My vehicle was in the shop and I had a rental car through my insurance. I'm not a big fan of that whole process, but my experience couldn't have gone any better. I was in and out in five minutes when I got my rental car. I was in and out in seven minutes when I returned the rental car. The two ladies working the counter this afternoon were awesome. Complete shysters, wife rented a car from them to drive to California to visit a college with my teenage daughter. The initial interaction was good, then while dropping the car off the rental agent walked straight out the door and straight to the front of the vehicle and pointed out a crack in the windshield. (We suspect he knew it was there already) No problem we have insurance for that thru our regular car insurance. So my wife made a claim with our insurance, paid the deductible. We thought no problem. A couple weeks later now we are receiving threatening letters from them stating they are going to charge our credit card. We spoke with our insurance company and they stated "it's under review" which is a standard practice. How much more aggressive can they be? Is this standard practice to treat their customers like crooks? I will never rent there again and would never recommend them to anyone read more

I loaned my car out to a long-time family friend on January 15th and the snow embankment gave out and caused a small landslide into wheel well and caused him to lose control and flip on highway. We both had insurance through Progressive and I had elected rental car coverage. They set me up for a rental car in Olympia, Washington, which unfortunately is over 80 miles away from home. I picked up the vehicle with breeze after showing ID and letting them swipe credit card. Was driving away with a hybrid within 15 minutes of arriving at their location. My insurance was really dragging on totaling my vehicle and processing everything in my claim. On March 31st, my boyfriend was on his way to work in his own vehicle and extreme weather was causing too much snow and ice on roads. He decided it was unsafe and stopped his commute to work to return home. But after he turned around the car slid out of control and into a guard rail causing significant body damage. So now all we had was the rental car from Enterprise once he had his vehicle towed to body shop. I updated Enterprise of the situation explaining that I may need to keep rental longer than my insurance will pay for. They said that was fine and to keep in contact. I did, and my insurance extended my rental longer so it appeared I may only need the rental maybe an extra day or two. But meanwhile, beginning of February, I noticed I got a fraudulent charge on my credit card from New York. It was the same card I secured the Enterprise rental with. I had to cancel it because the number was compromised. I notified Enterprise of the situation and was thinking I could just give them a new credit card number over the phone. They refused to take the card over the phone and said I needed to drive over 160 miles roundtrip to their branch to update it. I decided to go car shopping before my rental ran out. On March 14th, I called Kyle, Manager, at the Enterprise in Olympia Carriage Loop location and asked if I could go to the Longview, Washington Branch to update the payment method. He said yes. So I went to Longview location and right away was told that they could not do that by the front desk receptionist. Her manager came up and corrected her and said she needed to contact Kyle in Olympia. After they got off phone with Kyle all of a sudden they knew how to process it. So I gave them the key with barcode to car and ran a card. The card declined although I had enough credit on it. I was confused. But decided to just run my debit card. I put in wrong pin number as I had also changed my pin number the same time I got the fraud charge on Credit Card. The ladies at Longview refused to let me try the correct pin number. Claiming it was their policy to not run a declined card twice. I asked if my boyfriend could run his card. They refused. I asked if I could get cash and pay for the deposit with cash, they refused. I asked if they could close out existing reservation and start a new reservation under my boyfriends name, again they refused. The ladies called Kyle at the Olympia branch to explain what was happening and Kyle told them to take the keys from me. I called Kyle and explained I had been renting from them for 15 years and was not trying to scam them. I just had a really long run of bad luck in last month, I was good for the money if he could just let me run the card again. He said his hands were tied. So there we were stuck over 90 miles away from home, we had to check into a hotel before we could get a ride home the next day. I did finally get a call from the area manager on April 8th for Olympia, Washington branch, but never got a call about those rude ass ladies at Longview branch. I remember how they smirked as I was in tears begging them to not leave me stranded. It was like it was total entertainment for them to do this to me. 15 year customer meant nothing to these people. I hope they both get fired. They clearly are not qualified to their jobs, and only got hired for their looks not their skills. If I could rate a zero I would. Kira the manager was the rudest person ever. She had no clear instructions on what was needed when asked what to bring to rent a car. She failed to mention the few options of payment. Do not go to this location she was rude and racist. I am new to the community and she made sure I can't rent again. Luckily, I was able to cancel my request before she listed me as not able to rent. I appreciate her trying to speed this process up but my insurance heard my complain and will also be reporting her. I have found a much better place to rent from!! If you are brown, or new to the community I REPEAT do not go to this location or any of them. She will be reported to corporal for unethical behavior and racist actions. DO NOT GO HERE. She couldn't even hold a conversation on the phone and proceeded to mention she could no longer keep the conversation going and so I hung up. She even called my insurance to state she had mentioned important information to me before. My insurance was confused as to why she was acting the way she was. Wow. Went to the location to pick up my rental car. I had to bum a ride from one of the detail guys because our vehicle was totaled. The Insurance company had made all the arrangements so I felt confident that the rental company would have everything in order and make the transaction relatively quick and painless. Then the obviously low IQ college graduate started throwing obstacles at me that were ludicrous and somehow typical for a person who has terrible customer service skills. Credit cards and matching addresses and unacceptable demands for people who are relocating but have had some bad luck befall them. We moved here recently after my wife was seriously injured by an out of control driver last year. She is still recovering. She was hit and run on Sunday night and it was all we could do to deal with the situation. We needed some help and professional customer service. We did not need to be put through a time wasting disappointing unprofessional clown act. I had to get a ride home from a very nice stranger because I gave the sub par employees a dressing down and pointed out the falsehoods that one of them was putting forth. We have AZ licenses. The young lady behind the counter said she told my wife the necessary steps she needed but when she told everyone involved that my wife has an Oregon license I knew the rest of her story was not valid or true. She straight up lied. I cussed. They were offended. They left me stranded. They did not care. They did not act professionally. They were pathetic and dishonest. I was left to find my own way home rather than pick up the vehicle I was promised. How pathetic that this can happen. And they could care less. Arrogant unprofessional ignorant uncaring obstinate less than moral people. I wonder why they think this is okay. read more

I was disappointed in the lack of communication between Enterprise and my insurance company. I was scheduled with a reservation number to pick up an economy car but, there were no cars available when I got there so, an employee had to drive me home and I couldn't get a car until the next day. When I arrived I was told that there were no economy cars I was given a SUV which wasn't gas efficient AT ALL! Furthermore, I was told the first time I went there that my insurance company would pay only $20 a day for a car but, that wasn't so. When I arrived the next day, I was informed that there was no limit on what insurance would pay since I had been hit by an uninsured driver. *BUT, the employees are personable and friendly. read more

A New Year! But the same Rental Car Office! The Longview Enterprise is simply the Best I have ever dealt with. Rented a Dodge Journey for a long trip and was very pleased with the comfort of this vehicle. 1700 miles and my back still likes me! 23-24 mpg with awd. Plenty of Power! Better than the Chrysler Town & Country we rented a while ago. The driving position was the big difference. But if you need stow and go seats, well ??? Turned in the Journey for a Hyundai Veloster. What a fun little car. Has a 3rd door on the passenger side to better access the rear seats (small). They fold down for more cargo. Dual clutch automatic with paddle shifters! WOW! 37+ MPG! Got lots of compliments on its looks. If I was looking for a small car to buy...hmmmm. Shoutouts to Rob the Mgr, Brandon, and Rance! Keep up the good work! Oh and Makalla, you rock! read more

Well I would highly recommend calling to get service. I got there at 9am to only sign a paper to get myself on as a driver of a van that has already been rented. Waited in line with 1 other person for over 30 minutes while they kept answering the phone and helping them with their needs. We stood and watched as they helped 4 callers before us. Ugh. I've used the Longview store a few times while our cars have been replaced, and the guys have always been very accommodating. I work just a few blocks away, so walk to the store, but they still always offer to come pick me up. Most recently, I needed a car to drive to Medford, as I didn't want to put the miles/gas on my truck. They gave me an incredible rate, so the cost of the rental was almost a wash when I factored in the amount of gas my truck would have used, along with wear and tear. Only complaint I have is that they bundle both keys/fobs on a cable so they couldn't be separated and were too big to fit in a pocket. I'm glad to see Enterprise back in Longview/Kelso! read more
