Horrible customer service. Called to try to see about a rental for a few days. At first, took forever to get through the automated menu, then asked to be connected to the local office, but I wasn't. Criminals work here. Was in an accident and my insurance company was providing a rental. Enterprise was close and my insurance company deals with them. My insurance adjuster sent all my info to them and said I'll need 50$ deposit. And just show up the next morning for my rental. I uber down at 10am the next day. They tell me they have no record of me and regardless I'll need to make an appointment contrary to what my agent told me. They said they won't have a car for me until I make an appointment for the following day. I uber back home, I'm not home for an hour when the call and say they have all my info and nobody at the office opened the email from my insurance until after I left. So I uber back down. I get my rental and go to pay my 50$ deposit and they are charging me 180$. I said there is a mistake I'm only obligated to pay 50$ deposit. 25mins after they all huddle together in a backroom, they apologized and told me the person who logged my information was newly hired and put the wrong data in. 2 weeks later my car is repaired and ready for pick up. I called my insurance agent and let him know that I'm dropping off the rental and getting my car back. He said everything is good on their end. I drop the car off and Enterprise says I owe 280$ because insurance only covers 10 days of rental. So while there I called my agent back and asked him, he said absolutely not and they had the rental extension permission for the last 5 days already and they owe me my deposit back only. Once again they blamed it on someone not opening an email from 5 days ago and told me my deposit will be refunded by the next day. 2 days later no refund, called Enterprise, they blamed it on my bank. 4 days later no refund, called again and apologized said no one there closed me out for the refund in the system. So with that and a weekend, it took 10 days for my refund. Please stay away from this place, they are either grossly incompetent or white collar criminals. read more

Spoke to the manager Dan today after eleven of us were rented a van for a golf trip weekend to State College Pennsylvania. Upon returning home we noticed that the State Inspection had been expired for nearly a month. That would mean that not only my passengers lives, but countless others that had rented this particular van, Penn State New Kensington being the one most previous to us, were put at risk. This UNACCEPTABLE! A gentleman actually visually inspected this vehicle upon our exit. When we called to straighten this out, the manager offered us 25% off? That's right humans. He feels your life is worth a 25% refund? If anyone is to rent here, I would suggest going to a junkyard, they don't inspect their vehicles either and I'm assuming they would MUCH cheaper than the 380 dollar ticket attached to this van. I will be seeking legal representation as I feel my life as well as my rights were infringed upon. This was handled terribly and I will NOT stand by and let innocent people be taken advantage of. Who haggles with someone over this? This should have been a FULL refund and I will what is necessary to get justice for this. read more

My sister rented a car and they told us for me to be added as additional driver I could go into any enterprise and get added. Due to time restraints, it was easier for me to go to the enterprise near my house. The woman said she never had that. Why were we doing it? I explained they told us we could and it was easier for me. I tried to give her the contract number she said she had no space on computer to do it. I didn't rent from them and maybe that is why she didn't care. When I was walking out the door she said,"Well I could call them". Too late. I wasted 10 minutes of her just saying she didn't know how to do it. I have rented from them in the past and I wasn't impressed then either. I will find another place next time. read more

If you don't have a major credit card you have to jump through loops just to get a car. They want three references, two bills in your name just to rent a car. I had the money so I just don't understand why you have to jump through loops to get a car and get treated like you're a piece of garbage. read more

Great customer service - I requested that my rental be held with a credit card but charged to my debit card. This is almost always overlooked/ignored when renting with other companies, however was no problem with Enterprise. Rep was quick and polite - much appreciated! Car wasn't top-notch: had stained seats and no satellite radio, however it was reliable and conformable. Will happily rent from them again. read more

I rented a car for one day through Brendan Lucchino. He was thorough and treated me very fairly. He gave me an extra cushion of one hour to bring the car back since I had a doctor's appt earlier. He was very fair with the gas usage and gave me generous credit for what I used. I highly recommend this gentleman at Enterprise. I would go there again. read more

This was my 8th rental from here to date. As typical, It was a Quick and easy rental for pick up and return. The reps are polite and efficient. My only complaint is this location needs more cars or a larger selection. I rarely get the class that I reserved, though what I get is always an upgrade and never a downgrade. Business rental for five days. Waiting for a car to arrive & told it's coming any moment & what kind of car it is. Once it arrives - they lie right to my face & say it's for someone else. The car is sitting here & I'm sitting here. 15 mins until they close. Worst customer service ever - lied right to my face & they don't even care!!! Independently owned - corporate can't help me - they only run the airport locations! I will not be back!!!! read more

3 days and still no car. My vehicle was in an accident and I contacted Enterprise to get a rental while mine is in the shop. First they get me a vehicle that has engine warning lights on while I am driving. I call them to get it replaced and they tell me they have no other cars. I live in Pittsburgh, there are 20 Enterprise rental centers around me and they tell me that none of them have cars, so they replace the vehicle that should never have been rented in the first place with a Minivan that is over my insurance rental rate and they say it is just for the day until they can get me a proper car. I don't hear back for the rest of the day and the next day, a Saturday, I call them and leave a message because no one is answering at the local center. I call corporate and complain and they say they will take care of it. 3 hours go by and no one calls. I call corporate back and they say "take care of it" means 5 days. I call the local store and they are now closed for the day so I know I'm not getting a car until monday, because people don't need to rent on weekends. I call corporate back and they cant or won't do anything so no more Enterprise for me. read more
