The so called manager of this Enterprise Latin in Oldsmar, FL..., a young ma'am by the name of Cody has served to become, by far, the worst Enterprise customer service, as an Enterprise PLUS customer of twenty years, that I've EVER ENCOUNTERED. HIS regional manager, 'Lee' was somewhat helpful but 'Cody', after returning an earlier rental and booking another through my Costco travel account at the SAME Oldsmar location, simply chose nor to not honor the Costco reservation! All this at 5pm on a Friday making me very late and having to go to another enterprise nearby.., thanks to "Lee"... let's see if Carly handles customer service better than her Logan enterprise competitor. I've been in customer service and training for decades.... There's strict adherence to policy, then there's understanding in customer service. Note: I did extend the original rental by three days, the deposit more than covered AND i called Cody and authorized payment on the two days extended... then he told me to settle up when bringing the car back on Friday at 5 pm. I was not satisfied with my experience at this Oldsmar Enterprise location. If I could use one word to sum up this review, that word would be SUSPECT. Take notes and don't make the mistake I made. Sorry it's so long but it was the only way. The service for one, though friendly and professional, I've never had to wait this long to pick up a vehicle. Getting in and out was too much of a hassle. In all the years using Enterprise I've had no mishaps renting or returning. This time around, they find a fog light on the passenger side has a crack on it. Im struggling to believe that this damage wasn't already there beforehand. The fog lights are almost hidden in the Altima to the point where it could've been missed during the walkthrough, which was done rather quick to begin with. The rep claimed that since there was no damage to the bumper it's possible that a rock could've cracked it while on the road, similar to the way a windshield gets cracked on occasion. He stated that this was very common in these type of cars. (I call BS) Nothing he said felt genuine. Because of how discreet these lights are positioned, I truly believe that they were missed in the initial inspection. They claimed that it wasn't damaged prior to the rental but had no way to prove it. I have a long record with Enterprise with zero mishaps even in times driving in States under poor weather conditions. I don't buy that this damage was caused during my business trip to South Florida. At this point is my word against Enterprise. The vehicle was given to me on half a tank, A final inspection that was so over the top it felt like they were searching for a reason. Another customer returned her vehicle right after mine and was told they found damage as well as she stood inside the office looking puzzled. I have yet to hear back from the repair shop for a final cost of the damage, this is something minor and shouldn't take this long to evaluate. It has caused a delay in my expenses which translates into additional fees on my credit card if not turned in on time. I called the Damage Recovery Unit for Enterprise 8 business days to get a status, the rep tells me it can take 4 weeks to get the final estimate. Just for my own comfort and to maybe regain some trust in them, I respectfully asked if I could receive prove of the fixed fog light after it got fixed. In a defensive and standoffish tone, she tells me it's not my car and they don't have to prove anything to me. Quote unquote. In other words.. pay us and be quiet. Quick review... This Enterprise CANT provide me prove that the fog light was indeed damaged from the beginning... This Enterprise CANT provide me prove that it got fixed. I just have to pay them and trust they will do the right thing. Make of that what you will. FYI.. Most of what's on this review I wrote in a response to a text message that I received from the branch Manager Byron at this location. There was never a reply sent to me in return. Too many red flags for me. I will still take my business to Enterprise as they are easily the best rental company in my opinion, this location is the one exception. Beyond mad. not only was I on a time crunch. I thought in and out never had a problem till now. I have a time of 12 pick up for a car. I get dropped off by lyft. Go in side and then ask me if I would take a truck? I own a jeep I need better fuel for this trip. He says we have no cars here. I said you couldn't of called me? 2 secs to call me. I could of been dropped off at other locations. But no phone cause hes super busy to get to me. Now he offers to uber me home. But at this point I already ordered another lyft. Waste of time and money.and dident get what i had reservations for. Hope this helps so know one else gets robbed from these people. Thanks for messing up my weekend. read more

Previous Post: I had a business trip in May for which I needed to rent a car for 1 day, and went to the closest enterprise location in Oldsmar, FL. I picked up the car right before the office closed on the night before, as I have done for years, to be able to depart to my trip early the next day. No problem. I returned the car the next day BEFORE the office was even opened and to my surprise the person at the front desk charged me for two days. After I explain the situation to this person and that I have done this many times before, he still charged me for the two day arguing that it was 2 calendar days. I guess he didn't care what I had to say. I drove the car less than 100 mile! Well, I hope he doesn't care about losing my business rentals either. Update: After posting my review and aswering a survey over the phone, a customer service representative contacted me to discuss the bad experience I had. I explained what happened again, and this person offered to make things right. Well, not really... He offered to refund the extra day I was charged, but it never happened. They failed again!! Cars at this location are in really bad shape. Lots of dings, scrapes and dents. Our rental was dirty inside and out. Under a 1/4 tank of gas was in our car. All the cars were dirty . You could see the smear marks all over the windows where someone used a filthy rag to clean them. Car wasn't vacuumed and reeked of smoke. We are use to picking up a clean car and returning it in same condition. It was embarrassing to drive. Will not be using this location again. You should also take many pictures as to damage already on car, it was so dirty that you couldn't see some of the dents and scratches. Take many many pictures of Everything inside and out. We thankfully did not have any issues returning, but there was so much damage on car when picking up we had to video it . read more

I needed a rental car when my family was visiting as my small car would not hold everyone. I used this location of Enterprise as I had a bad experience at the Palm Harbor, FL location. I was able to get a car at the time I wanted and the service was far and away above that of the Palm Harbor location. Spurgeon was the agent who helped me and he was polite and professional. Ricky gave me a ride home when I returned the car and is a nice young man and also polite and professional. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I wanted a small SUV and I got a Chevy Tahoe which was nice to drive and comfortable but a gas guzzler. But, that was my only choose the day I picked up the car. Also, the agents have to answer the phone while they are waiting on you and that in my opinion is not good customer service. They need a secretary or answering service to take care of incoming calls while they help their face to face customers. All in all it was a positive experience and I would return to this location of Enterprise when I need to rent a car in the future. read more

I reserved a rental through priceline for what I thought was a good deal $11 per day for a compact sedan, showed up to this location and a young male in his 20s with blonde-ish hair was working the front desk, or only desk in a 5x10 sq office if that. He said the only compact they had available was a chevy spark which it seems to me the little pokeball (tiny vehicle) could be no more than an economy vehicle, which is a 4 door smart car in all reality. Anyways, once the representative showed me the vehicle I disagreed as to why would I even consider taking that vehicle since there was no way that could be considered a compact, however, he stated it was and that it was his only vehicle, a lady who was returning her vehicle stated she had a toyota corolla and that she was done with it and could take it, the rep went ahead and said that vehicle was not available. I proceeded to say thank you and that I was not going to take that vehicle because it was not what I had reserved, so I left, and he seemed unimpressed and unwilling to accommodate a customer. Obviously the representative ought to be retrained in pretty much everything, demeanor, bearing, sales, customer service and life in general. read more

I have a location right down the street from work, in Oldsmar, so after work decided to head out for July 4th weekend. All I needed was a dependable car. It was too much to ask. The staff seemed hurried, and absolutely hateful. I asked about a sign taped to the desk asking folks to inquire about holiday specials. The man said it was a mistake and ripped the sign off and threw it away. I laughed thinking he must have been in a hurry, like I was. Back to business: I couldn't get a small, cute, economy car as I had hoped, but they offered me a huge, red gas-guzzler I was prepared to try instead. Skeletor punched in the credit card info and said the credit card was declined. Bullshit I say. Run it again Rick Scott. Again, declined. My entire trip and plans were ruined because I couldn't get a car when I needed it. Credit card company says it would have continued to deny with The Grim Reaper punching in the incorrect expiration date. Never going back there again. read more

There were a few "bumps in the road" with my rental but my experience with renting here still turned out great. We rented a 2015 Ford Fusion from this location for a week long trip from FL to NJ. As we were driving down the road in NJ, the horn just started blaring. We pulled over to the side and fiddled with it a little until it stopped. On our way back to FL, it did it a few more times on the highway. By the time we got to GA, the car was not driveable with this short in the horn. I calling Enterprise but there was nothing they could do since the only one near where we were was closed for the night. We had planned on driving straight through and getting home that night but instead we had to get a room at the Days Inn for the night. In the morning, we were able to get a tow to the nearest Enterprise, trade out the car and get back on the road. When I called the Oldsmar office and spoke to Amir, he apologized for the inconvenience, assured me we would not be charged for the extra time with the car and credited back the money for the room and a little extra for the inconvenience. Unfortunately things can happen against our will and throw a wrench into things but Enterprise went above and beyond to make things right! I would highly recommend renting from them and next time I need a rental, I will definitely call them. read more
