The Hispanic employee at this location told me that because I was younger than 25 years old I needed the hertz "package" which included insurance on the vehicle from hertz as well as roadside assistance. Meanwhile, he knew I had my own car insurance and I also have AAA so I didn't need either of those "requirements". I was lied to and mislead. To top it all off, this same employee told me one month later that this was not the case and his supervisor stated that none of his employees would ever say that because it's absurd. Meanwhile, that very same lying employee told my father (via the phone) that the reason I chose Hertz was because I needed the car insurance. This man is clearly uninformed of his competitors because every rent a car offers insurance for purchase when renting the vehicle. Well guess what, it's a shop full of liars and uneducated individuals. Don't rent a car from here, especially if you are a female. You will get taken advantage of.

HIS regional manager, 'Lee' was somewhat helpful but 'Cody', after returning an earlier rental and booking another through my Costco travel account at the SAME Oldsmar location, simply chose nor to not honor the Costco reservation! All this at 5pm on a Friday making me very late and having to go to another enterprise nearby.., thanks to "Lee"... let's see if Carly handles customer service better than her Logan enterprise competitor. I've been in customer service and training for decades.... There's strict adherence to policy, then there's understanding in customer service. Note: I did extend the original rental by three days, the deposit more than covered AND i called Cody and authorized payment on the two days extended... then he told me to settle up when bringing the car back on Friday at 5 pm. Also note: THERE WERE AT LEAST A DOZEN CARS in the lot ready to be rented. So it was NOT a case of Low or no inventory.

Take notes and don't make the mistake I made. Sorry it's so long but it was the only way. The service for one, though friendly and professional, I've never had to wait this long to pick up a vehicle. Getting in and out was too much of a hassle. In all the years using Enterprise I've had no mishaps renting or returning. This time around, they find a fog light on the passenger side has a crack on it. Im struggling to believe that this damage wasn't already there beforehand. The fog lights are almost hidden in the Altima to the point where it could've been missed during the walkthrough, which was done rather quick to begin with. The rep claimed that since there was no damage to the bumper it's possible that a rock could've cracked it while on the road, similar to the way a windshield gets cracked on occasion. He stated that this was very common in these type of cars. (I call BS) Nothing he said felt genuine. Because of how discreet these lights are positioned, I truly believe that they were missed in the initial inspection. They claimed that it wasn't damaged prior to the rental but had no way to prove it. I have a long record with Enterprise with zero mishaps even in times driving in States under poor weather conditions. I don't buy that this damage was caused during my business trip to South Florida. At this point is my word against Enterprise. The vehicle was given to me on half a tank, A final inspection that was so over the top it felt like they were searching for a reason. Another customer returned her vehicle right after mine and was told they found damage as well as she stood inside the office looking puzzled. I have yet to hear back from the repair shop for a final cost of the damage, this is something minor and shouldn't take this long to evaluate. It has caused a delay in my expenses which translates into additional fees on my credit card if not turned in on time. I called the Damage Recovery Unit for Enterprise 8 business days to get a status, the rep tells me it can take 4 weeks to get the final estimate. Just for my own comfort and to maybe regain some trust in them, I respectfully asked if I could receive prove of the fixed fog light after it got fixed. In a defensive and standoffish tone, she tells me it's not my car and they don't have to prove anything to me. Quote unquote. In other words.. pay us and be quiet. Quick review... This Enterprise CANT provide me prove that the fog light was indeed damaged from the beginning... This Enterprise CANT provide me prove that it got fixed. I just have to pay them and trust they will do the right thing. Make of that what you will. FYI.. Most of what's on this review I wrote in a response to a text message that I received from the branch Manager Byron at this location. There was never a reply sent to me in return. Too many red flags for me. I will still take my business to Enterprise as they are easily the best rental company in my opinion, this location is the one exception. Needless to say I wont be using this location again. and I will make sure to make my colleagues aware. Thanks for reading.

Called customer service representative and was told what car we would be receiving. Arrived on site…read moreand when we walked in another customer was at the counter complaining that they didn't have her car that she reserved and was upcharged to another vehicle. When we approached the counter we were told that our reserved vehicle was not available and was told we needed to go to a larger vehicle at an upcharge as well. I called customer services and they could care less. The employee that was helping, we asked to speak with a manager he said he was. I asked to speak to his boss and was told he is out of the country for a month??? Asked for his bosses boss and was told he didn't know who that was or was not able to get ahold of. I asked if there was an accident or catastrophic accident who would he call. He said no one he would just go home. Very poor service will never rent from them again. I have rented from them all over the world and this country.

Enterprise picked me up from the collision center my car was being worked on at (Ferman) and…read morebrought me to their office on U.S. 19 near Kolsterman Road. I was offered a 2021 Nissan Altima base model. The car came with sanitary wipes and smelled a little funky like someone had smoked cigarettes in it at some point. All documents I signed to rent the car we're on a tablet and I didn't have to present valid insurance to take the car off the lot. I asked an employee for the vehicle's registration and was told a copy of my rental agreement would suffice. My agreement was sent to my email which listed the duration of my rental as three days. The employee I spoke to said this was standard practice and the collision center working on my car would update them and they would extend the amount of days despite me saying it would take them at least seven. This practice puts a lot of faith in the auto body shop to update Enterprise so, the customer doesn't face liability. Around the seventh day, Enterprise called me and stated they would appreciate it if I could stop by their office so they could put a 2022 license plate renewal tab on the license plate attached to the Altima. The plate had been renewed and was valid but had a 2021 sticker with the month I rented the car. When I stopped by Enterprise I told the employee I didn't appreciate this inconvenience and if the license plate had expired the driver could be ticketed for driving the vehicle. The employee said only Enterprise would be held liable but that's not true. Once the employee realized the plate was out of Maryland and she couldn't locate the renewal tab she moved me into a different Altima. This 2021 Altima was a more luxurious model with leather seats and had additional upgrades. I didn't have to fuel my old rental back up, signed the tablet again and left the lot. A few days later my vehicle was done being repaired despite Enterprise saying the information they received was it would be totaled. Enterprise allowed me to leave the Altima at Ferman Collision Center where my vehicle was being worked on. Enterprise came and picked up their car up and I had no further contact with them. I would recommend this Enterprise location to others but, I caution others to be weary of potential problems when entering into an agreement with them as with any private business.
