cars. Only had 2 cars for my original rental, so I opted for a size up. Bad experience. They actually ran out of cars! Which left myself and several other people waiting for over an hour. One customer complained loudly about there repeated lack of cars. I had to take the first car available and couldn't wait for them to clean it or put fuel in. They offered me another car the next day and said it would be ready at 9 am. I couldn't make it in time with traffic and they called shortly after saying they don't have any cars. Wow no cars repeatedly aren't they suppose to be in the business of renting cars. In Vegas we go to nearest one they have nothing they say go to airport, so we do they r down 35 cars and say there is no recall? I've had another stellar experience with Enterprise. I was picked up in the car I would be renting - they gave me a Toyota because they knew I drive one. On arrival at their location, I switched to the driver's seat, signed the documents on the iPad that had been loaded with my preferences from my last rental, and drove away without even having to leave the car! When I returned the rental, they kindly gave me a ride to my mechanic's shop where I picked up my own car. I am really happy with Enterprise, and I find their prices to be very reasonable. I had an urgent need for a realistic, safe rental yesterday, unexpectedly and during a very stressful event. Jacob Noah went through every possibility to get me into a car on the spot. He provided true customer service with real care that answered the urgency not just what I could afford. He was thorough, gracious, kind and knew what to do to make it work. All the time he was positive and upbeat and heard what I said. He listened which can be a rare thing in service businesses. Jacob's efforts were outstanding at this location; I highly recommend this enterprise office because of his presence. Fortunately there was a regional manager there at the time so that I could tell her he is a serious asset. Bad customer service... very bad! -Called at 10:50am and asked if they had any 12 or 15 passenger vans available. Brennan, said he had a 15 passenger and gave me a quote. I said I would call back to reserve once I confirmed it's what my boss wanted to do. -Called back to reserve at 11:17am. Brennan said he wanted to transfer me to the reservation line cuz he was busy. Waited on the reservation line for 6min. Then the lady on the reservation line said there were no 15 passenger vans available, I said Brennan said there were, she said I'll transfer you back to him because it's telling me I can't reserve any. Waited on hold for 10min. -Brennan answered and I told him what the lady on the reservation line said. He said he would reserve the van for me but was really busy at the front desk and asked if he could call back within the hour, I said OK. - He didn't call back. I called back at 2:30pm.. he said he could reserve the van, "just let me place you on hold for a minute while I finish up with this customer." I said sure. - 10min of holding later a guy named Matt picks up the phone, asked me what I was looking to reserve, I said 15 passenger van based off what Brennan told me.. Matt says he can't do that cuz they are on a company wide hold of 15 passenger vans. - I said I should have been told that from the beginning rather than waisting 6 hours being given the run around (I was exaggerating slightly due to my frustration and not actually calculating the time correctly, in reality they had made me wait 3 and half hours).. Matt very condescendingly mocked me about being on hold for 6 hours... to which I explained what Brennan had told me and what had transpired.. He then proceeded to try and tell me I was mistaken on the circumstances of my engagement. To which I reiterated the exact story here (all of which is accurate and true), and then hung up out of frustration. Get it together ppl!!! If you don't have the van in stock, tell me right away... don't give me the run around for 3 hours and then be condescending when a customer tries to tell you what they've been through (even if the customer slightly exaggerated the amount of time they had been waiting). Very bad protocols, and extremely poor customer interaction, plus waisted my time when I could have been looking elsewhere. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more
