Horrible experience and my experience isn't even over yet. starting with pick up they tried to reject my debit card because of the type it was yet EVERYTHING else and everywhere else accepts my debit card including when I made the reservation.Nothing anywhere has restrictions on certain cards in this building so he finally did it. I got the truck From Tampa Fl to New Jersey is my trip. 5 hours in the sliding door busts open from wind because the latch was not attached properly. so after running to the back to stop my belongings from falling out I had to slam the door shut while trying to find a safe place to secure the door properly. I have 3 hours Left of my trip and the transmission keeps slipping and the van keeps having shorting problems with the electric. I paid OVER $1500 for a DEATH TRAP. worst budget experience ever luckily I have a dog so I figured out a way to keep it shut

The Hispanic employee at this location told me that because I was younger than 25 years old I needed the hertz "package" which included insurance on the vehicle from hertz as well as roadside assistance. Meanwhile, he knew I had my own car insurance and I also have AAA so I didn't need either of those "requirements". I was lied to and mislead. To top it all off, this same employee told me one month later that this was not the case and his supervisor stated that none of his employees would ever say that because it's absurd. Meanwhile, that very same lying employee told my father (via the phone) that the reason I chose Hertz was because I needed the car insurance. This man is clearly uninformed of his competitors because every rent a car offers insurance for purchase when renting the vehicle. Well guess what, it's a shop full of liars and uneducated individuals. Don't rent a car from here, especially if you are a female. You will get taken advantage of.

When we approached the counter we were told that our reserved vehicle was not available and was told we needed to go to a larger vehicle at an upcharge as well. I called customer services and they could care less. The employee that was helping, we asked to speak with a manager he said he was. I asked to speak to his boss and was told he is out of the country for a month??? Asked for his bosses boss and was told he didn't know who that was or was not able to get ahold of. I asked if there was an accident or catastrophic accident who would he call. He said no one he would just go home. Very poor service will never rent from them again. I have rented from them all over the world and this country.

I was offered a 2021 Nissan Altima base model. The car came with sanitary wipes and smelled a little funky like someone had smoked cigarettes in it at some point. All documents I signed to rent the car we're on a tablet and I didn't have to present valid insurance to take the car off the lot. I asked an employee for the vehicle's registration and was told a copy of my rental agreement would suffice. My agreement was sent to my email which listed the duration of my rental as three days. The employee I spoke to said this was standard practice and the collision center working on my car would update them and they would extend the amount of days despite me saying it would take them at least seven. This practice puts a lot of faith in the auto body shop to update Enterprise so, the customer doesn't face liability. Around the seventh day, Enterprise called me and stated they would appreciate it if I could stop by their office so they could put a 2022 license plate renewal tab on the license plate attached to the Altima. The plate had been renewed and was valid but had a 2021 sticker with the month I rented the car. When I stopped by Enterprise I told the employee I didn't appreciate this inconvenience and if the license plate had expired the driver could be ticketed for driving the vehicle. The employee said only Enterprise would be held liable but that's not true. Once the employee realized the plate was out of Maryland and she couldn't locate the renewal tab she moved me into a different Altima. This 2021 Altima was a more luxurious model with leather seats and had additional upgrades. I didn't have to fuel my old rental back up, signed the tablet again and left the lot. A few days later my vehicle was done being repaired despite Enterprise saying the information they received was it would be totaled. Enterprise allowed me to leave the Altima at Ferman Collision Center where my vehicle was being worked on. Enterprise came and picked up their car up and I had no further contact with them. I would recommend this Enterprise location to others but, I caution others to be weary of potential problems when entering into an agreement with them as with any private business.

The problem started when I tried to call and rent a car for 2 days. After 24 hours had passed and…read moreno one called me back I rented the car through their online system and prepaid. Go in to pick up the car and it took over 45 minutes because they had the reservation printed out but could no figure out their computer. Please keep in mind I have already printed out my insurance and had my car ready for the security deposit. They proceeded to take a long time to call my insurance to verify deductibles. In the meantime they ran out of the Chevy Aveo or similar I had purchased. They let me know they were going to have to 'upgrade' me to a full size at no charge since the online system was giving them issues, yet they still had the reservation so I was confused. The 'upgrade' to the full size turned out to be an '03 Bonneville with purple tint. I take it as a trooper and later discover the car's alignment is way off and pulls off to the right, the interior lights do not work and the mirrors on the shades were gutted out. I called ahead and let them know the problem and let me know they can speak to the manager to see if she can do anything for when I drop it off. When I drop it off the manager would not discount it any more because 'They already gave me a deal giving me the full size at the economy price of $27.95 a day'. Some how them not managing what cars came in and out turned out to be my fault. The manager did not care about the issues and let me know she would put it in the shop but cosmetics like being able to see in the car at night were not a concern. In the end they refunded me an extra $10. This to me was not a good enough fix to all the liniency I showed and tried to deal with. I would highly recommend NOT going or wasting your time with this rental company.

I am a frequent flyer, so I am always renting from many companies. I have used USAVE a few times and every time its sub bar to the rest of them and I fail to complain, but this last weekend I was in Tampa for the weekend, I wanted to surprise my wife with this great deal I found through Priceline. $20.0/ day, I had to prepay to get it which is fine. Of course, you don't know what you are going to get. Ok, First surprise, Its a Mitsubishi Mirage, very small car, lawn more engine, its fine. Second surprise, Oh you need to pay for the Toll, ok. Third surprise, You need to have the right coverage, I have full coverage on 3 cars, no one ever asked me to look at the declaration page, so of course the $20.00 / a day deal turned to $200.00. I was fuming, I wanted to cancel, Guess what? Forth surprise, you can't cancel. I told this young man (who was on a phone call the whole time he was talking to me with his ear buds on) I don't want this to turn salesy I need this and that, I looked at my wife standing outside and felt pressured to get a car since it took us 2 Ubers and $75.00 to get there, my mistake I thought it would be at the car rental building but it wasn't, and we drove from Brandon, FL where the hotel was. I am very upset by this type of customer service. This never happens with any other company I rent from. Very shady way of doing business. I will take this everywhere unless I hear from somebody. Saw an ad years ago for Brothers Auto Sales, Palm Harbor, Florida, I stopped in, saw a Dodge Charger I liked, took a test drive and bought it, and since then I've purchased two more Chargers from Mike, one of three brothers, Frank Jr and Matt, who staff Brothers Auto Sales, and they take care of me every time as if I were an old friend of the family, something you don't feel anywhere else when you're shopping for cars anymore. Brothers Auto Sales has thrived in this location for over 28 years when Frank Sr., Mike's dad, moved the family from Queens, New York to Florida and started what's now become something of an institution by selling reasonably priced, mechanically sound used cars, trucks and SUVs priced well within most budgets, that are clean inside and out, even the engines under the hood are ready for inspection.
