Go in to pick up the car and it took over 45 minutes because they had the reservation printed out but could no figure out their computer. Please keep in mind I have already printed out my insurance and had my car ready for the security deposit. They proceeded to take a long time to call my insurance to verify deductibles. In the meantime they ran out of the Chevy Aveo or similar I had purchased. They let me know they were going to have to 'upgrade' me to a full size at no charge since the online system was giving them issues, yet they still had the reservation so I was confused. The 'upgrade' to the full size turned out to be an '03 Bonneville with purple tint. I take it as a trooper and later discover the car's alignment is way off and pulls off to the right, the interior lights do not work and the mirrors on the shades were gutted out. I called ahead and let them know the problem and let me know they can speak to the manager to see if she can do anything for when I drop it off. When I drop it off the manager would not discount it any more because 'They already gave me a deal giving me the full size at the economy price of $27.95 a day'. Some how them not managing what cars came in and out turned out to be my fault. The manager did not care about the issues and let me know she would put it in the shop but cosmetics like being able to see in the car at night were not a concern. In the end they refunded me an extra $10. This to me was not a good enough fix to all the liniency I showed and tried to deal with. I would highly recommend NOT going or wasting your time with this rental company.

I found, while getting my car working on elsewhere and renting from Nichols & Dimes, that they have a mechanic who is super nice. So, I started taking my car there whenever it had an issue. They were always super fast, and charged a very reasonable amount. I eventually bought a new car and, because it had a warrantee, no longer needed to go to Nichols & Dimes. My warrantee expired, and I just had my first issue. I called Nichols & Dimes and they fixed my issue right away. I had forgotten just how great they are! I would recommend them to anyone needing a rental car or a good mechanic!

It is the worst managed location that I have ever visited. The manager sara henk is rude to the customers, she is rude to the employees. She has horrendous turnover because of her lack of management skills. We rent on a 7 day basis, in order to receive our free day 6 & 7, she wanted us to re-write after 3 days, which would negate our discount, we said no, charge our card on file, and we will be in Monday, to start a new 7 day cycle. I put this all in an email, she failed to reply to the email, and without notice, used the GPS for the vehicle, and came and towed it. We were not behind in payments, and had not received notice of intent to tow. She has all of our company belongings in the vehicle. We have reached out to Shelly Roither, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chrissy Taylor, President and CEO, and Andrew Taylor, Executive Chairman. We will keep this complaint updated weekly. The Hispanic employee at this location told me that because I was younger than 25 years old I needed the hertz "package" which included insurance on the vehicle from hertz as well as roadside assistance. Meanwhile, he knew I had my own car insurance and I also have AAA so I didn't need either of those "requirements". I was lied to and mislead. To top it all off, this same employee told me one month later that this was not the case and his supervisor stated that none of his employees would ever say that because it's absurd. They rented it to someone else. Today, I gave them another chance. I reserved a car, and paid for it. I got there and they had to run a credit check on me. Even though they had my debit card, they said since I failed their credit check, I had to pay for the car with a credit car. They said I failed the credit check and had to pay for the card with a credit card. I handed my stack of credit cards. I told them I was not sure which cards had money. I was told they only had one more chance to make the card work. I would have probably been more understanding but they treated me so poorly. The lady is like, "Well it is written in our website". No darling it wasn't, or I would have seen it. The guy was worse. I caught an Uber there. No "sorry we destroyed your weekend" nothing but rudeness. Not the worse customer service I have ever seen but definitely top ten worse companies I have ever dealt with.
