Before making any payment, I clearly confirmed multiple times whether the specific vehicle I wanted was available. The manager repeatedly assured me that the vehicle was available. Based on her confirmation, I proceeded with the payment process. However, immediately after the payment was completed, I was suddenly told that the vehicle was no longer available and had already been reserved by someone else. This was extremely confusing and unacceptable, considering the manager had just confirmed its availability moments earlier. What made the situation even worse was the manager's attitude. Instead of offering a clear explanation or attempting to resolve the issue professionally, she responded in an extremely arrogant and dismissive manner, essentially conveying a "take it or leave it" attitude. This level of disrespect and lack of accountability is highly inappropriate, especially from someone in a managerial position. Furthermore, the way I was treated during this interaction made me feel deeply uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about potential discriminatory treatment toward customers of color. Businesses operating in the United States have a responsibility to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. I respectfully request that your company conduct a formal review of this incident and take appropriate action. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate this matter through appropriate consumer protection and civil rights channels to ensure the issue is properly addressed. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding how this situation will be handled.

    I rented a chevy malibu from this location. They checked me in and took me out to look at the…read morevehicle to note any blemishes. They told me there was a $400 cleaning fee if it came back with sand, dog hair or needed cleaning and proceeded to show me a dirty car. This car was dirty on the outside and inside. Windows had fingerprints, inside was dirty with crumbs and fingerprints, outside had dirt spots, dirty windshield, bugs on front. I asked why I was being given a dirty car and they said they didn't have time to wash it and were short staffed. Due to time restraints and I needed a vehicle I took this car. Luckily was staying with my in-laws and were able to wash it in their driveway before using. Honestly this was completely unprofessional in the way they handled this and I have never been treated like this at any rental place. Then I somehow misplaced my keys and believed them to be in the car but I had returned the rental earlier that day. I called the location only to be put on hold and told they didn't have time to look for my keys. I explained I was headed to the airport and home to Texas and needed my car and house keys and asked if they could kindly look. They hung up on me, put me on hold and then put the phone on the counter to keep it off the hook. I held for 15 mins and they hung up. I called again and said I would be calling until they helped me. They replied we dent have your keys. I know they didn't even go look. It was the most frustrating experience to be treated like this. I literally called them 13 times according to my call log that day. Due to this terrible experience I would take a long pause before ever renting from a Budget again. These people are not representing your brand well at all

I have flown on and out of Ontario International Airport in California all of my life and have seen the experience go from why do I have to use this airport to wow and they continue to get better. For me, car rental is just what it is. Except this time something dramatically changed. Apparently , a staff meeting with a small agenda lead to a discussion to change the process of getting a rental so that it would lead to frustration leading to anger or murder.! Let me explain, once leaving the checkout counter you exit the building, find your car, do the inspection and get confirmed as you exit the lot by the attendant at the gate. Somehow, someway, Enterprise rental has decided to add a new process where you give a card to the lot attendant while you stand in the blistering sun. The lot attendant then assembles a group of renters and you're taken on a grand tour of all the cars you can drive. The group of renters I was with all had the look on their faces of : do we just stampede and rush to a car, or is this tour necessary? Also, there is the awkward moment of what if two renters want the same car? This is easy for me since I can out run most people, but seems a bit excessive just to rent a car and we really are not in this all together. We were leaning towards the first. I cannot express enough how much that process adds to frustration of the renter and the possibility of throwing of eggs. The previous process was perfect and allowed travelers to get to a car and continue on with their business. Returning the car was easy breezy and perfect. Lesson: Enterprise, make you checking out a car as easy as it is to check in the car and I will return. Standing in a second line after standing in the line at the checkout desk is torture and truly takes away from the experience .!I'm now thinking about traveling with eggs so that I can leave immediate feedback - it's that annoying. Enterprise, please go back to being best in class,

    We rented a car from them on 10/22/25. We drove the car about 60 miles to Palm Springs and noticed…read morea funny sound while driving. A day later, the right rear tire was flat (nail) and we were told to take the car to America's Tire to get it fixed. When they measured the remaining tread, they found it down to 2mm and wouldn't touch it, saying that both rear tires would need to be replaced. After a half hour of trying to get through to someone, they finally authorized replacing those tires with the cheapest ones available. It is a credit to the tire place that they got them on in under 20 minutes and we were on our way. But the fact that the car was never inspected for tread prior to renting it?!? We will never rent from them again. They did give us a 30% discount upon returning the car, but IMO that doesn't make up for the potential danger they put us in. Tires should be replaced once they are down to 4mm.
