In early October I reserved a Van from 3030 East Bay, Largo Enterprise for Dec 26th. Up to Dec 25th I was getting notices about my confirmed Van reservation. On Dec 26th 2 hours before I was to pick up the Van I get a phone call from Enterprise there was NO Van and No other option for me. 2 hours before I'm to pick up the Van they figure that out? I asked for the manager to call me and never heard from any one in that office again. I would NEVER recommend renting Vehicles from this enterprise ever. We had to take a Chevy Impala, but they said they would put us on a list of tiles when they had an SUV available. After eight days of waiting, they never had an SUV available. I had unfortunate experience of renting from this enterprise location. To be more accurate I rented from Pinellas Park and returned my car to the Largo location. The Pinellas Park location was wonderful. They treated me with respect very friendly very kind very efficient. I rented this vehicle because my car was in the body shop. I have three cars, so technically, this car was just sitting on the side of the house in case my wife needed to go to the store. It was a Toyota Tacoma. The car is dirty when I picked it up but that was fine. I told them not to bother cleaning it because I was in a rush And they had limited availability. Fast-forward two weeks and I return the cards to the Largo location on East Bay. I had the unfortunate luck to work with Dylan a young, cocky, naïve, arrogant inconsiderate individual. Dylan accused me of having a dog in my vehicle. I do not have a dog, nor did I have a dog in the vehicle. Dylan explained to me that when any anybody rents from enterprise Rent-A-Car. The cars are not to be driven with dogs inside. This includes emotional support and service animals. He explained that he would be charging my credit card $300 for a detailing service. He did not ask if I had a dog he did not ask if a dog was in the car. He simply told me like I was a child that he was going to take my $300, and there was nothing I could do about it. THE BIGGEST SURPRISE TO ME WAS THAT ENTERPRISE A COMPANY I HAVE WORKED FOR AND HAVE CONTINUED TO DO BUSINESS WITH SINCE 1998. IS NOT DOG OR ANIMAL FRIENDLY. THEY WILL NOT DISCLOSE THIS TO YOU DURING RENTAL, IT WILL BE BURIED IN THE FINE PRINT OF A CONVENIENTLY SENT CONTRACT TO YOUR EMAIL. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE AGAIN, BEN THE BRANCH MANAGER OF THE LOCATION SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF AS HE WATCHED THIS INTERACTION TAKE PLACE, ALL WHILE COWERING BEHIND HIS DESK IN THE BACK OF THE OFFICE. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will first start off by saying staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. Ray did give me the wrong information about how much I was paying extra over what my insurance was paying for an upgrade but was very friendly. Paisley and Zach, both managers were very nice trying to rectify issues and seems to me that they are doing the best they can for what they are given from corporate. With that said, the cars are disgusting, older, banged up, dirty, missing mats and smell horrible. I specifically asked for a vehicle that did not smell like cigarettes. The first vehicle was so heavily deoderized that the cigarette stink didn't come through for 3 days. Called the office and I was told that they did not have any vehicles for me to trade out. I could call around or wait until they get something else in. Got the run around from other enterprise offices so I called customer service, also got the run around. I was told that a regional manager would get back to me, so far it has been 6 days with no return call from a regional manager. Later that day, I went back to the Largo location and worked with Paisley, she had a really nice Jeep grand cherokee that was just cleaned but it reeked of Marijuana and cigarettes. Paisley said there is nothing they can do if there is no visable ashes. I settled for another older rogue. All while the sewer was backing up next to the car and smelling disgusting. This location needs upgrades and renovating and the fleet seriously needs to be upgraded. The sewer spillage alone, the health department and county could shut down operations as this is dangerous to your employees and customers. If corporate does not support the good employees, they will have higher turnover. The regional manager is obviously absent from operations or turning a blind eye and clearly doesn't care about ANY customer service. Would absolutely not recommend. read more

I've never had such a good experience at a rental car branch as I did at this one recently. Everyone I dealt with at this branch from the branch manager to the person that assisted me at the counter was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They made efforts to accommodate my requests which were sincerely appreciated. Unlike any other rental car company/branch they reached out by phone a couple of days before pickup to confirm the details as well as again after returning the car to ensure everything went well. I have no qualms recommending to anyone in need of a rental car that they should head to this Enterprise location. read more

Had a bad experience with enterprise at this location . Rented a car and was told we had unlimited mileage twice by two employees . Did a 3 week trip and got charged 400$ in fees for being "over" miles. Manager gave us the run around and kept telling us corporate would contact us . Never heard a word and they billed our credit card. I will never rent from this location again , the airport locations are 100x better . This largo location is unprofessional, small selection of cars, long wait times.( we waited 30 mins for our car to being finish cleaned even though we had an appointment . If I could give less than one star I would. Made my reservation for 7 passenger vehicle with Budget. Paid ahead of time. Arrived on time for my pick up. No vehicle available at least not a 7 passenger. I asked if I was going to get a refund. Lady at counter went cold rude and said she could not help me and to call customer service. I said "Ma'am I know you are having a hard time, but I am just asking a simple question" The lady didn't want to make eye contact sucked her teeth and just said "I already told you, call costumer service. I cant help you, need to leave my establishment!". She was so mean and evil. Don't rent from this establishment. My car dealership has a rental agreement contract with Enterprise when my car is under warranty maintenance. Received my Reservation number.and called at 349pm to ask for a ride to facility. The agent stated pickup would be around 445-530pm. I was told the driver would call when near. No one showed. Not a call. This is not the first time this location has provided poor service to family, friends, and myself. Chose another location! This one lacks professionalism and customer service skills! It is NOT okay for me to loose income. It is not okay for me to scramble to try to find alternative transportation for school and work. read more

These folks don't have a big inventory, so your chances of getting the car you expected is slim. They are nice about it, but what they have may not suit your needs. I reserved a full-sized sedan. I was originally offered a volkswagen beetle. Upon rejecting that, I was offered a pick-up truck. Upon rejecting that, I was offered a coupe sports car as my only other option. As I needed a sedan with luggage room for 3 retirees, I was ready to go elsewhere. They were able to fast-track a recent return and I was able to get a car similar to what I had reserved initially. As I said, they were nice about the situation, but I didn't enjoy the fear that I wasn't going to be able to rent the vehicle I needed. Since, I only rent cars when my current vehicle is not adequate, the availability is a big deal to me. Other than that, everything was great. read more

Very satisfied with my rental car. 3 stars because of a very rude young blonde man that worked here. He clearly didn't care about his job and had an attitude. A polite young lady was helping me try to get a hold of my insurance company he walks over and takes the phone out of her hand and hung it up as she was calling and said "no, she needs to do that herself" speaking of me. Jorge was the man who helped me out. So I'd say 3-4 years ago I had an awful experience at this location and in turn they offered me a 3 day car rental certificate to be used in the future. Fast forward 3-4 years later I was ready to use it and of course the Manager at that branch (Michael?) left the company. I explained the situation to Jorge and still honored the certificate as originally promised and was very accommodating once we arrived. He even gave us an update for the 4 of us. The Enterprise Car Rental has absolutely no concern for customer service complaints whatsoever. I had an issue with the one on East Bay in Largo, Fl. and emailed corporate about it with no response. So then they have the nerve to ask for a review on Facebook, which I gladly gave them a poor review. That got a response very quickly. I told my story to the person who monitors the Facebook reviews, and he apologized and said he forwarded it to corporate. Still no response, do I emailed him back and he again apologized and resent to corporate. Still no answer, so I must assume that corporate is deluged with complaints of dissatisfied customers and it will be a long time before they get back to me. It will be a cold day in Hell before I ever rent from them or any of the others owned by the parent company. I wonder how long it will be before I get a response to this. these are the worst human beings on the planet. they are so rude, unprofessional. they didn't have the car I reserved online and then gave me such a difficult time in me paying for my car I gave them so many options all in my name and because of a recent address change they wouldn't take any type of the options I had and just the way they went about speaking to me was absolutely. especially the "agent" that "helped"me.. was literally the rudest most miserable person I've ever encountered in my life. Mike was awful. I had a safety hazard with a car from another branch and was told to take to closest enterprise to switch out. I arrived with a lit filled with cars. Mike told me he wouldn't switch me out and to drive on the highway in danger to the original branch adding that my contract was with the branch I rented from not him. I worked with Q (not his real name, but he asked me to call him that), who was very friendly and professional. This was the first time I had rented a car, and Q made no effort to rush me as I diligently inspected the vehicle (a Nissan Altima) for any visible damage (to be sure that it would not be discovered later and considered to have occurred during my rental period). The Altima was in fact an upgrade (full-size versus intermediate) over the car I had reserved, but ultimately did not cost any more to rent. For driving down long stretches of Florida highway, it could not have been more comfortable. As things turned out, I needed to cut my trip short and return the car two weeks earlier than planned. Here again Enterprise was perfectly accommodating. I think the daily rate I was charged for the one week I had the car ended up being slightly higher than the daily rate for my original reservation of over three weeks, but that was to be expected. If I ever fly into St. Petersburg again, I will rent from this Enterprise location without hesitation (in addition to their customer service being excellent, picking up your car from the Largo, FL Enterprise location saves you a significant amount of money versus using the Enterprise location at the St. Petersburg airport; you'll need to get a taxi from the airport to Largo, but it's a short ride and well worth it). read more

Enterprise- "we won't pick you up. And we will take advantage of you by fraudulently making claims against you" Spoke with Manager Max at this location on 3.6.20 with the need to pick up my deceased husband's rental. He told me they don't do that and said I could take an Uber. Most humans would instantly start the line of communication with I'm so sorry for your loss. Nope. No where was any form of human sympathy. Max could have even said I'm so sorry, I can't do it right this second, but I can figure it out for you. I had asked because my insurance agent said they would... and it is their slogan for gosh sake! Informed him I was unable to deliver the vehicle and the keys would be left in the glove box for them to pick up. They picked up sometime between 3.6.20 at 4 pm and 3.8.20 at 5pm. Never with a courtesy that the vehicle was in their possession. Top it off I get a call from my insurance agent a few weeks later that they put a claim on the rental for damage that never happened. Mind you I saw the vehicle everyday and this magical damage never happened while in our possession. I also just got a pic from them and they are showing a huge dent in a bumper... that is not something one would miss seeing. Nice try enterprise Real classy read more

One employee told me one thing and then after I went ALL THE WAY back home to get the documents I was told I needed, I came back and was told something totally different by another employee.. the whole thing was the most infuriating experience and I can promise you I WONT be back!!! 100% unprofessional and rude staff. I travel weekly and have never had such poor service. A promised 5 minute wait to be picked up turned into an hour and a half on 2 separate occasions. Once there the car was broken and they tried to up sell me to a cargo van. That was not working for me so I was rudely told to sit and wait until they could find and clean a car. I have used Enterprise over the years and due to the consistent excellence displayed in customer service, I opted to stay with them when I moved to the Tamp Bay area. The location on East Bay in Largo met and exceeded my expectations. Jason and Kimberly, as well as the other associates ( I forgot one of the girl's names so I won't call any of them) convey a genuine concern for the customer. When I had a mechanical problem with one car, (things happen some times) I was able to call Jason to remedy the problem. The whole staff is able to maintain a friendly demeanor while attending to the needs of the counter. I'll put it this way, of the 9 people who have taken care of me, I remember all of their names except one. This location is the model of hospitality for the car rental industry. read more
