DO NOT RENT ... they give cars out that have expired inspection and registration cars they rent out without checking. So first thing first i went to even rent a car because i was in a car accident the first car i got it was NH plates and i seen myself after driving it for 3days the inspection was 2 months expired they gave me a new car i had it for a few weeks gave it back i had to re rent because my car was not fixed i get a car with Pennsylvania plates getting off work one night i get pulled over at 2:00am to find out the registration was expired the officer was nice enough to let me go and not tow the car and said himself "this is embarrassing im sorry this happened to you" and let me leave to go to them the next day. I will NEVER BE BACK to rent another car and i hope they fix the problem and the system they shouldnt be able to rent the cars out if its not 100% serviced read more

Rented from the local roslindale office in MA. Very busy and I waited an hour to finally get my vehicle. Drop off was just the opposite experience. Dead quiet and just a few cars in the lot, so much more enjoyable experience. read more

Tonight was a horrible experience with the Mattapan location. Never again!!!!!! I rush there in a cab $30 to make it before they closed. The associate looked pretty bummed she had to do some research and work and basically dismissed me. I wasn't told when I booked my reservation that I couldn't use my significant credit card, remind you he was on his was in the store. I really want to love this location but unfortunately I don't ..... I booked a rental 2 weeks prior scheduled for a 12pm pickup. The associate claimed they called me and i have no record on my phone of them calling , anyway I arrived at the location to pick up my rental and they said they didn't have any and were waiting for vehicles and would get back to me ... I the customer had to call this location at 5pm ... they close at 6pm... for the most nonchalant associate to answer the phone and explain to me there might not be any rentals but he would call me back. This associate never called me back ..... I'm definitely taking a break on enterprise... a little customer service and follow up goes a long way read more

After picking up our rental at the airport & going over to my cousin's house we realized that "This car is too wide for this street. Someone is going to hit this car" (Even though the same thing we feared happened with the smaller rental) Thankfully, we found this Enterprise not too far away so we went right over. When we first got there, they didn't have the car that we wanted but luckily someone brought back a car while we were there. This is a Text I sent Mr.J. Maxwell who represents Cust.Service for enterprise rent a car. My Dispute with the Morton Street location" Enterprise Rental car was that they are not only over Charging Customer's but also Charging credit cards without prior authorization. Mr. Maxwell had the POWER to have chosen to resolve this issue of DISSATISFACTION!!! And also look into it. HOWEVER for some odd reason he chose to LEAVE me in a dissatisfaction state instead of REALLY Investigating a FEW key points like I explained to him which were. Employees at that location is charging Customer's without Notifying a customer that a charge will be added to a Insurance Claim Coverage. I also mentioned to him that Manager's at that location is saying to Customers one thing and then not Fulfilling or keeping WORD on what was told to a Customer... I then told him that one of his Employee was Rather INTIMIDATING and even until the day of the text he still didn't Mention anything of that incident BEING RESOLVED or that it will Never happen again to me or any other Future Customer who come in with Matters of Billing Disagreements... So with those FEW key Points. I told Mr . This has got to be the worst location I have dealth with, sadly. Is there a coincidence between the location and the quality of service, God knows! I went to this location, which I am regretting now, spoke to a dominican guy Odylis I think his name was. My car was totalled and I asked to take a car which would be completely covered by my insurance. I was given a car in which the bluetooth did not work. i returned and traded the car for another because the staff was not capable of fixing the issue. I remember that while there, I heard one gentleman complain about additional charges he received, and that a capeverdian girl was trying to process but he caught wind of it! this should have been a sign for me. He contested the charges and was approved. Another gentleman outside was having a problem because he wanted a certain type of rental that should have been covered by his insurance due to his car being in an accident; they first told him no for this type of car that allegedly his insurance would not cover. After several calls which I witnesses, he was able to get his insurance company to talk some sense into the staff and they gave him the car he wanted. My problem is that I just realized that they charged me additional feels (taxes which I specifically and clearly asked to be included in my insurance coverage for any car I was to take), and deducted that out of my deposit, which they should not have. I am quite infuriated at such a level of incapacity and underperformance! I will keep my cool for the time being and pursue that issue with a supervisor ( other than their current Amanda who seems not to know what she is doing). I am further more irritated because I had a casual conversation with Odylis, and thought he was looking out for me, but... Sometimes business wonder why people come at them disrespectfully, how not to when dealing with such an extreme level of either ignorance or blunt fraudulence. Either choose a different company (Hertz never ever gave me this issue but thats the second time with enterprise) or borrow from a friend! read more

Do not rent a car from this office ! I rented a car after an accident. When I got the car it was filthy there was some kind of food all over the back seat. It had a bad smell just not a clean car. After the week I returned it and complained that the car was a mess. They told me they would not charge my credit card on file that it would be free. That the manager would call me. The manager never calls me and when I try to call him after 3 or 4 days he is unavailable I waited on hold spoke with associates and still no call back. Then they charged my card the one they said they would not charge. Poor experience and will never rent from here I recommend the enterprise on Morrisey Blvd in Dorchester I've never had a bad experience with this enterprise. read more

I've had good experience with Enterprise in other locations, but this one is a big NO! I gave up dealing with this place while trying to get a rental after a car accident, through my insurance. They wouldn't agree to reduce $1 a day for the total rate (rental+tax+fees) for car they had available so the rental would be within what my insurance covers. The worse was that the agent made it sound like he could, but wouldn't because I should have gotten higher coverage. Well, thanks for the advice, but that doesn't solve my problem. I went to Hertz on Blue Hill Ave and got a rental within my rate with no problem. You should go there instead. read more

Ok so i got into a terrible crash on Wednesday hit from behind by a guy with no insurance. So sadly i havd to pay for my rental at a discounted rate but out of pocket. On Wednesday i was anger and in pain sadly Tien had to work with me. He put me in a ford focus which coming out of a gmc acadia is a problem. I have 3 kids one in an infant car seat. The car smelled and was too small. Tien tells me to come back he can switch me out for a smaller car for the day then call me back later in the day when something bigger comes in. I never get a call back. The next morning i drop in and meet Ricky who says the same thing but call him later in the day when im done with meetings and he can get me switched downtown where i was. I call Ricky back and he did just that. But the car i was in was too damaged for the government center location to take back. ,! They were so rude and arrogant i was pissed. Tien tells me to come back to morton but he has no cars currently to switch me out of. I get to the location and the phones were ringing off the hook 3 ppl waiting more ppl coming in and a carless lot. But everyone left with a car. Ricky did an amazing job making everyone happy and keeping his word from earlier in the day. I would definitely go back! read more

I've attempted to contact the GM of the Mattapan location of Enterprise Rental Car to no avail. BBB next. The worst experience ever. Implicit bias. After completing the transaction 3 days out, I get a condescendingly, insulting, offensive call from on of the employees, questions without provocation or reason my credit worthiness and insuating with the overtones of uncertainty that I couldn't afford or possibly have the credit to afford to rent the vehicle (Chevy Suburban 4 days). The following day I go to pick up the vehicle, the rep takes a while, pulls into the front lot a tells me he was trying to get some of the pollen off of the vehicle (note - it was not pollen it was dirt and the rinse did not work). It was filthy inside food, trash sticky spill stains. I insisted he note this and lies continued from there ie..the printer is broken, I can't contact the supervisor, Iook I put it in the iPad (not included in notes)...the experience was so bad, I turned the vehicle in early at a different location an flew home and took an Uber. This wouldn't happen in any other community. 0 Stars if I could. read more

I had to get a car rental here because I had a car accident. They gave me a car with scratches and a damaged bumper. which they noted on the paperwork. When I went to return the car, they said I caused the damage and said I needed to file a claim. I let them know I did not cause the damage. But the guy working that day insisted that I did. I was sent a bill from Enterprise for $1000 for the damages. I filed a dispute with the company an after an investigation they dropped all the charges and said they would fix the car and that I was not liable. Information that I knew already. I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM ENTERPRISE AT MATTAPAN. What the employee working that day got from giving me this headache I will never know, but it was unnecessary. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. They have raggedy cars with scratches and damage and they will say you did it when you return ...even when theres paperwork to prove otherwise. It was bad enough having the accident, this made the whole experience more of a nightmare. read more
