Then in case you didn't know there is a 300$ hold deposit. They will waste your time, they will not even do anything to help you. They will just say sorry and have a good day. The employees at the Maumee location are unbelievably RUDE!!! I will never try and rent a car from this location again! I wish I knew the name of the nasty employee that waited on me today, He needs to be fired from his job!!!!! I was making small talk while we were putting things into the computer. I asked him why they were so short on rentals, He replied with people are getting into more accidents with their personal cars. I said ad a reply O really. I am really pretty shocked. I rented a car from this location -- and all was friendly and went well. But when I returned my car, I accidentally left my sportcoat in the car. I realized it before we'd driven a block (a friend picked me up from dropping off the car), and we turned right around. The young man who'd cleaned my car -- KNOWING I HAD JUST LEFT -- had found my sportcoat and tossed onto the floor in a pile of Lost & Found. How can a human being, knowing that I must be within moments of the place and knowing my cell phone number, NOT try to be a hero and call me to come back and get it.....??? Just one of those instances in which customer service could have been great -- but left me utterly pissed off. What a lazy lazy guy..... Just got a phone call stating there was damage to a car I rented for a day, odd considering they didn't even do a walk around to check the car. I will be contacting management and also let them know my car wasn't on time and they didn't do the standard checks like they usually do. I'm not happy. I always rent with enterprise and I have never had a bad experience like this. My car wasn't even ready when I got there to pick it up and they didn't go over Any contract details before I got in my car. Do not rent from this location unless you want to be scammed out of money. There was NO damage added to the car. It had scrapes and dents on it prior to me renting it. I can't even believe the unprofessional attitude at this location. ---Just got a call saying it was handled. I just hope who ever rents again would have a better experience. I won't rent a car from any other place in the Toledo area. I tried one of the other car rental companies last time, and it was horrible. Bad service. Bad car. Smelled like smoke. Vowed to never return. Tried this Enterprise location this time, and it was awesome! The service was fast and courteous. I was in and out very quickly and with zero hassle both the day I rented and the day I returned the car. They even gave me a free upgrade to a better model. I had a great experience at Enterprise on Conant in Maumee OH last week & would use them again thanks to Summer, who patiently & expediently assisted me. In addition to providing me a new Kia Sole at a fair price, she also made the effort to do a thorough inspection of the vehicle with me which I really appreciated. I was Jet-lagged, frazzled, & recuperating from recent shoulder surgery, on top of having just flown in for a wedding. As I struggled with everything from my cell to my credit card, Summer made the entire transaction a smooth, speedy, & positive experience which I definitely appreciated. read more

The manager did finally talk to me and did make it right with me on refunding me for the extra day. The headache I went through still makes me upset and still no shoes. I had a HORRIBLE experience with Enterprise, and this location in particular. Has an accident, and was directed to get a car from this location. Tried calling; got a fax machine. Tried again; ended up on hold 15 mins. Called the national number, only to be told that the office was closing and would not reopen until after Christmas. Who closes at 2 pm on a Saturday!? Real easy transaction smooth ride It usually is if you have the 300.00 deposit on a major credit card and a drivers license. If you don't have a major cc you have to have a bank statement,utility bill and or pay stub then you can rent with a debit. The tank was 1/2 full I brought it back 1/2 full. Smooth transaction. Nice Hyundai great gas and only 23.99 a day! economical and that's what I wanted. I used this during a recent visit in and around the Toledo Ohio area. So much for t the good stuff. They roll cars out here without washing them.. I found that odd. So on Sunday fathers day when I returned the car there was one employee renting and receiving, he was swamped! Although the place was only open 11am til 3pm a mere 4 hours..one of the employees brought his son to work..hey its fathers day right so that should be okay. Well I disagree. He should have taken the day off and fathers day is every bleeding day when you're a dad! He couldn't be away for 4hrs to do his job without interference? I prefer dads.. you know how its goes anybody can be a father. Takes a special man to be called dad. Besides the fact you're really busy you have your kid running jumping throwing a ball. You're having to say sit down, be quite, stop that...I was there so long me and the kid exchanged smiles and waves. I almost said sit down and let your dad do his job. LOL. One other worker just driving them on and off the lot. I mean enterprise rolls out cars like cattle! As soon as he checked the car took about 50 seconds,he rented it to the guy ahead of me. I jumped out he jumped in. Now that's fine mind you.. but understand I washed my hands and wiped down the door handles and gear shift and everything I needed to touch with Clorox wipes. I've rented from the location a few times previously and have always enjoyed dealing with Joel Pym, who is great to work with and very professional. However, the last two times I've rented cars from them, I've had to wash my own inside windows because they were so dirty and film-covered. The first episode was with a brand new Lincoln that had less than 300 miles on the odometer; clearly this car never received a new-car detail, as it still had that foggy film on the inside of the windshield that new cars often come from the factory with. (You could even still see the circle where the suction cup at the factory grabbed the windshield for installation.) It can't be seen during the day but at night it creates a dangerous glare that makes driving unsafe. It happened again last week with a 2015 Ford Fusion; the windshield and backlight were so filthy that I had to borrow a rag and a bottle of Windex from a friend to clean it myself. Not good, considering I even stopped a day ahead of time and asked that the windows be washed on the car I'd rent. I suspect they washed the outside windows, but anyone can do that... read more

We had a very positive experience renting a pick up truck from Enterprise. When we encountered over a one hour delay in acquiring our reserved vehicle, customer service stepped forward to make up for the inconvenience. Enterprise adjusted the cost of our truck rental by giving us one free day of rental for the truck. In addition, when the truck they were finally able to find for the rental had been returned to Enterprise it was be ry dirty, both inside and out. The staff at Enterprise did a fantastic job cleaning the interior and exterior in a very efficient manner allowing us to start on our trip. We could not have been happier with our experience at Enterprise. The next time that we will be in need of renting a vehicle I our first and only call will be to Enterprise. read more

I rented a car from this location from a Friday-Monday. The car smelled of cigarette smoke so bad that I drove it to Michigan Friday and parked it and hitched rides with friends until it was time to bring it back and return it. So I paid almost $200 for a car that made my allergies flare up and I couldn't even drive it like I had planned. The customer service at this store was good, but that's it. The car was in need of an oil change and the light & alarm would alert me of this during my 2 hour drive to Michigan and the two hour drive back. Quite annoying. I come to Ohio every couple months to visit family and I won't be renting again from this location, nor will I be recommending it. I spent what I pay in a month for my brand new car, for the weekend on a new car and it sucked! read more

Getting old and forgetful. We may have left a green dog vest in a car we rented on May 19th. Hunted high and low, is it possible the vest in your lost and found? It is for a service dog and has credentials and letters that are difficult to replace. On Wednesday March 23, I had a reservation reserved for a Full size car. I opted for drop off service at my office so I could leave my vehicle in a secured area for my trip. To my surprise, the car was dropped off early, which was great! I took the car for lunch and my coworker and I immediately noticed a foul odor. It smelled as if there had been marijuana smoked in the car, and then a strong chemical/cleaner was used to mask the odor. We took the car to lunch anyways and I returned and left the windows down. Four hours later, I went to depart for my trip and the car still had a terrible odor. I called the Maumee Enterprise (where the car came from) and explained the odor and even offered to bring the car back (a short 5 minutes away) so I could quickly continue my trip. I was informed that they had "nothing" they could rent me. Instead, they contacted another local branch and they informed them me that they had a vehicle. At this point I was forced to drive to another further away branch and delay the departure for my trip (I did not want to deal with a strange odor or the headache that the chemical was inducing). Upon arriving at the second brand location, they did go out to the car, but claimed the odor was from an over used cleaner during the cleaning process. At this point they tried to find me something they could give me - which ended up being a Passat that I had to wait for while it was cleaned from just being returned. Afterwards I had to back track to the area of the original location to begin my trip, almost an hour and a half behind schedule because of this car swap. I was very disappointed that the second branch location did not offer any sort of apology or help for my inconvenience. I'm not even sure the Passat is classified as a full size rental, and I know it was no where near as nice as other full size rentals I have had. However, after being so delayed on my trip at this point, I was willing to accept anything so I could get on the road and arrive at my destination on time. I have had great experiences with Enterprise in the past, however, this was not their normal class act of customer service. read more
