Exceptional Service at Enterprise in Steger, IL! After dealing with a stressful car rental situation involving family visiting from Uruguay, I cannot express how refreshing our experience was at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Steger, Illinois! From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you goes to Jaden Savage, Assistant Branch Rental Manager, who truly went above and beyond to make the entire process as easy and stress-free as possible. Jaden was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure our family was taken care of. What had previously been a frustrating experience with another rental company quickly became a pleasant one thanks to his exceptional customer service. It's rare to encounter someone who can completely change your outlook on an experience, but Jaden did exactly that. He took the stress out of renting a vehicle and allowed us to focus on what really mattered: enjoying our family's visit from Uruguay. Enterprise in Steger has earned our appreciation and future business. I highly recommend this location, and especially Jaden, to anyone looking for a rental experience where customer service still means something. Thank you again, Jaden! Your professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed! read more

I would give the second chance a 3.5. They had a car available this time. Pick up time was really busy, but I waited less times at other locations with more people in line which is why I changed it from a 4 to a 3.5. read more

I had an exceptional experience with Enterprise, thanks to Manager Shawna and her amazing team at the Steger IL location. My family and I were running a few minutes behind and arrived just three minutes after closing time. Instead of turning us away, Shawna and her team graciously waited for us and welcomed us with kindness and understanding. In today's world, it's rare to find customer service that goes above and beyond in this way. Shawna demonstrated genuine care, professionalism, and compassion, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a positive experience for my family. I am incredibly grateful for her patience and outstanding customer service. Employees like Shawna are the reason customers keep coming back. Thank you for making us feel valued and cared for. Enterprise is fortunate to have such a dedicated manager and team! Thank you from the Malone Family read more

I was reticent about renting from this facility due to the poor reviews, but it is conveniently located. I reserved a care first thing in the morning and scheduled the pickup at 11am. When I got there, they had no car. I should have just sucked it up and been willing to travel someplace with a better reputation. read more

My car is in the shop so I decided to rent a car just for a day so I could get back and forth to work. I mind you I have been up since 4am and picked up the vehicle around 430 pm. Upon arriving, the staff were very pleasant. However, I get to my destination and notice that the plates are expired. I get told by the 855 number I called that I should call roadside assistance and they will bring new tags. I decide to call roadside and they inform me that I must get towed to an open location and have the car swapped out. It's 8pm. The ETA is an hour. By the time I get back it will be almost 1030. I will NEVER do this again. First and a last for everything. Now I have to waste more time out of my day because of their mess up. Thanks for ruining my day enterprise. ****update 0835pm. I was told that the car would be towed to the midway airport location. She asked if I had another vehicle or a ride back and I said no, so then I was told that I would have to wait 3-5 hours for them to bring me another vehicle. Once again, I have been up since 4am. I am not sitting up until 1am to sign any kind of paperwork as I cannot physically be up that late and have to get up again at 4am. The woman on the phone told me that I already said I wasn't waiting up so there was nothing they could do to make it right, so I have to take it up with the counter. Great job enterprise!!! You all put me at risk to get pulled over for your incompetence and I'm sure I'll still have to pay for a vehicle I had for 4 hours. read more

Lets see where do I start!! My car decided that in the middle of me trying to have perfect attendance at work and completing my degree that it wanted to break down! I have always rented from Enterprise so I figured I would try this one in Steger!!! WOW is all I can say.. I needed a ride to the car they picked me up super fast, Gi's customer service was amazing. He was friendly, professional and most important he drove me safely to the location to complete the transaction. From there I met Lauren, Reggie and Sunny OMG that team is phenomenal!!! Lauren made me feel like the customer of the year with her kindness. Reggie was completely thorough and Sunny was professional as well. They smile, speak, make sure you are completely satisfied, made sure the car was safe and gassed up and had me in and out in minutes. I 110% recommend this location to everyone. I have had no problems and sadly my car is still down so I have had the car for over a month with no issues with it or the billing. They tell you everything upfront and Reggie even offered to have someone call about a purchase of an Enterprise car. I look forward to doing business with this location because they remember you, your stories and make you feel like a part of the Enterprise family. I am sooooooo GRATEFUL for this team. Go there you wont be disappointed!! read more

I have to say the branch manager at this location is very racist against white people. I know this because as a customer, I stopped in to ask questions and wanted to speak with the manager and he refused to come out of his office even when he heard me clearly state that I wanted to speak to a manager and he completely ignored me. It wasn't until the employee that was assisting me ran into a issue with computer, that he came out of his office with a annoyed look on his face to help his employee. I asked him a few questions and yet he still ignored me a. Hour later I sent my black friend in there and to my surprise, he displayed top notch customer service. I recommend any other rental company but this one no matter what color you are. Racism should never be tolerated. I did record my experience and my friend recorded his. I will have it up on YouTube as soon as I can. read more

I had a good experience with this location. Car was available when promised, and customer service was great.

We were very satisfied with service. From the time we made our reservation until we picked up the car they were very accommodating. The gentleman picked us up on time and was very pleasant. Chattlin D., who waited on us was pleasant, helpful and answered all our questions. Even the other gentleman in the office acknowledged us. You could tell they enjoyed their job. I would recommend their service to anyone. Thanks so much!! read more
